Excellent Stay and Warm Hospitality at Mercure Kathmandu This was my first time visiting Kathmandu, and Mercure Kathmandu truly left a wonderful impression. From the moment we arrived, the service and hospitality stood out. A special mention to Paras, who picked us up from the airport and helped us with check-in. He was exceptionally kind and professional, and even shared some very useful information about getting around Kathmandu — which really helped us make the most of our trip. We had booked a room with breakfast for only one person, but the hotel kindly extended complimentary breakfast for both of us — a gesture we truly appreciated. The room itself was awesome — clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The toiletries were complete, even including a razor and shaving cream, which was a nice touch. Overall, the staff throughout our stay were consistently helpful and friendly, making us feel very welcome. Highly recommend Mercure Kathmandu to anyone visiting the city — great service, comfort, and warm hospitality all around!

Everything was very good. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was abundant, and the restaurant was very good. The staff were extremely kind, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything. The only downside — and I’m sorry to say this — is the nightclub next door, which made it difficult for me to sleep. Every night, the music went on from the evening until five in the morning. The hotel management should consider taking action regarding the nightclub, as it significantly affects guests’ ability to rest.

Hotel Country Villa was a great stay with some disappointments. The location is perfect with a great view from all around the hotel. The service and staff were great all around with some exceptions. I booked 3 rooms for a total of 5 people with non non-refundable plan but due to a decrease in the number of people from 5 to 4, the hotel agreed to cancel 1 room for free for us. Although the process took some time and some pushing from Trip.com agent I am grateful for the free cancellation. One of the rooms I booked, the Junior Suite was for my partner and me for a short honeymoon kind of stay. The room was well designed and had great views but the in-room Jacuzzi needs maintenance. The outdoor pool and Jacuzzi were also great and the pool staff let us use them more than the closing time. The disappointing part of the stay was during breakfast. The buffet was amazing but the glass I used for juice had lipstick stains which I noticed after drinking from it. I am a male who doesn't use lipstick so it was clearly not mine. When I complained to a staff member who seemed to be a supervisor of some sort, instead of an apology, he laughed and asked us ”Are you sure that it's not yours?” After that, he took the glass away and brought a new glass of juice but the juice was different from the one I was drinking. We were completely shocked by this as it was not a rookie staff that did this but rather a supervisor. Overall, we are satisfied with the whole stay but the lipstick on the glass has left a bad aftertaste.

Nous avons passé huit jours à Katmandou et nous nous sommes sentis très à l'aise et choyés. Les chambres étaient joliment aménagées et de taille convenable. Le lit et la literie étaient confortables et la décoration moderne et de bon goût. Tout le personnel était aimable et serviable, et toujours prêt à nous aider pour tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Dipesh, le barista, nous préparait un délicieux café chaque matin et nous a recommandé un massage ayurvédique à proximité, en nous aidant même à réserver. C'était un massage exceptionnel. Le soir, Bijay, le barman, nous concoctait des cocktails remarquables et nous a servis avec une grande gentillesse. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

Les installations environnementales sont magnifiques, la piscine dispose d'un restaurant d'hôtel La chambre est très grande et la terrasse est ouverte. Et vous pouvez regarder à distance les montagnes  Un petit déjeuner gratuit et de nombreuses options Il y a des fruits de bienvenue gratuits à la fin du moisson. Il y a un personnel qui envoie le couloir gratuit à la chambre. Le serveur va continuer à aider à faire la bagage dans la chambre. Le service est très bon en général.

Le restaurant est très confortable et très confortable. Le personnel du bureau de réception n'était pas très familiarisé avec son travail. 1. Je ne trouve pas ma réservation. 2. Mal calculé le nombre de nuits à séjourner 3. N'avait pas réalisé que la chambre était prépayée et allait être facturée à nouveau. Mais il a reconnu ses erreurs.

It was a lovely stay at The Terraces. The view to the Kathmandu valley was stunning and the mountain view during the clearer skies were worth it. The service was tiptop and everyone was so kind and helpful. The FnB Manger Suman has very friendly and do not hesitate to go extra miles to provide the best service. We will certainly be back to The Terraces when we are travelling to Nepal again.

Nous savions que le service serait bon dès que nous nous réservions, et dans les heures nous avons reçu un courriel de bienvenue, en indiquant les moyens de les contacter si nous le devions. Sur la prise en charge de l'aéroport, ils étaient rapides et efficaces et le taxi nous a pris seulement 20 minutes avec le trafic. L'hôtel était un ancien palais, mais il nous a été fait un coup de fouet. Les artifices et les images historiques ont été écrasés par les halls et l'extérieur n'a fait que correspondre à la perfection royale. Nous avons séjourné dans la suite royale, avec un grand lit et un balcon. Le personnel était très bien, le petit déjeuner était standard pour les heures de pointe et bien que l'emplacement n'est pas dans la profondeur de Thamel, la zone la plus sortante pour manger et boire, il était dans 30 minutes de marche de la plupart des marques et comme il était l'ambassade/ La zone de travail du bureau, il y avait une belle vibe. Il y a quelques choses qui ne peuvent être contrôlées. La pollution était réelle. Tout d'abord quand vous marchez plus près des rues, quelque chose à penser si vous êtes sensible à cela. En dehors de cela, tout était vraiment merveilleux. Niraj Yadav le récepteur et l'équipe, nous vous remercions chaleureusement.

Nice Old Hotel, Great Staff with few needs to improve. Swimming pool is totally disappointment. Better to shut down, than keep running and not swimmable, waist of energy. The water is dirty, no star at all. The lobby, the room and Ghurka bar are still great. 2 power shutdowns in 1 day, I believe they are struggling with power shortages due to dark lounges. Breakfast was so so, coffee or tea should be not a challenge to serve first, sometimes took half of meal before they come. Many Tables are not stable and aligned, egg can easily roll over to other side. Atleast 3 tables on my experience. Room is comfortable, nice bed and always fresh linen. Only noisy from AC , maintenance team came twice on my room to fix, though transfer was offered on my last 2 days. Managers should not standing in buffet line, either they should help the line staffs or directing the team, talking business in public is not of our guests concern. Front desk Trainee, has good presence, I thought first he is manager. A lot can be improved and polished, the hotel has a great potential, nice design, great facilities and great staffs. I wish that management should look all themselves and review those small details.

I stayed at Hyatt Centric Kathmandu and was pleasantly surprised — the room was actually better than in the photos! Spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, with stunning views of the mountains, the city, and even the Monkey Temple. Definitely a highlight of the stay. The rooftop pool was decent, not too crowded and with a nice ambiance. I also ordered room service once — the food was just okay, and the breakfast was a bit underwhelming, especially for a Hyatt. The selection was quite limited for this brand's usual standard. One downside was my arrival experience. I came down from a taxi and noticed there were no bellboys or concierge staff outside to help with my luggage — maybe due to a staff shortage? Only once I approached the lobby did a staff member assist me and take my bags to the room. Thankfully, check-in itself was smooth and fast, and I appreciated being allowed to enter my room before the standard 2 PM check-in time. The welcome drink was also a nice touch. All in all, the room and view were excellent — probably the best part of this Hyatt. Just a bit more attention to guest arrival and food variety would make the experience even better.
