Hôtels 2 étoiles à Gansu, Chine

I stayed 2 nights in this hostel. It is really well located (many shops, night market, metro), but the first time it's not easy to find the right entrance in the building. Indeed, the entrance is little bit dodgy because it's dark and dirty. But once you arrive at the 8th floor, everything is perfect. I really recommend this hostel in Lanzhou. Elle est très bien placée (nombreux commerces, marché de nuit, métro), mais il n'est pas facile de trouver l'entrée la première fois. En effet, le hall d'entrée est sombre, sale et n'invite pas à venir. Mais une fois arrivé au 8ème étage, tout est vraiment parfait. Je recommande cette auberge à Lanzhou. Nous avons séjourné trois nuits dans cette maison d’hôte pour visiter Xiahe et le monastère de Labrang, et nous y avons passé un excellent séjour. La famille qui tient l’établissement est vraiment très accueillante et adorable. Nous avons eu la chance de partager plusieurs beaux moments avec eux autour d’un repas, d’un thé ou d’un dessert, et de découvrir quelques produits locaux tibétains. La chambre était très propre, tout comme les draps et les serviettes, et la maison traditionnelle en bois a beaucoup de charme. L’emplacement est aussi très pratique pour visiter la ville et le monastère. L’hôte nous a beaucoup aidés pendant le séjour, avec de bons conseils, notamment pour les restaurants et pour mieux gérer l’altitude. Ils sont même équipés d’un concentrateur d’oxygène, ce qui peut être très utile pour l’acclimatation. Une très belle expérience, authentique et chaleureuse, que nous recommandons vivement aux voyageurs souhaitant découvrir un peu la vie locale. Il faut simplement avoir en tête que cette immersion peut être plus dépaysante et différente des standards occidentaux, ce qui fait aussi tout l’intérêt du lieu.

The train station basement had no internet connection so I was not able to get DiDi.  Not only did I overpay even after negotiating, but the driver spent the beginning part of the trip texting and I had to swing my arm across him as we were about to rear end another car.  20 minutes later arrival at Maiji Shan park entrance. The friendly owner was already there and immediately helped me with my bags.  A few minute drive to the expansive farmhouse.  I asked for a bowl of noodles which was hot and delicious provided by a grandmother woman. Chinese farm Breakfast was plentiful.  I used the heat as the mountains got cold quickly when the sun dropped.  The immaculate room was large with two double beds, a tv and desk.  The bathroom had integrated toilet and shower so it is wet.  Plenty of hot water tho the turn on was a matter of button pressing.  I learned something new!  Toiletries and paper towels (another first) were provided.  The owner took me to Maiji Shan.  Sadly, it was closed; rain had made rocks fall making it dangerous to climb the stairs. Nevertheless, I took some photos.  I tried to walk back (beautiful fall day), but the owner met me along the wayThe owner and I communicated via WeChat translator.  DIdi was not available and as we started for the train station the bus came behind us.  So the owner put me on it and I wrote via the app.  The bus drives very slowly but I got to the station to run back and forth with my bags, then going to a different floor to get a paper ticket, then back to the waiting area, thru the gate, up the stairs, and finally to my sleeper car.  Outside of asking me for my passport and various tickets about 10 times no personnel was particularly helpful tho I was noisily wheezing.  As I was getting off, Another passenger grabbed my bags and ran down the stairs with them and then went back to the train.  Probably someone in the medical field!  Platform smoking and between cars smoking can affect some people.

Il ne fait aucun doute que ce B&B est le plus proche du désert. Nous avons fait quelques recherches au préalable, voyant qu'il y a beaucoup de motos et de lumières dans le désert la nuit, ce qui n'est pas idéal pour les étoiles filantes, nous avons choisi ce B&B. organisé par le magasin pour rester dans le désert voisin. Après avoir assisté au feu de joie, je suis venu ici pour rester. C'est plus intéressant que ce à quoi je m'attendais, et c'est vraiment adapté pour sortir entre amis. C'est mieux que les autres campings. On peut dire que c'est un B&B avec vue sur le sable. Vous pouvez voir la vue sur le sable et le ciel étoilé depuis le lit, et vous pouvez bien dormir la nuit. que les maisons ici disposent de salles de bains privées et de la climatisation. Vous pouvez voir le paysage montagneux du désert lorsque vous ouvrez la fenêtre. C'est génial de s'allonger et de regarder les étoiles la nuit.

來跑馬的，把定的其他的退了，選擇了這個，物有所值，非常完美。因為住滿了所以顯得有點點吵鬧，但靜中有鬧，真的挺不錯的。跑完回來有點晚了，等我收拾完已經超了退房時間，老闆娘姐姐也沒催我，讓我慢慢收拾不着急。我預訂的時候説幫我留下鋪，老闆娘也還記得，太感謝了。如果還來蘭州我優選住在這裏，離黃河樓超級近，出門就是，太好逛了。

Équipements : Entièrement équipé ; connexion internet haut débit. Environnement : Situé à proximité d’une rue commerçante animée, idéal pour se restaurer ; parking gratuit. Service : Service impeccable ; personnel d’accueil jeune et dynamique ; le robot de livraison est très pratique. Propreté : Le personnel de ménage est très consciencieux ; les sanitaires sont également très propres.

Unfortunately my experience wasn't good. Hot water didn't work, it was only warm. I did it in the afternoon anyway but ny boyfriend waited untill 11pm. Elettronic key of our room never worked. We always had to call someone to open our room. About water problem they said there was an issue in all the hotel and they can fix it the next morning. We could not find a standard queen bed room, they have queen room just very expensive and for cheaper price they have only twin rooms. We paied a full amount for the night we staied but we didn't have full 100% service we should receive from the booking. They suggest us a refund to change hotel but it was so late and we are travelling with bicycles, after a ride of 150km we were too tired to move in another location during the dark at 10pm. We just needed a hot shower and a bed to sleep. Finally we received a 100 cny caution back, and the next morning ladies at reception gave us 6 small bottle of water to apologize. I'm really upset about nobody advise us about water issue during check in, so there was still time to move in another accomodation, especially for elettronic key, I can't understand why it's never worked. Be carefull for next booking about rooms at 5th level. I don't know if it's a problem only for foreign people or for everyone. Room price list are very expensive so, I think they have not a bad service. Unfortunately it's the first time during my 32 years happened this, especially during my 27 days in China, all the issue where always well reserved. This time my experience was really stressful, I don't feel like to recommended it and I hope never happen again to other travelers. Thank you anyway.

L'hôtel propose des tentes au quatrième et dernier étage de l'établissement, ce qui n'est pas une mauvaise idées. Cependant les toilettes et la salle de bain se trouvent en bas de l'immeuble, dans une cour pas toujours ouverte, les toilettes ne sont donc pas accessibles en permanence, de plus elles ne possèdent aucun verrou.

Ce B&B très confortable se trouve à quelques minutes à pied de la porte ouest du mont Mingsha. Des activités d'observation des étoiles sont proposées en soirée, ce qui en fait un endroit idéal pour les enfants. La décoration élégante confère une atmosphère chaleureuse, avec des touches de bois naturel et des éléments d'observation des étoiles disséminés dans chaque détail. Fortement recommandé pour tous ceux qui visitent Dunhuang.

This is a very nice hotel right on a pedestrian street lined with food stalls and restaurants. At night mobile food carts get rolled in and positioned along the center of the street adding yet more food choices! In addition to this, just a short walk away is a huge pedestrian shopping street along with an underground shopping complex accessed through street level escallators. Although the hotel is on a pedestrian street it is really just about 3/4 block from a street with vehicle access. This hotel is a bit difficult to find though, because individual street address numbers are difficult to find. The best thing is to look for a huge Hanting Hotel logo on the right side of the pedestrian street as you head up from the traffic street along the river. The sign is blue with a white horse! The entrance to the hotel itself looks more as if you are entering a coffee shop because of the street entrance signage. But power past all the tables for people having coffee, and you can find the hotel front desk at the back. As mentioned before, the hotel is quite close to the Yellow River and just a short walk to the ”Iron Bridge” (AKA Zhongshan Bridge) and all that neighborhood offers! One drawback to the hotel is that to get into the entrance there are some narrow steps. Level entrances are always best! Yet, I would definitely stay in this hotel again! (And when you are in Lanzhou, be sure to try Lanzhou Beef Noodles!)
