Great hotel! Stayed for 1 night to give the hotel a try. Was pretty satisfied so we went back for another night after our island trip. Service was superb, from reception, bellboys and breakfast attendants. Breakfast tasted good, and there were various dishes to choose from.

Location is good as it is near the airport and the city. Breakfast buffet is superb! Pools are big and clean. Staffs are helpful. Good and fast internet connection. My only prob is that TV is useless. No cable, not installed with netflix or internet. So no entertainment if you’re in room. But overall, its a really nice hotel and affordable.

We recently stayed at Discovery Samal, and overall, it was a very enjoyable and relaxing experience.
The resort itself is beautiful—clean, modern, and well-maintained. We really loved our room and the amenities; everything felt comfortable and high-quality. The beach and pool areas are also great for unwinding.
That said, there are a few things to note. It was very hot during the daytime, and even the reception area (with fans only) felt quite warm.
We first went to Malabar Lounge for drinks while waiting, and later tried the billiards to pass the time. We went back to the reception twice to follow up, but the room still wasn’t ready. We understood since check-in is at 3 PM, but we were told they would call once it was ready—and we didn’t receive any call. It might be because the signal is weak in some areas (there’s no signal inside the billiard room).
If we hadn’t gone back to the reception at 3 PM, we honestly wouldn’t know what time we would have been allowed to check in. The check-in process itself also took a bit long, and we were only settled into our room around 3:30 PM.
Also, since it’s a luxury hotel, food and drinks are expectedly on the expensive side.
Despite these, we still had a great stay. The place is perfect for relaxing, and we truly enjoyed the experience overall. We’d still love to come back—maybe next time with family.

À notre arrivée, nous avons eu un problème avec notre chambre. Elle paraissait très vieille et démodée, la climatisation ne fonctionnait pas et le Wi-Fi était inexistant. J'ai déposé une réclamation le lendemain matin à 8h. Il a fallu attendre deux soirs de suite pour que le problème soit résolu et qu'on nous propose une autre chambre. Cette nouvelle chambre était exceptionnelle. La climatisation fonctionnait. Elle était moderne, plus jolie et moins étroite que la précédente. On pouvait accéder au lit facilement des deux côtés, contrairement à l'autre chambre où le lit était collé au mur. Cette nouvelle chambre était donc bien plus agréable. Le seul bémol de l'hôtel était le Wi-Fi, extrêmement mauvais, voire inexistant. Mais c'était le seul problème que nous avons rencontré durant notre séjour. Tout le reste était parfait, de la propreté au personnel. Le petit-déjeuner buffet était correct, même s'il manquait de choix pour les palais occidentaux. Pour un Philippin, c'était suffisant.

It was an amazing stay in Dusit Thani. Their breakfast have good variety everyday. If you request for bacon they will make one for you. The staff are very accomodating and i like how they greet the guests all the time. The spa is amazing very relaxing and the gym is clean and open 24/7. Pool is nice. We got the nice view from the 5th floor. Everyone is super mabait and amazing from the guards to reception, to staff and housekeeping. Will recommend this hotel to my friends who will visit Davao

I had a really pleasant stay at the Park Inn by Radisson. As a solo traveler, I felt safe, comfortable, and well taken care of. The room was clean, modern, and surprisingly spacious, and the bed was very comfortable after a long day out. The staff were friendly and always ready to help, and the breakfast had a nice variety. The location was convenient for getting around, which made exploring the area easy. Overall, a smooth and satisfying stay—would definitely return!

There is no microwave to heat food.
You can’t bring pomelo to your room due to sanitary policies.

IInvitéI had a wonderful 4-day stay at Acacia Hotel Davao, and it truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcomed with their warm hospitality and attentive service. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a long day.
The hotel facilities were well-maintained, and everything felt organized and guest-friendly. I especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The food was also excellent, with a good variety of choices that catered to different tastes.
Overall, my experience was outstanding, and I would definitely give Acacia Hotel Davao a 5-star rating. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Davao who’s looking for comfort, great service, and a memorable stay.

IInvitéIf you are early before 2pm they won't allow you to enter the hotel. we tried to enter 3 times because we arrived early but they are strict to follow their check in time. good location because it is near the mall and other places to visit. they need to improve their customer service. My kids are excited for the swimming pool because they see it on the post of the hotel that they have it but when we ask for where the pool is to go for swimming they say it's not available and said under maintenance. We don't know if they don't like us to use it because we saw the pool and it's ok. They are disappointed. Check in again probably not? maybe if they improve their service. Need to maintain also the facilities and amenities.

IInvitéWe booked the honeymoon suite thinking we can use the jacuzzi but upon check-in, the jacuzzi was not even cleaned and not ready for use. The room was so spacious though, it can accomodate 4 people.
