Awesome location for our get together 😊 Such a great night of celebrating and even better service. Your night duty manager was most accomodating and even helped us out when we couldn't get back into the building in the early hours of the morning 🤩 That is what you call commitment 👌🏾 Fa'afetai Wimberrley Payumo - YOU ARE THE BEST!!! Definitely come back again and the room was amazing! Exactly what we wanted and needed 😊

Friendly accomodating staff. Nice clean bathrooms and dorm rooms. Comfy beds. Great location for getting out and enjoying Wellington and excellently located for the night life. The common areas were lively on a Saturday night, and I’m sure it’d be easy to find some new friends to party with. This place is easy to recommend.

L'hôtel ne propose pas de petit déjeuner, mais l'emplacement de l'hôtel est très pratique. Vous trouverez un supermarché à moins de 10 minutes à pied. La gare ferroviaire, la station de bus longue distance (avec la gare ferroviaire) et le terminal des ferries peuvent être parcourus à pied. C'est en bas de la rue commerçante la plus fréquentée de Wellington, à trois minutes. Pendant la journée, vous pouvez prendre l'ascenseur pour descendre de l'immeuble de bureaux à la rue commerçante, et la nuit, vous pouvez descendre les marches. L'hôtel dispose d'un parking. Nous avons réservé une chambre double, le lit était assez grand et deux personnes dorment très bien. Si vous avez des enfants, vous pouvez réserver une chambre twin, c'est-à-dire un grand lit et un lit simple normal. L'hôtel est également très pratique pour l'aéroport, et cela prend 20 minutes en taxi. L'hôtel est très propre, et le lave-linge, la plaque à induction, le four micro-ondes, le four, la hotte, ainsi que les casseroles et assiettes, couteaux et fourchettes sont très complets, rendant la cuisine très pratique. En un mot, j'aime ça et je suis satisfait. Si je vais à Wellington, je reviendrai à coup sûr dans cet hôtel.

We arrived here very early as we had been booked on an early flight from Blenheim. we left our luggage and spent the day visiting various places . By three o'clock, when we had been told to come back, we were a bit tired after the early start and lots of walking so were rather dismayed to hear our room wasn't ready. Throughout our three week tour in NZ we heard a lot about staff shortages in the hospitality sector. The receptionist asked housekeeping if they could prioritise our room and about 45 mins later we were able to go up. As compensation for the delay we were given two bottles of wine and some chocolate. We appreciated the gesture although we had said we understood the problems . Our apartment had two bedrooms, one ensuite and the other with a bathroom across the hall. The kitchen was well equipped and we were pleased to have a washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a steep slope up to the entrance to this place which may cause difficulties for some. It is very conveniently located for restaurants, shops and attractions. The harbour area is only a 15 to 20 minute walk away, depending on mobility levels. A good base for exploring Wellington.

It's an older hotel and the halls smell a little funky but that quickly fades. The rooms show some signs of wear but are clean and have all the things you need. The bed was clean and comfy. The dining room was cozy and inviting. There seemed to be a little confusion in the kitchen, I know places are short staffed, but the food that arrived I really enjoyed. It is close to lots of things, I was on foot for this trip. The value was good for the price and I would stay here again.

Nous restons toujours au James Cook sur notre visite annuelle à la ville. Nous sommes si bien accueillis et confortables et nous savons que l'hôtel dispose de toutes les installations que nous aimons, en particulier leur restaurant, qui fonctionne bien avec un personnel réduit - en raison de l'indisponibilité du personnel (qui semble être un thème récurrent autour de NZ) !

L'emplacement est bon. Prenez un petit train, allez dans les musées, les supermarchés, les dragons, les restaurants chinois ne sont pas loin. L'enregistrement s'effectue au sixième étage. Il y a une cuisine dans la maison où vous pouvez cuisiner. Mais manger autour est assez pratique. Nous n'avons pas cuisiné par nous-mêmes.

Trois personnes ont réservé un appartement de trois chambres. Au centre de Wellington, il y a un grand supermarché NW dans la rue. Il est également très pratique d'acheter de la nourriture pour vous-même. Allez à gauche et allez à l'Université Victoria. Bref, je suis très satisfait, je suis désolé de ne pas avoir pu rester quelques jours de plus. Il y a le wifi, le seul mécontentement est que la cuisine est pressée et va inonder en dessous.

Great location and very friendly and helpful staff. Check in was a breeze, and we were allocated a room as requested, in a quiet zone of the hotel. Although on a steep hill, the elevator down the street level was a bonus. After a long day, we used the room service and can highly recommend the Haloumi Burger for something different. But please have a Club Sandwich on the menu in the future. The bed was terrific and we had a great sleep. Breakfast (included in our room tariff) was great. A take away container of fresh fruit offered was a nice bonus. Will I/We stay here again? Yes. Sure will.

C'est près de Queen's Wharf. Les chambres sont grandes et hautes. Le bâtiment extérieur est de style très européen. Arrivée, très bonne sensation, si le prix peut encore être recommandé
