Hotel was in a nice location, quiet and peaceful. Amenities were well maintained, but I hope the swimming pool could glass panel could be better maintained. It looks “mouldy” and dirty. Also, the shower door inside the common toilet in the suite I was staying in on the 21st floor would not fully open. The location of the towel rails needs to be changed to avoid any major accidents like the door shattering

Had a wonderful stay at this homestay! The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, with very clear instructions provided before arrival. The customer service team was friendly, responsive, which made the entire experience even more pleasant. The unit itself was clean, cozy, and well-maintained. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, and the space felt comfortable and welcoming from the moment we stepped in. The bed was comfortable, and the overall environment was good, perfect for a short getaway. One of the biggest advantages of this location is its convenience. There are plenty of food and beverage options within walking distance, making it easy to find local food, cafes, and late-night supper spots. KSL Shopping Mall is also nearby, which is great for shopping, dining, and entertainment. Overall, this homestay offers excellent value, comfort, and convenience. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and strategically located place to stay.

The good: comfortable bed, decent cleanliness, working aircon, game console was cool, nice view at #48. The bad: Host expect you to contact them on the day else no sound no pic. Sent a series of pictures and videos, shock to see they asked for deposit and my passport photo as part of their requirements. I’m not comfortable with that. Drivers beware: This unit located at B1-2 is damn troublesome. I had to park outside the gantry and walked all the way to the end of the building (approx 200m one way) to get the card. The guard weren’t familiar with such arrangement had to call another guard over to assist in order to let me into the mailroom to retrieve the access card. After that had to walk all the way back again to the entrance. When I drove to the gantry, the access card didn’t work, guard had to come over again to assist. End up found out it’s because the previous user did not “tap out” so we can’t “tap in”. The wayfinding in the carpark is worse ever. Don’t know where to go up, don’t know where to exit. Turn round and round the entire carpark to find and realised it’s in the middle of nowhere. Now for the accommodation itself, it’s decent. Towels were provided. No toothbrush provided but 8 combs provided instead (pic). The cups were damn disgusting (pic). Overall will not return as the carpark and checkin experience was really a huge turnoff.

Wonderful hotel near to Johor Bahru Customs. The rooms size is very good and the bathroom shower is excellent. The staff were very polite and helpful. The swimming pool and children’s pool is very nice. The Gym size is good too. The breakfast spread is excellent. The hotel is linked to SKS shopping mall.

L'état général est bon ; tout a répondu à mes attentes pour une chambre d'hôtel standard. Il y a cependant une chose qui ne me satisfait pas : j'ai réservé une chambre pour trois adultes, mais les équipements fournis ne sont que pour deux personnes (deux paires de chaussons, deux brosses à dents, deux serviettes, etc.). Il n'y a pas de numéro de téléphone pour appeler la réception, je suis donc descendu personnellement pour les informer de la situation. Le personnel a promis d'envoyer les objets manquants dans notre chambre plus tard, mais personne n'est venu du tout.

We had a wonderful stay at Anantara Resort & Villas Desaru. The resort is beautifully designed, with a relaxing atmosphere and stunning surroundings. The staff were warm, attentive, and made the experience even more enjoyable. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the facilities were well maintained. It’s a perfect getaway for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy a peaceful beachside escape. Highly recommended!

Our recent stay was unfortunately a disappointing experience, especially as it was meant to be a birthday celebration. The check-in process was poorly handled from the start. We arrived at 2:00 PM and were informed that our room was not ready, with a promise that we would be contacted once it became available. We then went for lunch at Kedidi Restaurant and returned to the lobby at around 3:30 PM, only to find a long queue at the check-in counter. To our surprise, guests who had arrived later than us were already being assigned rooms. We had to queue again, only to be told that our room was still not ready because it was being decorated for the birthday celebration we had requested. In the end, the delay of more than two hours resulted in a room setup consisting of just two balloons and a birthday message on the mirror, which was far below expectations and certainly not reflective of Westin standards. To make matters worse, when we asked about hotel facilities and available activities, the staff responded reluctantly and said they were only briefing guests upon request because the hotel was fully occupied. This was disappointing and did not feel in line with the level of hospitality one would expect. The room itself also showed signs of poor maintenance, with wallpaper peeling off in several areas. Dining experiences were equally underwhelming. At Prego, despite making a reservation one week in advance, we were initially seated at what was arguably the worst table in the restaurant—right above a generator, causing the table to vibrate throughout the meal. We only managed to change tables after waiting for another party to finish dinner. This was unacceptable, especially for a special occasion. The restaurant’s decor and overall condition also felt dated and basic, making the fine-dining pricing difficult to justify. Breakfast the next morning was another letdown. The air-conditioned breakfast area was far too small to accommodate the number of guests, seemingly fitting only 30–40% of the hotel’s occupancy. Temporary booths had been set up outside to manage the overflow, which made the overall breakfast experience feel chaotic and below standard. Overall, this was a very poor experience and certainly not the level of service, comfort, or quality expected from a Westin property.

La tranquillité et la sérénité sont appréciées. Espace avec intimité. Bon pour la famille avec les enfants. Le prix vient avec les attentes. La diffusion du petit déjeuner est acceptable mais ne vous attendez pas 5-star. Situé dans 2 deluxe avec chambre de connexion pour la famille pour 4.

Enjoyed the trip alot. Arrived at hardrock hotel with a puncture tyre. Staff manager helped to contact tyre repair man and they arrived within 30min to repair the tyre for RM60. My kids and I enjoyed the stay. Waterpark is good but the highlight will be the beach which is abt 400m. Beach is clean n sea is clear. Kids enjoyed being in seawater and catching hermit crabs. Carpark process is fast and easy to use.
