Mon hôtel de prédilection à Shenyang, et de loin. Tout le personnel est incroyablement chaleureux et courtois (y compris la conciergerie et le personnel d'entretien). Les différentes installations sont très bien pensées et agencées (j'ai particulièrement apprécié la salle de sport). Le salon exécutif est unique et n'a rien à envier aux hôtels les plus luxueux. Mention spéciale au service en chambre, et plus particulièrement à Sarah pour son attention délicate, qui a apporté une touche de fraîcheur et de bien-être lors de ce voyage estival caniculaire. La prochaine fois, je ne manquerai pas de profiter de la piscine. Je reviendrai sans aucun doute !

The (apart)hotel is located steps away from the seaside and 东方水城 with plenty of eateries (but definitely less than what you get if staying at 中山广场 for example - we purposely chose to be close to the seaside here). The staff from bellboy to front desk/ cleaning staff is also eager to please with smiles all around, definitely pleasant interactions. On the downside, there was a heavy smoke smell at the hallway leading to our unit, and upon confirmation with the staff working at the floor during the time, turns out that the person living next door is smoking 🥲 this smell did creep into our unit over time, which led me to request air purifier and open the windows to improve circulation. Also I need to turn *off* ventilation at the bathroom to prevent smoke smell. Luckily, the situation improved during our stay (so I decided against requesting to change units) since the occurrence of smoke smell became less (perhaps the resident checked out/ decided to smoke less?). Anyhow, this did damper our experience. Also to note a service suggestion due to the smell I immediately requested a purifier unit, didn’t realize that there’s already one sitting in the unit. I also requested detergent since washing machine is available in the unit, didn’t realize that it’s readily available inside the bathroom. While the receptionist happily agreed to my request when I called to request the items (upon checking into my room), they could have also just informed me where they are located to avoid the redundant request. Also, perhaps the detergent should be placed visibly/ closer to the washing unit instead of being together with toothbrush etc inside the drawer in the bathroom - just a suggestion. Breakfast offerings while great is also nothing to wow about (one of our main considerations for hotel selection is to look at breakfast pricing listed, which is 198 RMB in this case, which is on the higher end, so we were expecting some kind of a wow factor). Yes, the restaurant is located on the 67th floor offering nice view, but the spread is nothing to rave about - it’s your typical above average breakfast spread with additionally a little seafood selection. During our stay I did come across an offer to purchase breakfast for 108 RMB in one of the platforms, and I think the value is much closer to this rather than 198, so something worth calling out. So all in all, good hotel with great location/ views/ staff - calling out the smoking issue (more of a people problem rather than hotel’s, but I would wish/ expect that indoor smoking should be non existent for 5-star establishments, which isn’t the case here), and secondarily the breakfast value. The shower issue (lower pressure/ time to heat) from other reviews is also real, but not a big deal for us.

Booked 2 rooms on a higher floor to enjoy the city views. Unfortunately there was a noticeable toilet smell in both rooms. Reporting this to the hotel staff we were allocated alternative rooms. They still had a smell but it was less pungent than the others. Having stayed at this hotel a few years ago, its showing signs of tiredness in fixtures, fittings and facilities. We were told the hotel will be refurbished in the year ahead. Breakfast buffet is good with a wide selection of western and Asian cuisines. It gets busy, especially at the weekend. There is a decent sized pool though the changing rooms are in need of refurbishment to bring it up to the standard of other 5 star properties in the city. Room rates are currently low to reflect the hotels current situation, as told by a manager when the room smell was reported. Still a great stay thanks to its location and breakfast offering and the room rates. Look forward to its refurbishment in the future.

Wellness and feel good oasis in Shenyang We combined it with a night in the hotel. Underground parking. The big building is the spa. It’s not easy to miss. The check-in is not in the big Spa Building. Overnighters have to go to the building next door, following the „check-in signs“. There they inform you that: - The day of check in you can use the Spa area until 10 pm. - Day of checkout a delicious breakfast with much variety of cooked and fresh dishes, fruits, juices and coffee and sweets is served from 7-10am. - If you check out before 10 am you can use the Spa area again until 6pm that day. - To enter the Spa area you need to go to the big building. You need to let them know your room number and they need your passport / ID card. - You will get a number for your individual locker. If you are a couple check the ticket with number for sign of female or male. - You take off your shoes, exchange them for slippers they offer and store your shoes in your locker. You get a key you take inside which is for free. - You will be led into gender separated changing areas. - You get a free towel, lounge shirt and shirt pants to change in and sign for it with your key. There is staff to show you how. - Your key shows your number and area in which your individual locker is located in. There is staff to show you how. - Inside you first pass a gender separated area. Here you can be naked. - Then you can leave that area and join the gender mixed area. - It has 4 levels with indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs. - Level 1 has outdoor pools, indoor pools, whirlpools, children’s water park and access to the wave park, which opens 4x a day for half an hour. - Level 2 is more quiet with healthier whirlpool options. - Level 3 has sauna houses for free open until 10pm, a movie theatre, KTV, food area and a children play area all open until 9:30pm. - Level 4 is for private treatments. In winter the outdoor waterpark/slides „the wave“ and terrace pools are closed due to the cold. We were surprised of how relaxing the stay at the Spa was. There is many people but the Spa building is amazingly huge and has many different areas to lay down and corners in which it was very peaceful. Our hotel room „Room Queensize-Bed“ was lovely and the staff very attentive. We ordered ice-cubes, extra water and had pizza delivered to the hotel. All in all, a wonderful experience, which we will repeat.

Excellent hôtel, sans hésitation le meilleur que j’ai fait dans le Dongbei. Il remplit toutes les cases de ce que l’on attend d’un hôtel urbain de très haut niveau : propreté irréprochable, excellente qualité de la nourriture, chambres spacieuses, confortables, bien chauffées et parfaitement adaptées. Les infrastructures sont remarquables : salle de sport fantastique, piscine très agréable, sauna (qui pourrait être légèrement plus chaud). L’emplacement est idéal, tout est facile et fluide. Accueil chaleureux, personnel professionnel et qui parle anglais. Un séjour vraiment parfait.

Maybe i was highly expecting for a hotel lime others Hard Rock Hotel. But this one is just okay. My room is ocean view but its not a private beach for the hotel. Cant swim at the beach. But many activities that you can do on it. The breakfast was great. There are so many selections that i can eat for a Muslim. The room is clean with full amenities. Btw , at night i ordered Fish&Chips & also brownies with icecream.But it so bland. The fries not cooked well & the brownies is not hot & hard. Not recommended. They also have live band at night. The water pressure in the room also low.

C'est ma première fois à Dalian, et j'en suis vraiment impressionné, la ville est magnifique, avec des rues et des allées très propres. Ce qui m'a le plus touché, c'est le personnel de l'hôtel The Castle Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Dalian. Avant même mon arrivée, ils m'ont appelé pour connaître nos préférences et nos besoins spécifiques. Ayant mentionné que je voyageais avec mes parents âgés et mes enfants, ils ont proposé un check-in anticipé. À mon arrivée à l'hôtel, depuis la réception, j'ai été accueilli avec des sourires chaleureux et des voix douces. Sachant que je venais d'une autre ville, ils m'ont donné des conseils sur les meilleurs endroits pour manger et les attractions à visiter. La concierge de l'hôtel était également très attentive et a pu résoudre tous nos problèmes. J'avais réservé une chambre sans petit-déjeuner, mais la concierge a tout de même fait une demande à l'hôtel pour nous offrir le petit-déjeuner, ce qui était une attention incroyable. L'hôtel propose également des séances photo gratuites, ma mère était ravie et le photographe était très professionnel et patient. Un grand merci à tout le personnel du Castle Hotel, vous êtes un exemple pour les hôtels des trois provinces du nord-est et tous les hôtels du pays devraient prendre exemple sur vous. **Équipements :** Très complets. **Propreté :** La chambre était propre et bien rangée. **Environnement :** Magnifique, parfait pour les personnes âgées, les enfants et les couples. **Service :** C'est le meilleur service que j'aie jamais vu, un grand merci au personnel de l'hôtel.

My stay at Swissôtel Shenyang was outstanding from beginning to end. The hotel is beautiful, exceptionally clean, and located in a perfect area with convenient access to transportation, restaurants, and local attractions. The rooms were spacious, quiet, and very comfortable, and the breakfast offered an excellent variety of delicious options. What truly made my stay exceptional was the incredible staff. I would especially like to thank the front desk team, particularly Weixin and Ding, for their warm welcome, professionalism, and outstanding customer service. They were always friendly, patient, and eager to help with any request, making me feel valued from the moment I arrived. A very special thank you also goes to Eric, the Concierge Manager, whose thoughtful and professional service exceeded all expectations. He patiently assisted me during check-in, explained all of the hotel’s facilities, and took the time to learn about my travel plans. When he found out I wanted to explore Shenyang, he recommended authentic local restaurants and attractions and even provided personalized travel suggestions. Eric was always available whenever I had questions. He helped with my luggage, arranged transportation, recommended the best routes, and made sure everything went smoothly throughout my stay. His attention to detail, kindness, and genuine care made me feel completely at home. The dedication and professionalism of Weixin, Ding, Eric, and the entire hotel team truly reflect the high standards of Swissôtel. Their exceptional hospitality made this one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. I will definitely stay at Swissôtel Shenyang again on my next visit, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Shenyang. Voyager avec un enfant a été une expérience formidable. Le centre sportif était fantastique ! Outre une piscine classique, il y avait aussi des jacuzzis, des saunas et des salons, ouverts de 6h à 23h. Mon enfant adore nager et n'a quasiment pas pris de douche dans la chambre, ce qui a rendu le séjour encore plus agréable. Le service pour les enfants était très attentionné, pour tous. Lisa était très sympathique et la réception nous a offert de petits cadeaux à l'arrivée et au départ. La femme de ménage, voyant la présence de l'enfant, nous a spontanément proposé de l'eau supplémentaire pour les deux jours et nous a apporté quatre bouteilles à chaque fois. Nous avons pris le petit-déjeuner au restaurant du rez-de-chaussée et au Shang Palace au premier étage. Ajouter le petit-déjeuner à la réception pour 99 RMB par personne était plus avantageux que de réserver une chambre avec petit-déjeuner inclus. Le petit-déjeuner était plutôt bon, avec des nouilles au bœuf de Lanzhou et une soupe de vermicelles au sang de canard, mais les jus de fruits frais n'étaient pas exceptionnels. Le Shang Palace était excellent ; nous y avons mangé deux fois. La carte est relativement chère, mais le restaurant propose désormais davantage de plats familiaux. Le point fort était le buffet de dim sum, d'un rapport qualité-prix exceptionnel. Après le repas, le chef est même venu nous demander notre avis, ce qui a donné à l'établissement une allure digne d'un cinq étoiles. L'emplacement est idéal, juste à côté des centres commerciaux Furama et New World, et très bien desservi par les transports en commun. J'avais initialement des doutes quant à la vétusté des installations, mais elles étaient en réalité très bien entretenues ; j'ai même vu les moquettes taillées et les ascenseurs nettoyés pendant mon séjour. Il est clair que la concurrence est féroce à Dalian actuellement, et à ce prix hors saison, c'est tout simplement imbattable.

Pullman Dalian is an excellent hotel, especially because of its location. Many great restaurants, a night market, and the Pavilion shopping mall are all within walking distance. There is also a Lawson convenience store nearby that operates 24 hours, which makes it very convenient to buy anything you might need. The staff were also extremely kind and helpful. In particular, a staff member named Cathy who assisted us with check-in and check-out left a very strong impression. During our trip it happened to be our birthday, and Cathy kindly celebrated with us by preparing a cake and even helping us arrange a late check-out. She greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel very comfortable throughout our stay. Since it was our first time visiting Dalian, her kindness helped us enjoy the trip with peace of mind. The housekeeping staff were also very thoughtful. The night before we had a few beers and left the studio area a bit messy, but the room was cleaned and organized perfectly the next day. We really appreciated their effort. In addition, the beer pub located on the B1 floor was also excellent. They had live music performances, and one of the singers even sang a Korean song for us. We were very touched and truly grateful for the experience. Dalian itself seems like a wonderful travel destination, with great food, plenty to see, and very friendly people. If any of my friends plan to visit Dalian, I will definitely recommend staying at Pullman. And if I come back to Dalian again, I will certainly book Pullman again as well.
