I am how genuinely happy my recent stay was at The Loom. From the moment I arrived, everything felt thoughtful, welcoming, and exceptionally well-run. Check-in was smooth and professional, and the front desk team immediately set the tone—warm, efficient, and genuinely hospitable. After a long day of travel, it was refreshing to be greeted by people who clearly care about guest experience.  Throughout my stay, every interaction felt consistent: friendly, attentive, and proactive without being intrusive. Whether it was a quick question, a request, or simply passing staff in the hallway, the level of professionalism and kindness was noticeable. It’s rare to see that kind of consistency across an entire team, and it made the stay feel effortless. My room was spotless, quiet, and extremely comfortable. The bed and linens were excellent, and I slept better than I expected. I also appreciated the small details—well-maintained amenities, a clean bathroom, strong water pressure, and a layout that felt functional and relaxing. It’s clear that housekeeping takes pride in their work.Fully maintained and had a calm, polished feel. Common areas were clean and inviting, and the overall atmosphere felt both upscale and comfortable. I also appreciated how safe and organized everything felt, especially during busy periods. The breakfast/restaurant experience was excellent—fresh, well-presented, and a great start to the day. The service was just as strong as the rest of the property.The location was also a major plus—convenient and easy to navigate, with everything I needed close by. It made the entire trip smoother. Overall, this was one of the better hotel experiences I’ve had in a long time. Thank you for delivering a stay that felt genuinely high-quality from start to finish. I’ll absolutely be returning the next time I’m in Providence

Pros: The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Complimentary tea and coffee were a nice touch. The breakfast was delicious, and interestingly, it worked like a regular restaurant where you get a bill and hand over the voucher you received at check-in. The location was great. Cons: They said construction noise would only continue until 5 PM, but I heard several loud, machine-like noises well past 8 PM. I almost asked to change rooms, but the noise eventually died down so I let it go. Also, there were two bottles of water in the room, but unless you’re a Hilton Silver member or above, they charge $3 each. If I had other options, I probably wouldn’t stay here again.

La chambre est large, l'environnement est magnifique, c'est que le bruit de l'air conditionné est un peu grand, mais de nombreux hôtels aux États-Unis ont un problème. Parce que l'hôtel est arrivé après le long voyage à midi, j'ai appelé la réception préalablement et j'ai promis de rester préalablement. C'est super!

The a/c in the room was not working, and I had to get ready for an event. It was in the 80's that day and room located on top floor so very hot. Maintenance did come and fix, but it took quite some time for it to kick in and cool the room down. That night when I got back, I turned the tv on. Apparently remote batteries died, and I could not change channel or turn tv back off. Had to call maintenance again around midnight. They had to go behind tv to turn it off (tv was hung on wall and I was not able to reach the plug to do it myself). There is NO water pressure; my daughter did not wash her hair for the 2 nights we were there because it would have taken forever. I also rented a second room for my son and his wife; they arrived from out of state to also get ready for an event, and their room had no outlets that worked. They too had to call maintenance so they could get ready. They were late for the event. The hotel is not located in the downtown location, so do not expect to walk anywhere except the casino which is across the street. Very overpriced.

The hotel was very clean, super nice rooms, comfortable mattresses. The beds are VERY high so a step stool would be so helpful for getting in and out. Just something you could slide beneath the bed. Also there were no spoons or stirrers or napkins, if you wanted to make coffee in the handy kitchenette area. And it would be very nice to have at least one comfortable chair in the room if you want to sit with a cup of tea or coffee - otherwise you have to climb up and sit on the bed, or on the not-so-comfortable, but handy, bench at the foot of the bed.

Very good service, helpful staff. Only issue to report strong ******** odor and smoke on our floor in a 100% non smoking hotel

D'abord, l'hôtel offre un transbordeur vers la ville, bien que très proche, mais il est difficile de garer. Le chauffeur de l'hôtel est très enthousiaste en service et le restaurant Hemingway recommandé est très bon. L'hôtel a répété les frais de chambre lors de son séjour. Lorsqu'il s'est retiré, il a trouvé et négocié, mais il n'a pas encore été retourné. Après avoir contacté Trip.com, il a été loué à Trip.com.

Amusez-vous bien à l'hôtel Viking. Personnel très aimable. La nourriture était très bonne. Chambre très propre. Seul le bas était le service de la mairie est tous les jours. Pour ce que vous payez, vous attendez chaque jour le service.

Nous avons été déçus de notre séjour. Lorsque nous avons réservé, nous avons spécifiquement sélectionné ”vue sur l'eau” et la chambre était annoncée comme ayant 2 lits ”queen”. Même si les deux étaient peut-être techniquement vrais, nous nous sommes certainement sentis arnaqués. La vue que nous avions était en fait dans l'atrium où l'on pouvait techniquement voir l'eau à travers une fenêtre tout au long de l'atrium - à quelques centaines de mètres. Les lits étaient peut-être plus grands que pleins, mais mesuraient au moins 6 ”de moins qu'une reine typique de 60” de large. Comme nous avons payé un supplément pour la vue, nous n'avons pas eu l'impression que cela valait le prix. La chambre hors de ce contexte était agréable, mais il n'y avait pas d'eau en bouteille ou de café complémentaire et au moment du départ, on nous a dit que c'était dû à Covid d'une manière ou d'une autre, ce qui n'avait aucun sens pour nous. Les murs étaient également assez fins et j'avais l'impression que quelqu'un tirait la chasse d'eau juste à côté de moi pendant que j'étais au lit. Dans l'ensemble, c'était propre et le personnel était sympathique mais ce n'était pas ce à quoi nous nous attendions pour 700 $ la nuit.

Nice location with tons of restaurants around. Stylish design and pretty new. Bed is also good. Would stay here again and recommend to anyone who is planning to visit Newport.
