La chambre était propre et confortable, et le personnel était très agréable et confortable. La location est excellente, surtout pour les voyageurs qui traversent le CIQ, avec de nombreux restaurants et boutiques de confort à proximité.

I have stayed at this hotel several times because the rooms are generally comfortable and the location is convenient. Unfortunately, my recent experiences with the front desk service have been disappointing and have affected my overall impression of the property. During my most recent stay, the hotel required a RM50 cash deposit upon check-in. As I did not have sufficient cash on hand, I asked whether a credit card or Touch ’n Go payment could be used instead. The male receptionist working the night shift informed me that neither option was accepted, leaving me with no choice but to provide a RM100 cash deposit. Shortly after I completed my check-in and walked away, I could hear him immediately continuing a personal phone conversation in Mandarin. Although he spoke to me in English throughout our interaction, it appeared that he had been engaged in the call before I arrived. This gave me the impression that guest service was not his priority at that moment. What made this more disappointing was that this was the same receptionist I had encountered during a previous stay. On that occasion, he was handling my check-in but stopped midway to settle payment for his food delivery. I was left waiting while he attended to his personal matter and was not informed or even asked to wait. As a guest, I found this unprofessional, as the check-in process should have taken priority. My check-out experience during this stay was also less than ideal. I had extended my stay by one hour, so the deposit refund needed to be adjusted accordingly. The receptionist handling my check-out asked whether I had RM20 cash so that she could return my RM100 deposit more conveniently. Considering that I had already explained during check-in that I did not have sufficient cash, the request felt more like a matter of staff convenience than guest convenience. Throughout the interaction, her body language gave me the impression that she was reluctant or inconvenienced by the situation. When she handed over the cash, I thanked her, but there was no acknowledgement or response. While the correct amount was eventually returned, the interaction felt cold and unwelcoming, which was disappointing as it was the final impression of my stay. The hotel itself is decent, with clean rooms, comfortable accommodation, and a convenient location. However, the front desk team creates the first and last impression of a hotel, and unfortunately the service I experienced fell short of expectations. I hope management can review these incidents and reinforce the importance of professionalism, attentiveness, and prioritising guests during check-in and check-out.

Hotel location is within walking distance to nearby eatery place which open till late night. Grab taxi can be easily called & reachable even at early hours. Cleanliness is ok & staff is attentive. Facilities are basic, not much of hype. If you looking for just staying 1-2 nights without any expectation, this hotel is good enough.

OK fairly good as usual, v-fast quick check in.. Not much of a fuss, room with window not much of a view though but fair enough spacious nice comfy bed.. Smart TV with lots of channels.. Mall nearby with many eateries surrounding areas are quite peaceful I could say very relaxed feeling & vibe that helps with peaceful sleep. Kudos to the staff of. Lavender inn 👍 I had a pleasant stay.. Sure to be there again someday..

The Deluxe King room is large and comfortable and more space than the standard room. It also has a large toilet/shower. There is no bin the toilet, had to use the one bin in the bedroom. There are some amenities such as toothbrushes and soap but hidden in a small black tray in the corner of the long table below the TV, under the mineral bottles. If room is not bright because the curtains are not fully drawn, you would miss it which happened to my group. We booked 4 rooms and none of us knew there were toothbrushes provided, some of us went out to buy. One of us only discovered the existence of the tray the next day! Also, there are 2 TV controls and no instructions on the back of the controls nor in the room on how to operate the controls; one is for switching tv on/off only and one for controlling channels/sound. Had to approach the counter staff who then came into the room to explain. It would be much more pleasant experience if the counter staff just give a mention about where these things or how to work them at the time we were checking-in, and Before we have to ask. On the Sat night, there was some disco music playing from a distance away where the sound is not audible but the base beat-by-beat vibrations could be felt in the air even though all the windows were shut and locked down, and this went on the WHOLE night and gave me a poor sleep. I was surprised why this happened as I chose this hotel because many reviews from guests say the Milano hotel has good sound-proof rooms. I later discovered gaps in my windows even when they are shut and the gaps are not filled-up/sealed in room 208! Thankfully, the horrible music did not play on the Sunday night. I could put up with the other inconveniences which are minor, but if there were to be sound disturbances throughout the night, having the gaps in the windows was disappointing. Positive side, I like the availability of water to top up our tumbler at the front office area, besides the 2 bottles of mineral water in the room.

KKennyOTMGreat location, but water supply was a real problem Rating: ⭐⭐⭐ (3 stars) Review: Book 2 rooms at Here Hotel Johor Bahru. The location is excellent—right near Sutera Mall with lots of food options around. There are also Karaoke and escape room around the corner. Super convenient for a short trip and Love the nostalgic shophouses vibes!!! However, the water supply was a major issue. The flow was weak and inconsistent, which made showering frustrating. For a hotel room, I expected basic amenities to work properly. Room was otherwise decent and clean, but the water problem really affected the stay. Good for location, but need to manage expectation. But for its price, it is valued for money.

UUtilisateur anonymeWent with 4 kids. House big enough. 3 bedrooms. Master room was big and spacious. With a floor mattress. a king size bed and attached toilet. 2 common bedrooms. 1 room with a king/queen size bed and single size bed. The other room with 1 king/queen size bed. Living room has a sofa bed. Possible for 1 pax to sleep comfortably. Toilet looks old. And master bedroom toilet has an odour. Quite bad. No complains about sound. But heard one or two loud door slams only which i thought is okay because it happens at home as well. The wind, the kids, accidentally. Neighbours seems good. No noise from them and don't even bump into any. But from each room cannot hear each other. Morning around 530am will hear the morning prayers from one of the common bedroom that has 2 beds. The other rooms didnt hear it or perhaps deep asleep. Haha. And another prayer session around 430pm afternoon. Last about 30min. If very tired should be able to fall back to zzz again. My kids did. Towel has a smell. But we don't use as we use to bringing our own towels. I like that there is security counter but not to deposit your luggage prior check in. Anything just ask them and check in is very smooth. Instructions from owner was very clear and direct. Less than 5 min to check in. Early check in allowed at a charge if there's no guest prior. Very nice owners. Reply via whatsapp. And they provided small water bottles and coffee sachets. Quite surprise they do as most, doesn't provides. And a few trash bags .. good! Overall the stay was ok as we only sleep there. No other activities.
