Le Leeu Estates, le jardin des riches indiens, aime l'art, il faut voir. Les produits de lit sont très confortables et il y a des petits points de bains auto-réparés. Le lendemain, à 6 heures, j'ai préparé le petit déjeuner de la bande.

Having stayed in Franschhoek on a couple of occasions previously we eventually made our way to stay in the Protea. Great location, within walking distance of everything in Franschhoek. Very secure car park. We were delighted with our stay and will be happy to stay again. Lovely room on the ground floor near the pool with everything we needed. The food was very good. We had breakfast each morning of our four night stay and had an evening meal on two occasions. A very nice bar where we had a nightcap each evening. Two excellent bar men who were very friendly and pleasant and really knew what they were doing. All the staff were very pleasant and eager to please. Thank you for a very pleasant stay. We will be back.

Although the main house, grounds and staff were very good our room left a lot to be desired. I did ask if the room could be changed but this could not be done. Although we were offered the chance to look at an hotel across the road instead, after a long road journey, 30c heat and cases already in our room, we were tired and decided it would just be easier to stay as only 3 nights. Unfortunately the tap in the kitchen area fell off immediately when we went to fill the kettle. It was repaired the following day. The kitchen area itself was poor with no fridge, so unless we asked constantly for ice or cold water, which is a nuisance, we couldn’t keep anything cool. The tap in the bathroom was also leaking profusely and needs repairing and the arm came off the chair. The other issue with our room was a steep outside staircase which one had to negotiate with care. It was a shame as other than our classic suite 5, Holden Manz had much to offer. All the hotels on our South Africa trip lived up to expectations with the exception of room 5.

The property has a lot of potential. Rooms look very modern when arriving. However staying in the room has few flaws: 1) Bath in middle of room looks great but very impractical. It would however make a great spot for a dressing table and mirror with great lighting for a lady to do her makeup. 2) The shower and toilet in same area. No Privacy. The toilet gets wet from the shower. The floor stays wet for hours and if you used it your clothes would get wet. 3) Great lighting system. However it controls all the lights at once. Cam be dimmed as required but individual lights , like most guest houses, would be much better. 4) Staff are very friendly. However it is very obvious that the owner is not present on site. Place needs the personal touch. 5) Breakfasts are sufficient but rather poor choice. EG. Toast, but no jam, offered eventhough on menu. (Menu's need to be thrown away and clean ones used. Very offputting before a meal)

Nous avons réservé et payé pour notre unité pour 10 nuits. La vue de l'appartement n'a rien à voir avec ce que vous voyez sur le site. Les gens agréables de la réception semblaient penser que ce n'était pas un problème. Nous l'avons fait. Le bruit de la construction de tuyau de décharge était quotidien, lourd et invasive. Une puissance excessive de décharge provenant des salles de bains a encouragé nos clients à quitter après 24 heures. Le jour suivant, nous avons informé la réception qui a reconnu le problème et nous avons fait des plaintes répétées avec la fourniture de « sticks parfum » dans les bouteilles pour masquer le stench. Nous avons fait face à cela par des visites de toilettes à rayons X et par l'utilisation du baignoire de cuisine pour laver et brosser les dents. Nous avons également trouvé que les écouteurs de la compagnie aérienne dans nos nezs faisaient douche possible. L'eau chaude fonctionnait bien. Nous n'avions pas de réserve de puissance pendant six jours. Ils nous ont fournis deux petites lampes portables électriques et nous avons dû faire face à ces lampes et aux feux sur nos iPhones. Enfin, les ingénieurs apparus le 7e jour ont fait quelque chose dans le garage et puis il y avait de la lumière. Il y avait juste un drible, suffisant pour cuisiner avec, mais aucune douche, lavabo ou toilette n'était possible À ce moment, nous avons demandé à nos deuxièmes invités de quitter leur voyage pour rester avec nous, car les odeurs des eaux usées étaient encore inacceptables. Le wifi n'a pas encore bien fonctionné en haut (12.6 Mbps en haut) mais l'eau a fait. Au 9ème jour, le stincte était si mauvais que nous avons jeté dans l'asile et quitté un jour tôt. C'était suffisant et nous ne nous sentions pas bien. Nous avons partagé cette information et une demande de remboursement partiel avec l'Ermitage qui a répondu en disant « excusez » et ferais mieux quand nous restons avec eux.

Nous nous sommes montés le matin sans réserver après un vol de nuit à Londres. Nous n'avions pas pu être traités mieux. Nous avons été offerts une belle chambre juste à proximité. La vue de la chambre était délicieuse. La chambre était parfaite avec toutes les amenities que personne ne pouvait jamais requérir. Nous nous sommes relaxés près de la belle piscine et nous sommes allés à la très courte distance de la rue principale de cette charmante ville pour dîner. Après un grand sommeil, nous avons eu un super petit déjeuner. Nous recommanderions et resterons à nouveau quand nous reviendrons à Franschhoek.

L'hôtel est très bon, très bon emplacement près des boutiques/restaurants et des vignobles. L'une des questions était que les aveugles dans la chambre de haut n'avaient pas travaillé, ce qui signifie que nous ne pouvions pas les fermer. A part ce séjour, vous vous en prie, vous recommanderiez très bien !

Nous avons séjourné à Corner House pendant 2 nuits en tournant les vignobles locaux et ne pouvons que dire de bonnes choses à propos de cela. Les chambres sont très confortables et de bonne taille, avec un excellent petit déjeuner, avec beaucoup de fruits frais et de délicieux pâturages et d'œufs a-la-carte, etc, sur la veranda. Les restaurants sont une petite promenade, Centre de la ville disponible en quelques minutes à pied.
