Hôtels avec petit déjeuner à Préfecture de Saitama, Japon

4 Senior backpackers in Japan ”stumbled” onto this gem of a Japanese inn next to the Arakawa River. Less than 10 minute walk from the Kami-Nagatoro station and 10 minute walk to Nagatoro Station. We chose location due to proximity to river and start of river boat downstream river ride-sites. We were pleasantly surprised by the hospitality shown throughout our two-day stay. We were late in coming out of the mountains of Gunma prefecture (2 hour plus train ride away) and called the inn to notify and were subsequently told that this was no problem for check-in and supper. Fortunately we made up time lost and got to the inn earlier that expected and enjoyed the serene tree-lined river and men's and women's communal furo (shower/bath also in rooms) with outdoor views before dining. Then...we were overwhelmed by the quality and quantity of the dinner! A real treat to get a 7+ course Japanese meal featuring the specialty vegetables and protein of the region! Upon departure we chose to walk with packs back to Kami-Nagatoro Station, along the river, but the proprietor had the Inn van ready and waiting to take us to the train station. The included breakfast's were also multi-course Japanese style, with regional specialties. Granted, the hotel is somewhat time-worn, probably seeing its zenith in the 80's and 90's but all the facilities were cleaning, usable and safe. All staff went made a great effort to ensure that we were enjoying the locale and the Inn. This location, in our opinion is much more serene and ”touristy” than the main area surrounding Nagatoro station but is only 10 minutes walking from that action. If opportunity arises, we will return. The Saitama Museum of Natural is just across the street but this large and modern facility was not open on our late arrival and on Monday. We left on Tuesday morning, but wanted to visit this place also.

J'ai séjourné dans cet hôtel lors d'un concert à la Saitama Super Arena. Bien que la rue puisse être un peu sombre tard le soir, on peut aller de la salle de concert à l'hôtel presque directement. Autre avantage : pas besoin d'aller jusqu'à la gare, ce qui permet d'éviter rapidement la foule. La supérette de l'hôtel est spacieuse, j'ai donc pu facilement trouver ce dont j'avais besoin. J'avais une vue sur la salle depuis la fenêtre, ce qui m'a permis de rester de bonne humeur même après le concert. La propreté était impeccable. Je reviendrai sans hésiter dans cet hôtel lors de mon prochain concert à la Saitama Super Arena ! (^^)

Typical Toyoko Inn with excellent services! We all know Toyoko Inn got the same room all over Japan. This is no exception. Free coffee until 10am.

L'établissement est idéalement situé à la sortie ouest de la gare d'Omiya, un carrefour majeur pour plusieurs lignes Shinkansen. Les chambres sont d'une propreté impeccable, bien entretenues et très confortables. Un bain en plein air est accessible sur le toit-terrasse, pour un moment de détente assuré. Le quartier environnant fourmille de centres commerciaux et d'options de restauration, offrant toutes les commodités. C'est sans aucun doute l'une des meilleures adresses pour un séjour aux abords de Tokyo.

Highly recommend! We had 2 rooms, one with a private bath, the other was the special room on the 6th floor. The special room appeared to have the original materials and fixtures, which we appreciate. Everything was maintained very well. If I could suggest one thing, it would be having the carpet replaced in the room, as well as in the public spaces. Breakfast had a good variety of western and Japanese foods. The fixed course dinner was exceptional, from the presentation to the taste. One memorable experience for us was the table tennis. Our whole family had such a good time! Last but not least, the service was top-notch. From the moment we stepped in the hotel, Kitabori was there to welcome us and ensured that we had everything we needed. His professionalism and attention to details truly enhanced our stay! We would definitely stay there again.

Je l'utilise toujours à chaque fois que je pars en voyage d'affaires. L'endroit où je dors est toujours propre et bien rangé. La salle de bain n'est pas trop encombrée et vous pouvez l'utiliser à tout moment. J'aurais aimé qu'il y ait plus de sièges inclinables dans l'aire de repos et plus de sièges dans la cabine de télétravail, et les capsules ont tendance à devenir plus chaudes, mais dans l'ensemble, c'est propre et confortable.

Room is tiny, but the bathroom is of a nice size. If you have a suitcase, there would be no space to open it up. I was staying only for a night and luckily only had a backpack. The TV volume is loud even at the minimal. Love the controls on the pad next to the bed. Room is clean, with nice view of the city. Service at check-in was very friendly, but early check-in is not allowed. Sufficient amount of amenities provided, including pyjama. There is a small fridge and safe in the room. Breakfast is provided in a restaurant outside of the hotel (but same building) the spread is small but tasty enough. I would stay again for short work trips to this part of town. Also there is a combini and some restaurants in the same building as the hotel.

L'hôtel n'est pas loin de la gare et vous pouvez marcher jusqu'au sanctuaire Chichibu. Cet hôtel semble être le seul hôtel d'affaires à proximité de la gare Seibu Chichibu. L'hôtel est un peu vieillot, la chambre est assez grande et les placards de la chambre portent des traces du temps. Heureusement, ils sont très bien nettoyés. Il y a pas mal de plats au petit-déjeuner et c'est délicieux😋, mais il y a un peu de monde car il y a beaucoup de monde et il faut attendre. Les oreillers sont un peu bas pour moi et l'hôtel est respectueux de l'environnement donc la climatisation n'est pas très froide.

L'emplacement est exceptionnel, juste à côté de la gare et de la Saitama Super Arena. C'est à deux pas, idéal pour les fans de K-pop. Vous pouvez vous rendre à la salle de concert à votre rythme. Après le concert, inutile de vous entasser dans des trains bondés : l'hôtel est à quelques minutes à pied. Particulièrement recommandé pour les touristes étrangers qui ne connaissent pas la région. Les chambres sont plus grandes et plus confortables que celles du centre de Tokyo. Bien que le personnel de la réception ne parle pas très bien anglais, il s'est montré très serviable pour résoudre les problèmes de réservation.

Hôtel très agréable. Bien qu'il ne soit pas en plein centre de Tokyo, il est très bien desservi. Train direct pour Shibuya, Shinjuku, Ikebukuro, etc. Bonnes commodités à proximité : deux supermarchés (dont un ouvert 24 h/24), Seria (magasin à 100 ¥), etc. Pour ceux qui ont besoin de faire de grosses courses, Uniqlo est juste au rez-de-chaussée, et la pharmacie à proximité est une véritable aubaine avec ses prix défiant toute concurrence, les meilleurs que nous ayons vus à Tokyo. La chambre est petite mais fonctionnelle, et le personnel est aimable et serviable. Nous descendons habituellement à l'hôtel Asakusa Tobu lors de nos séjours au Japon, mais il est devenu trop cher. Je dirais que le Wako Tobu est tout aussi bien. J'y retournerai sans hésiter !
