Hotel is nice. Location is good, few steps from the beach front. Rooms are clean but may need to upgrade as some facilities are quite old. When you use the faucet in the room, it is too loud. Friendly staffs. Overall it is a good stay and will certainly come back.

Location is pretty nice, close enough to airport. A bit noisy at night, clubs all around the hotel could hear some music but not crazy. Our room has a small family size of fridge, which is awesome! The weather in Philippine really need a lot of ice water to cool down. (However the fridge runs loud, with water dripping sounds too, we were okay for that) Staff were amazing, always helpful and cheerful! Overall, very good!

I chose this hotel as one of the amenities mentioned a sauna. Apparently, they don't have a sauna amenity-- but a room that has a sauna. That is awfully misleading. As soon as we checked in, I was already disappointed. While it is new and recently renovated, I find the various elements of the room overdesigned and not very user-friendly. The peephole on the door was too high for either of us to reach. It also didn't have a cover (security risk). It might’ve been 6 feet. The chair and desk was not very ergonomic, the table was too high and the chair low. I dunno, seems like they designed the room for big people and I’m just a hobbit in a human world. The tables’ glass tops easily slides off because it doesn't have rubber feet to keep it in place. The sliding doors of the closet could easily overlap that it’d be hard to pull them to close properly. The bathroom door was unnecessarily huge. The bathtub setup is not very accessible, it’s setup way too high that you literally need a foot stool (that they have ready) to climb on. Needing a footstool and a handle is very accident-prone (the room we got was not senior/PWD-friendly, or even for someone with injuries). Even as an able-bodied person, it feel like one wrong slip on the stool can have disastrous consequences. The tub drain can easily be stepped on and then it closes, weird. The staff were nice and friendly but it was odd that they didn’t seem too aware about various hotel policies and rules or even amenities when asked about: whether the sauna was an amenity, if asking for a bottled water was paid, if getting something printed at the front desk would be paid, or when the lights would turn on when the power went out. Speaking of the power going out, it took more than 5 minutes, perhaps even up to 10, for the generator to kick in or maybe it was the actual power coming back already--not sure. But there was absolutely no care to its customers about the power outage that we were just in the room waiting for the lights to come on… It was never spoken about when we checked out the next day. No one checked on us after the lights came back on either. We had to find the number to call the front desk as the phone needs power to work and the number on the keycard doesn't work. Only one guy in the restaurant seemed to be on top of things during breakfast. Also seemed like they used powdered pineapple juice. But hey, the bed was really comfy, everything was new and clean. The room was also spacious.

Même si je suis arrivé à l'hôtel vers 16 heures, j'ai dû attendre plus de 20 minutes pour m'enregistrer. Même si j'avais demandé une vue sur la ville, j'avais l'impression qu'ils m'avaient simplement donné une chambre au hasard. Même si j'avais payé les repas, la réception m'a dit que les repas n'étaient pas inclus. Après avoir nettoyé la chambre, je retourne me plaindre de diverses choses. Comment serai-je indemnisé ? Je n'ai pas dit que je cherchais une compensation, donc je n'ai reçu aucune compensation, et ce n'est de toute façon pas un hôtel très agréable.

Absolument un coup de cœur ! Un voyage dans le temps absolument époustouflant ! Flâner dans les rues pavées de Las Casas, c'est comme se retrouver transporté aux Philippines du XVIIIe siècle. Le souci du détail dans la restauration des maisons est remarquable. Nous recommandons vivement la visite guidée du patrimoine ; les guides sont incroyablement compétents et donnent vie à l'histoire de chaque maison. Le coucher de soleil sur la plage et le spectacle culturel ont été la conclusion parfaite de cette journée. Un incontournable pour tous les amoureux du patrimoine philippin. Nous y avons passé une nuit et nous reviendrons très bientôt. Merci Las Casas ! 💙

Only negative impression was with the breakfast buffet. Got free parking, but it's just hidden. If you have a car, it's a great place to stay. However, for backpackers on the go, it might not be the best option. The front desk staff are friendly, and the rooms were fantastically clean. My only negative impression was with the breakfast buffet. Since we came up at 9:30 onwards, the buffet line wasn't refilled, mentioning that we came up late. I understand that for two people, there's no need to refill, but at least offer food that's sufficient for two people, as we also paid for the full package. The coffee wasn't hot, and the creamer just floated on it. Good thing there was an à la minute egg counter.

Le centre de la ville est très confortable et très confortable. Le restaurant a été très terrible. J'ai acheté un paquet de naissance qui n'était pas établi, même si j'ai passé des jours à discuter par courriel avec le personnel de l'hôtel (3 personnes m'ont en fait envoyé un courriel pour élaborer les arrangements). Le personnel de l'hôtel, quand vous avez appelé de la chambre n'a jamais été pris, dans la chambre à manger n'a pas été pris. J'ai acheté une chambre qui avait 3 petits-déjeuners par jour inclus. Lorsqu'ils ont vérifié que j'avais seulement 2. Je leur ai montré la confirmation sur l'application Trip. Le gestionnaire a continué à argumenter/sémblait annoncé et m'a dit de m'adresser plus tard parce qu'il était tard. Je n'ai pas choisi de le ignorer parce qu'ils avaient déjà détruit le paquet de naissance et que je me suis ennuyé, mais c'est juste le niveau d'organisation et de gestion de cet hôtel. Globalement, ce lieu nécessite une révision de la gestion parce qu'il n'est pas très organisé ni semble leur préoccuper des petites choses comme le bienvenu et la joie.

Il avait un petit problème avec notre chambre mais le bureau frontal ( Sir JP ) était si gentil pour résoudre le problème et comme d'habitude le personnel est si gentil et professionnel, surtout au restaurant. J'espère que les suites de segara rénoveront et rénoveront les chambres, car il faut une grande mise à niveau sur tout.

Review of La Jolla Resort (April 17–19, 2025) ⭐️⭐️⭐️☆☆ (3/5) We stayed at La Jolla Resort during Holy Week (April 17–19, 2025), and while there were definite highlights, a few issues kept it from being a five-star experience. What we liked: - The food was excellent—everything we tried was delicious and well-prepared. - The resort grounds and our room were clean and well-maintained, which made for a relaxing atmosphere. - Staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist. - We appreciated the Holy Week activities, which added a nice, thoughtful touch to the overall stay. What could be improved: - The shuttle service was extremely disappointing. Delays were poorly communicated and ended up making us late for an important commitment. - After check-out, we hosted some guests for lunch, but we were only allowed access to the day tour area, which felt like a downgrade—especially after being paying guests. A bit more flexibility here would’ve gone a long way. - Our bathroom had some plumbing issues, which was inconvenient and not what we expected given the overall cleanliness of the room. La Jolla definitely has its strong points—particularly the food and staff—but the logistical hiccups and lack of guest accommodation after check-out need to be addressed to deliver a truly premium experience.

This was our first booking at Widus, and it definitely left us wanting to come back for more. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable, comfortable, and memorable. The staff were very helpful, friendly, and approachable, making us feel welcomed throughout our stay.🤍
