This is the worse place I have stayed in, I booked a superior room, what I got was a soulless, bare, uninviting place to spend as little time in as possible. Nothing of comfort to be had, no mirror, hairdryer, nasty cheap sachet of shower gel, not even a bottle of water to be seen. Damp patches on walls, basic furniture that was once used by monks, and now they are charging good money for it. When I spoke to the manager he said ” we don't have any stars” then they shouldn't portray it as if it has. Pictures on line show a nice modern bathroom, what we got was a horrible old one that I couldn't Bare to shower in, and it's supposed to be a superior room.Do not stay here if you want to relax and enjoy a nice meal and a good night's sleep, this is for people who are looking to experience staying in a monastery, it most certainly wasn't portrayed like that online . Restaurant and public areas are unheated and so cold you have to keep your coat on, having travelled from UK on the ferry overnight then driven for 5 hours this is not the experience I needed.

Nous étions une amie de moi et moi le week-end 14/15 d'août et rien d'autre à venir vous trouverez une petite réception mais confortable, une chambre large et avec deux fenêtres énormes qui vous entraient la lumière à des raids et le plus beau mur avec le toit Ils l'ont gardé de l'ancien hôtel, la décoration belle et simple. La propriétaire, avec toute la gentillesse, nous guide où nous pouvons aller déjeuner et voir des endroits, le meilleur est qu'elle est très centre et tout est à votre disposition, de restaurants à toutes sortes de magasins, de savons à des magasins de vêtements, de biscuits et de frites. Mais le meilleur est que le petit-déjeuner vous le rend dans votre chambre et très abondant avec des croissants de beurre, deux types de pain bien chaud, café, lait et jus naturel ¡¡¡ que plus vous pouvez demander ¡¡ Merci Belen a été un plaisir de nous héberger dans votre hôtel

We visited the restaurant of the hotel on a not so busy evening of May, this is the experience my family and I had - They were quick on assigning us a table, the person who received us, quite kind and efficient - After waiting for 15 mins or so, there was no sight of someone to bring or tell us the menu, we had to go to the nearest table for the carte. - When the waitress arrived, we ordered some eggs me sandwiches, she took note and left. After some time she came back with one plate, we would’ve shared of said plate if on the table was any cutlery, we weren’t served forks, knifes or napkins, so we had to ask her for them, it again took time 👌🏻 - The eggs were served with some chips that appeared burnt and after waiting some more time, about 30 mins, no other plate was on our table. We then had to ask for clean glasses and I asked for my sandwich to be cancelled, seeing that it was taking so long. - After that, we tried the eggs, which were not so good, we asked to cancel the other eggs and to bring instead another sandwich. The waitress was loosing her patience, told us that it was a problem from the kitchen’s side, that she only served and that’s it. In my humble opinion, when in teams, it doesn’t cut it to criticise your own people, it’s about unity to provide the best service and have a good working environment. - I took a quick trip to the bathroom, wasn’t able to use it tho. There were four stalls and a baby changing table, the floor was sticky, there was piss in some WC and dirty paper over the table. - When I arrived back, we asked to speak with someone who wasn’t so irritated at our requests, the person who attended us was extremely polite and that’s one of her reasons our experience here was not a total disaster. We cancelled everything except the water and waited for the note. -Since no one came to tell us what to pay, we stood up and went to the nearest waiter to ask for it. He asked his colleague for it, the waitress that had attended us was visibly angry and tried to debate the issues we had. A scene was about to begin when the manager stepped in and tried to ease tensions, he succeeded but the waitress answered in a very poorly mannered way. - We were invited to the water by the manager and he apologised profusely. They’ve had issues since the afternoon since one of their teammates fell doing laundry. Im taking some time into writing this review because truly this experience was not the best, if I were to read this review I would guess it’s from a motel or small restaurant, yet this is supposed to be a renowned place. Sadly dissatisfied and disappointed to be honest, we hope change comes to this lovely 19th century building.

L'hôtel vit clairement sur sa réputation et sa localisation Belle bâtisse, bien située Malheureusement, l'hôtel est vieillissant et nécessiterait d'être refait à neuf, surtout à près de 200 euros la nuit (plancher en pente, tâches d'humidité au plafond, sanitaires à refaire, très bruyant entre chambres, etc ....) Nous avions réservé pour deux nuits, en pensant pouvoir nous baigner dans la piscine. A l'arrivée, nous avons découvert qu'elle était fermée depuis une semaine sans que nous en ayons été averti: à la réception il nous a été répondu que nous avions qu'à appeler pour nous renseigner !! Il y avait un mariage à San Lorenzo et une partie des invités logeaient à l'hôtel: le samedi dans la nuit, les invités sont rentrés et se sont mis au piano dans le salon en chantant à tue tête, sans que le personnel ne réagisse !! Si c'était à refaire, il est clair que nous chercherions un autre hôtel

J'ai été hébergée ici à plusieurs reprises pour des raisons de travail et l'hôtel est en général très bien, surtout son personnel est charmant. 📍 La situation est très bonne, près du monastère, à cinq minutes de la gare et dans la zone d'environnement des week-ends. 🛏️ La chambre est petite mais confortable. Le lit est très large et confortable, il a un chauffage réglable. Ce que je n'ai pas aimé était le réservoir ouvert, d'ailleurs bien conditionné. 🚽 Dans la salle de bain, on note que l'hôtel est ancien, mais il est bon, très propre. 🥗 La nourriture de la zone restaurant et café est bonne et ont assez de petit déjeuner complet. 📡 Connexion Wi-Fi gratuite dans l'ensemble de l'hôtel. 👨🏻‍💼👩🏻‍💼 Personnel très gentil, tant à la réception que dans le restaurant.

The location itself is nice due to the tranquility, but it is not close to the metro center. A little slow down paced town to easy off the soul. Yet, the transportation system is convenient to bring you back and forth to the City center as you like. It's so close to the airport, and that's the reason I chose this place. You may spend the whole day in down town to play around, and then feel no concern to catch a morning flight. It costs like less than 20 Euro to Uber to the airport.

L'hôtel est bien placé et très accessible, le long d'un axe routier sur la route entre Madrid et Ségovie à moins d'une heure de Madrid au pied des collines et non loin des stations de ski. Tout est fonctionnel, les chambres sont confortables et de bonnes dimension, et calmes malgré la proximité de la route, il y a un grand parking. Cela n'est pas un hôtel de charme, mais le rapport qualité/ prix est bon, il n'y a rien à redire.
