Ce que j'ai apprécié : - L'emplacement est idéal, juste à côté de l'entrée de la zone commerciale souterraine de la gare centrale de Taipei. - Le petit-déjeuner est servi à partir de 8h30. - L'accès gratuit à la machine à laver. - Les salles de bain et les autres espaces étaient nettoyés régulièrement. Pour ce prix, je n'ai absolument rien à redire. Merci !

LleavalentiJ’ai séjourné quelques nuits au Fun Inn Taipei. L’auberge est bien située, proche de la station MRT Beimen et du quartier animé de Ximending, ce qui est très pratique pour explorer la ville. Les dortoirs sont propres, les lits confortables avec des rideaux pour un peu d’intimité, et les installations comme les douches ou la laverie sont fonctionnelles. L’espace commun est simple mais suffisant pour se poser ou rencontrer d’autres voyageurs. En revanche, j’ai trouvé que le personnel manquait un peu de chaleur. Ils étaient polis, mais pas particulièrement accueillants ou disponibles pour discuter ou aider, ce qui peut être un peu décevant dans une auberge. Cela dit, pour le prix et l’emplacement, ça reste une option correcte à Taipei si on cherche un endroit pratique et calme pour dormir.

IInvitéLes chambres de cet hôtel se trouvent au 25 e étage de la tour 85, emblématique de Kaohsiung. Cette tour peut surprendre parce qu'elle est en partie abandonnée, on peut être saisi par l'impression de vide que donne l'immense ”palier” au 12e étage comme un hall de gare. Mais ne vous laissez pas désarçonner par les apparences. L'accueil est très amical (réception au 12e), les chambres très confortables, très propres et la vue )de notre chambre en tout cas) est époustouflante (sur l'ensemble du port, la mer au loin). Les accessoires sont peut-être un peu vieillots et le bâtiment est en perte de vitesse, certes, mais grâce à cela on peut jouir de ce luxe (une très grande chambre tout confort au 25e étage d'une tour) pour un prix défiant toute concurrence. Je recommande chaudement !

CClymene LimThoroughly enjoyed my stay at Sun Palm B&B. Have written this review in English, but we communicated with them in Chinese. We stayed at this B&B during the tourism off-peak season (March). Service - Amazing. They were very responsive on Line, and quick to reply. They were also helpful with our requests/questions (e.g. fetching service to and fro airport, car rental service, traffic road conditions in Penghu) and were polite. They also gave some advice on what can or cannot be done (e.g. we wanted to cycle around Penghu, but they advised us saying Penghu was too big to travel on a bicycle). The driver was always punctual when picking us up, and when sending us to the airport. In fact, he was already there, with the car ready, minutes before we were supposed to leave for the airport - we didn't even need to remind them. The lady boss was very friendly - when we first arrived, she asked if we were new to Penghu (it was our first time), and she introduced where to explore in Penghu, and what to eat. She also told us that if we wanted to do water activities, we can approach them, and they can make a check with the centres to see if they are open since it was off-peak season for tourist activities. We also had some extra request regarding the check out timing, and she helped us with it too. Before we arrived, they also tested the car we wanted to rent, and upon finding out that it wasn't working as well, they provided us with another car instead - this is certainly good service. They also cleaned up the room upon request, and re-stocked the fridge with drinks. Food - The breakfast was amazing and fresh (see photos). On the first day we had bread + doughstick + egg with spring onion all in one package. It was delicious. On the second day, we had vermicelli and seafood (e.g. squid, prawns). The seafood was really fresh, and the broth was simple and tasty. Each dish was accompanied by fresh fruits / pastry + drink, which was refreshing. Room - We got the Starry Honeymoon Room. It was very spacious, the room was clean, the amenities were in good condition, and the overall design was aesthetically pleasing. The heart pillow on the bed was a cute addition, and the round bed was big enough for 2 of us. Above the bed there was a window covered with a retractable screen - you can actually look into the sky while lying on the bed, really interesting.  Location - While this B&B is further away from the main city, we didn't feel that affected as they provided airport transfer services. Also, we felt that it being away from the hustle and bustle from the city was actually advantageous, as the B&B's location had a more relaxed, quiet, holiday vibes, which was what we were looking for.  There is a 7-11 around 10 minutes from the B&B, so if you need food etc in the middle of the night, you can get it from there. We rented a car, so travelling to other areas wasn't much of an issue. Overall, I will recommend this B&B to anyone looking to tour Penghu! Am glad to have chosen this B&B for our first ever trip to Penghu :)

NNguyen Do Nha UyenAfter coming back from Taiwan, I suddenly realized I hadn’t posted any photos or written a review about the adorable wooden cabin our family stayed in at Jiufen. Everyone in my family loved this place so much that I had to jot everything down now that I finally have some free time. Most people I know usually stay in Taipei longer and just make a day trip to Jiufen without spending the night. As for me—I’ve lived in Hong Kong for quite a while, so compared to Hong Kong, Taipei didn’t leave much of an impression on me in terms of sights or food. The only thing that truly made me want to visit Taiwan was Jiufen — a sparkling little gem between the mountains and the sea 🏮🌿🌊 Jiufen feels like a dreamy fairytale village with its winding narrow alleys, steep stone stairways, and the warm glow of red lanterns everywhere. Walking around felt like stepping into another world, almost like a scene from a manga — especially for anyone who’s watched Spirited Away. ⸻ ⭐🛖 Review of the wooden cabin called Twilight Forest in Jiufen Just a 5-minute walk from the Old town, this wooden cabin brings together the warm glow of wood and the peaceful feeling of retreating into nature. It has a unique A-frame design, and at night, when the lights turn on, the whole place becomes incredibly cozy — the golden light shining through the windows and the plants around it create a “hideaway from the world” kind of vibe. Inside, the space is open, airy, and tastefully decorated in a rustic style. There’s a small terrace with a swing chair hanging straight from the ceiling — sitting there at night, listening to insects and the wind rustling through the leaves, feels genuinely healing 🙃. 🛁🌿 Highlight: The glass-walled bathroom in the garden This is the standout feature of the cabin. The bathtub is large and comfortable, placed right next to a 180° glass wall looking directly into a lush green garden. Natural daylight pours in, making your daytime bath feel like an outdoor spa surrounded by plants. (There’s also a roller blind if you need privacy) Jiufen is a tiny village perched on a mountain, and it doesn’t have many hotels that offer spacious, comfortable accommodations. That’s why I was so happy to find this wooden cabin. Our family had the most wonderful two-night stay here. If I ever return to Taipei, I would definitely book this place again ❤️

Tteo.boyerIdéalement situé à deux pas de la station de métro Taipei Main Station, l'hôtel est parfait pour explorer la ville sans perdre de temps. Le personnel est très accueillant et m'a aidé à trouver des lieux et des itinéraires en anglais courant. Les espaces communs, situés au sous-sol, sont excellents. L'atmosphère y est très détendue, avec des repose-pieds, des tables, des prises électriques… et même un service de thé et de café en libre-service avec la vaisselle nécessaire. Parfait pour se détendre ou travailler après une journée de visites. Quant aux dortoirs, ils sont impeccables. L'accès aux portes des dortoirs et aux casiers individuels se fait par carte NFC (bien plus simple que la clé traditionnelle requise dans certaines auberges). Les toilettes et les douches sont propres et modernes, avec un espace miroir équipé d'un sèche-cheveux.
