Hôtels avec petit déjeuner à Aqaba, Jordanie

Very polite and hospitable frint desk, especially Randa and Carmen. Service from all staff was very good. Only limitations are facilities for young kids. This hotel would suit mostly business travellers or couples.Also of note, is the newly refurbished roof-top bar .overlooking Gulf of Aqaba

We had a very bad experience during check in. Despite explaining that we were very tired & hungry (as it's already almost 8 in the evening), and we just need to check in immediately & have dinner; the staff at the reception denied our confirmed & paid reservation at trip.com. The staff knew that we were very tired, and we even offered to guarantee reservation with our credit card (just so we get the room & can have dinner); but he insisted to keep us waiting until he can get the response from trip.com. After waiting for so long, he said that still no responses from trip.com and he just asked us to wait forever. I got really upset after a long argument with him; and i have to strongly argue with him to give us room & we paid with our credit card for a new reservation. WE NEED A ROOM! I showed him the amount I paid for the Seaview Room charged in USD. (I just realised the next day that he charged me the wrong amount instead of calculating it to USD amount with the correct convertion). So i was charged a wrong amount as I was too tired to check how much he charged me. After a long argument & waiting, he finally gave me the room key; and said sorry for the waiting. They said that they will upgrade the room as an apologies. Just when we were in the room, I found out that they DID NOT upgrade the room. That's exactly the room I booked at trip.com; just I had to pay again with my credit card with a much higher rate! I was to tired to argue with the staff, so I no longer care after calling them saying they didn't upgrade us! This staff didn't even try to change the room; after we said this is not an upgrade. We PAID for this room category at trip.com. Nobody apologies for these so many mistakes from the staffs or management. When we checked out, the manager asked me how was our stay? He was not even aware that WE HAD ISSUES that they denied our paid & confirmed booking! Trip.com finally settled this issue with the hotel, and the hotel returned our overpaid credit card charged. Trip.com apologies a few times, they made many efforts to call us a few times. But the hotel & the management acting as if nothing happened! Is this really how a 5 stars hotel service? Luxury what? They treated us like a homeless person begging for room! So UNACCEPTABLE! I have never experienced staying in a 5 stars hotel with such a BAD service like this! This is the worst in our history of travel! This place must keep their act together! Learn hospitality BETTER! Overall, we were very disappointed, & this place is far from Luxury Collection, it's a CHEAP collection!

Everything was good and ok except that when I arrived to the hotel around 10:00 pm no body was there I had to go next door to the pharmacy to ask if the reception was open or if I had to call someone to check in , the pharmacy employee had to go inside the hotels office to find someone after 15 minutes someone came in

Arrêté pour une nuit. Bon hôtel de plage. Les touristes sont peu nombreux, probablement en raison de la proximité d'Israël. Votre alcool ne peut pas être transporté, ils ont dans l'hôtel. Pour la comparaison - une bouteille de vin de la bouteille dans le magasin coût 12-15 dinar, dans l'hôtel - 60! Vous pouvez accepter, mais seulement si elles ont quelque chose. Oui, c'est bon. Le petit déjeuner est une bonne chose. Le dîner est sorti de la zone de l'hôtel.

Shell Luxury Camp is an idyllic oasis set against an otherwise harsh desert landscape. Waking up to sunrise right outside the camp is genuinely breathtaking. The cosy “shell” accommodation delivers a true five-star experience, with exceptionally comfortable bed linens. Service was prompt, staff were attentive, warm, and professional. Hot water availability is limited to specific time frames and was only lukewarm during winter. To their credit, the front desk did remind guests, which helped manage expectations. Although the camp is relatively new, signs of wear and tear are already visible. Broken floor tiles and damaged toilet fixtures detract from the overall experience and should be addressed promptly to maintain the camp’s luxury positioning. The campsite would benefit from improved upkeep. Contrary to the hotel description, reaching the campsite directly by private car is not always possible, especially when roads are covered with sand. Hotel transfer is required. To avoid miscommunication, where language barriers may exist, it would be helpful for the camp to request guests’ vehicle plate number, colour, and model in advance, in addition to sharing live location. The room rate is undeniably steep, but overall, I had a memorable and luxurious desert stay at Shell Luxury Camp.

Our stay at Shaheen Camp was an incredible experience, even though we were transferred to Hasan Zawaideh Camp due to the low season. Since the camps are next to each other, and likely have the same owners, the transition was seamless, and we were warmly welcomed upon arrival. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. The staff made sure we felt at home, offering delicious tea, traditional dance, and live music, creating a truly immersive Bedouin experience. The variety of tours and activities they provided allowed us to explore the breathtaking landscapes of Wadi Rum in an unforgettable way. The food was outstanding—authentic, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every meal felt like a special occasion, adding to the magic of our stay. The only minor point for improvement was the bed setup, as it was made up of two single beds combined, but honestly, this was such a small detail compared to the overall incredible experience we had. If you’re looking for a welcoming, authentic, and memorable stay in Wadi Rum, I highly recommend Shaheen and Hasan Zawaideh Camp. I would gladly return for another unforgettable adventure!

Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour à l'UFO Luxotel. Il est à noter que l'hôtel ne se trouve pas dans la zone protégée du Wadi Rum, il est donc à environ 5 minutes en voiture de l'entrée principale. L'hôtel a des partenariats avec les Bédouins locaux qui peuvent vous emmener en excursion dans le désert ou à dos de chameau, mais il est préférable de contacter les Bédouins par vous-même. Les tentes bulles sont très agréables, en plastique, équipées d'une douche, d'un lavabo et d'un lit confortable. La tente est climatisée à l'intérieur. À l'extérieur, un hamac et des chaises sont à disposition. La nuit, le temps peut être assez froid dans le désert, nous avons donc apprécié la couverture en fourrure fournie dans la chambre. Il y avait un cours de photographie d'observation des étoiles, mais nous ne nous y sommes pas inscrits. La nourriture était absolument délicieuse, du dîner composé de plats locaux et d'agneau cuit sous terre au buffet du petit-déjeuner. Comme notre tente était assez éloignée de l'entrée, une poussette nous a conduits à notre chambre. Cependant, le jour du départ, après avoir appelé la réception, la poussette a mis un peu plus de temps que prévu. Dans l’ensemble, nous avons apprécié notre séjour dans le désert dans ces tentes de luxe, et le prix était abordable.

Super endroit où séjourner, j'ai aussi fait une visite complète. Le propriétaire était très sympathique et accueillant, je recommande.

We stayed here as a family in a bubble tent during our trip to Wadi Rum, and overall we had a very positive experience. The owner, Eid, was genuinely attentive from the very beginning. Shortly after we made the reservation, he contacted us by email and stayed in touch throughout the process. He truly does his best at every stage to make sure his guests are comfortable and satisfied. We really appreciated that level of care and communication. The location of the camp is beautiful and peaceful. Even though the weather was partly cloudy, we were still able to see the stars at night, which was very special. Dinner was excellent, with a wide variety of dishes. The vegetable options were especially delicious and thoughtfully prepared. We also joined a jeep desert tour, which turned out to be one of the highlights of our stay. Our guide (I unfortunately forgot his name) was friendly and made the experience both enjoyable and comfortable. Traveling with two children, we felt safe, relaxed, and well taken care of throughout our stay. I would happily recommend this camp to other families visiting Wadi Rum.
