Hotel is at our stop-overnight location. Good spot for star glazing and watching Northern Lights. Bed is comfortable, very quiet at night. Dinner were good and breakfast is moderate. They allowed us to store our luggage as we arrive early which is very nice.

We love the town and the place itself. Staff are so nice, they make sure that we know all the needed information before arriving that is very useful. Food are delicious and affordable. The room is very clean and warm.

Beachfront resort but I only got a skylight. Even the bathroom had a better view. The room had 2 beds but linens were removed for one since I was a solo traveler and only 1 towel was provided. No shoes policy helped keep the house clean. That is very good. I didn’t use the kitchen much except to make tea but seems like it is in good condition. Dishwashing liquid however was in a glass jar instead of pump. It’s strange cos you end up using too much for a small spoon and the jar is very slippery. Bathrooms were clean. Breakfast was excellent! Hot food along with homemade breads. It was the best breakfast I had in my 2 weeks in Iceland. Location is an hour drive from Egilsstaðir via some mountain pass, gravel roads and along the coast road. The views are breathtaking. But it’s a small town and if you don’t intend to hike around the area then it might not be worth spending so much time getting to and fro your accommodation.

We stayed here in transit for our trip around the ring road. The room was clean and had accommodations for the four of us. The breakfast was a plus and helped us get on with our trip the next day. They have blackout curtains so sleeping wad not an issue. Only detail is we were booked on a half floor were the elevator did not fo directly so we had to go up one floor and then run up some stairs to get to our room.

Hostel pour hébergement**** quand vous passez par l'est de l'Islande. Logement très bien équipé et avec plusieurs zones communes. Chambres propres et confortables. Mal insonorisées, trop bruyant, les chambres donnent la salle de séjour. Peu de douches, les toilettes et les douches sont incorporées dans le plancher en bas, ce qui génère des personnes accumulées.

還是比較寬敞的，有獨立浴室，並且意外收穫是這個酒店離puffin老巢特別近，我們到的時候快晚上10點了，前台小哥特意等我們告訴我們哪裡能看puffin，特別強調晚上這個時間去能看到上千衹puffin，我們毫不猶豫去了，果然，一大堆，可好玩了

C'est l'hôtel le plus cher à tout prix. Il est à environ 10 minutes de route de la ville. La chambre est très propre. Le paysage de la montagne est très beau. Il y a un petit déjeuner. Bien que de nombreux types ne soient pas, il est assez manger. La baignoire et la salle de bains publiques, pas congestionnée, généralement satisfaite

Nice hostel with common shared space and kitchen, next to Nettó supermarket. There is a laundromat next door (at the camping place), used with extra fee. 30 mins drive from the Hengifoss
