The City Hotel, Thimphu is a modern, boutique hotel centrally located in Thimphu's modest CBD. The rooms were spacious and clean, and all utilities (hot water, AC, lifts, Wifi) worked well. The king bed was comfortable and the linen clean and new. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served in a modern dining room that also had an appealing balcony with seating. There were 6-8 dishes on offer which included traditional Bhutanese and Indian cuisine. We found the food delicious. There is reserved space outside for tour vehicles to park. The room had a security box which was great for cameras etc, but too small for my laptop. We would definitely stay here again.

Location is not near town however it’s near attraction. Nice room, breakfast is ok, staff are very nice. Would stay again.

L'espace seren, propre mais daté, ma chambre avait une vue sur la montagne, était très agréable quand le soleil se levait.

L'hôtel est un meilleur hôtel local ～ mais le gestionnaire a été difficile à gérer ～ Dans le cas de l'hébergement, le type de chambre a été bloqué et fourni à l'hôtel n'est pas conforme ～ À la réception de l'hôtel, il a attendu trois heures, et un personnel de service a été remplacé pour traiter ～ . Mais le spa de l'hôtel est très confortable ～ Vous pouvez vous assurer.

The view from the room is mesmerizing. Food is very good. The hotel staffs are very well behaved and polite. We booked for breakfast and diner. The manager would everyday ask if we are having any problem with the food or do we need any other kind of foods. A monastery is located very near to hotel and every day early in the morning we would hear the sound of bells. We had a direct view of buddha point from our room.
