⭐ 5/5 — A Truly Exceptional, Warm-Hearted Stay at Zengcuo’an Village ⭐ I travel often and have experienced many different types of hotels and accommodations over the years. From 25 Nov 2025, I stayed at Hua Cai Xiao Zhu · Florich 民宿 (环岛南路曾厝垵店) for 12 nights, and extended my stay by another 3 nights because it genuinely felt like home. That alone says everything. 😊 From the moment I arrived, the experience was not just comfortable, but deeply warm and reassuring, thanks to the owner and housekeeper who went out of their way to make sure every detail of my stay was taken care of. 🙏 I stayed in the Huacai Balcony Tub Room on the 5th level. I believe this is the only accommodation in Zengcuo'an that has an elevator. The room was very clean, modern, and thoughtfully equipped. The large bathtub and giant HD projector made every evening wonderfully relaxing. The balcony overlooks Zengcuo’an Village and is just 50 metres from the village church. I even enjoyed a beautiful sunrise at around 6:30am right from my room. 🌄 The location is outstanding. It’s about 200 metres from the main entrance of Zengcuo’an Village, surrounded by everything you could possibly need. There are countless eateries nearby, including my personal favourite right in front of the accommodation — 福鼎肉片小吃店, run by the warm and amiable 美金姐, a 56-year-old local lady (highly recommended!). 😋😋 Convenience stores, fashion and accessory shops, souvenir stalls, luggage shops, spas, travel agencies — and even a McDonald’s — are all within easy reach. 👍👍 Several attractions are also within walking distance, including Pearl Public Beach and Music Square. One of the smartest ways to explore Xiamen is the CNY 50 hop-on hop-off sightseeing bus (24 stops), with the bus stop conveniently located right in front of the village on the right side. It’s honestly the most affordable and efficient way to see the city. What truly made this stay exceptional, however, were the people. 👬👭 The owner, 许老板, is incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. He patiently gave directions, recommended places to visit, pointed out nearby essentials like the bank and pharmacy, and even allowed me to store my luggage while I was away for a few days. When I checked out, I was down with a cold — he not only helped with my luggage, but also personally drove me to the airport, making sure I arrived safely. That level of care is rare. 💯💯💯 The housekeeper, 秀容, is equally wonderful. Always smiling, always attentive, she made sure I was comfortable every single day — from providing extra water, tissues, and towels to quietly checking that everything was in order. Her warmth made the entire stay feel effortless and homely. . One last tip: don’t miss the sunset. Walk across the overhead bridge from the village and enjoy the beach scene between 4:30pm and 6:30pm — it’s absolutely unforgettable.🌻🌷 Overall: highly, highly recommended. Hua Cai Xiao Zhu · Florich 民宿 (环岛南路曾厝垵店) is more than just a place to stay, it’s a place where you feel genuinely cared for. Cinq étoiles! Vous êtes très proche de la mer, vous êtes à la baie de la louange, à côté de la baie de Majiang et de la baie de Jinjiang, vous êtes pratique de regarder la mer et la louange! Demandez de monter pour changer de pantalon et de séparer la louange de la séparation sec, et vous voyez qu'il est très important pour la santé. Le quartier public est super grand, il y a beaucoup d'instruments dans le magasin, il est souvent possible de chanter des guitares et de chanter l'atmosphère directement remplie. Je joue aussi avec les amis du magasin, très heureux 🥳 Le patron est super bon, il est honnête et très intéressant. Il y a un table-bars à l'extérieur pour écouter des chansons et un plateau de cartes de pêche est intéressant hahaha 🤣 Le premier étage offre des vêtements gratuits et un endroit spécial pour les vêtements de bain. Il y a aussi un petit chat et deux chiens, chaud et chaud, une expérience de logement superbe!

Il était 2 h 30 à Pyongyang. Lorsque je suis sorti, je suis venu nous chercher à la fameuse cabine. Lorsque je suis arrivé à la chambre, je me suis sentie humiliée. J'ai vu le beau chef de cette personne, le chef de la chambre (00 h), nous préparer le cabinet glacier. Je savais que mon bébé avait encore pris le cabinet du réfrigérateur. (J'ai peur que je ne mange pas trop de glace, je ne suis pas touché), j'ai également préparé des poches de génie humaine, j'ai senti le chaleur que nous avons apporté à la petite épouse, je suis venue nous recommander des points de carte de voyage et des plats de cuisine ici. Donc, nous avons pris la carte de la plage du roi de la tête du dragon aujourd'hui, nous avons mangé des fruits de mer sabres et sabres, nous avons mangé des fruits de mer de maoïs, nous avons également allé au marché de la nuit de la gare ici. Si vous voulez venir à Pyongyang plus tard, cette fameuse fame vaut la peine de recommander

Really grateful for the free airport pickup. Added their number to my wechat and called them using wechat. Was given directions where to be picked up and asked to send a picture of how I look like. waited at the pickup point and even message them at exactly which location I'm at. Received a call later to ask where am I and also messaged me the car plate number. As the pickup point only allow 8mins of wait time, the driver was pretty pissed when I arrived. I mean, couldn't you have sent a picture of the car and the car plate number earlier? Driver was smoking all the way while driving and I'm unfortunately seated behind him, breathing in all his smelly smoke. He opened his window but that didn't help, the wind has kept blowing the smoke into my face. Luckily it was a short drive. I feel that the hotel should educate their drivers not to smoke while driving. This is so selfish. I got upgraded to a bigger room because they wanted me to give a good review. My room has a big window with the street view. Room was clean and nice. Slippers given. Toilet was badly designed. the shower head faces the toilet bowl and the sewage system is not good. After showering, the toilet flooded. I only realised the next morning that there are some buttons that you can switch on for ventilation in the toilet. The toilet was still flooded in the morning but I think if I have known about the buttons earlier, it would have been dried in the morning. The buttons are in chinese characters. Ask for help to decipher them. The room has a projector but nothing was watchable. You need to have accounts to sign on to their various content provider. The hotel is near a small street market with awesome and cheap food. There was also some supermarkets opened late into the night. Cannot expect much from sound proofing as dead into the night, you can still hear food delivery rider delivering their food to occupants. The driver in the morning did not smoke but when I told him that nobody asked me which terminal I'm going to, he insisted that it is impossible for them not to ask. I also cannot be bothered to argue. Why would I sabotage my own departure plans? Suggest that before the driver drives off, stressed which terminal you are going to. Terminal 3 for International flights, Terminal 4 for domestic flights. And they are not close to one another apparently. Otherwise, the bed was quite comfy. The socket above the bedside table is almost falling off the wall.

Le temps est un peu long, je ne peux pas me souvenir de la situation, il devrait toujours être bon, le prix des marchandises devrait être bon marché. Le total est bon, c'est le coût du stationnement coûteux. D'autres semblent bien.

Je n'ai pas grand-chose à dire sur cet hôtel. On a à peine dormi, car on était venus faire la fête en ville. On a pu partir tard et arriver dès midi. C'est le seul point positif !

Surprise, ce prix est trop surprenant pour vivre une chambre si bonne. Le patron dit qu'il a été réparé depuis le nouveau, le prix est trop élevé.

Love the warmth given by the innkeepers. Being invited to join the local culture of tea drinking (or tea sipping) from morning until night is such a fun time for us. We got to chit chat, exchange knowledge and cultures. Love it. Will revisit.
