Historic, charming 2 Bed 1 Bath apartment that is part of a double shotgun house located two blocks from beautiful City Park in Mid-City, the heart of New Orleans. My house is five blocks (7 min walk) from the Canal St. streetcar, which will lead you straight to the French Quarter or allow you to connect to the St. Charles line to visit the the beautiful Garden District of Uptown New Orleans.Built in the 1920s, this 2 bedroom apartment has one queen sized bed, one full sized bed, and one sleeper sofa, accommodating 4-6 people with ease and comfort. The floor plan (approx. 950 sq. ft.) is a typical style “shotgun” with the original pine hardwood floors, 12’ ceilings, antique doors and mantels. The apartment has many recent renovations and updates with local style and creative décor while keeping the original architectural elements to help you feel like you are living like a local while enjoying your visit!The front porch private entry doorway opens into the front den and living room including a movie theater style sofa for two, two chairs, two antique libraries, antique fireplace (nonfunctioning), and 40" flat screen smart TV with full cable and WiFi access to ensure you are comfortable while relaxing from your New Orleans adventures. The two precious libraries act as the dividing wall between the den and living room, where you will find a dining table for 4. Down the short hallway you will find a full bath with a shower/bathtub to your right, and a little further down another private entrance/exit via a side door to the house. This hallway then leads to the first private queen bedroom equipped with a large closet, spacious dresser, and 40 inch Smart TV. The next room is a fully equipped, newly renovated kitchen with granite countertops and brand new stainless steel appliances. The last room in the house is the second private bedroom equipped with an open wardrobe and 40" flat screen TV with Google chrome cast. This bedroom has a back door that leads directly outside to the back patio, which includes access to the washer and dryer located in a covered area of the back shed. Note that whoever you have to walk through the queen bedroom to get to the bathroom if you are staying in the full bedroom in the back. Other options are to go out the back door and enter the house through the side door or front door to aces the bathroom with out walking through the queen bedroom.The house is located at the crossroads of two wonderful neighborhoods referred to as Mid-City and City Park. Mid-City, which is known as the "heart of New Orleans" is a place where locals live as a neighborhood rather than just an area of New Orleans. It is a place filled with a community spirit that resonates with its residents old and new. Mid-City has become the new, revitalized and young neighborhood of New Orleans and is attracting young professionals from all over the country who have recently relocated to New Orleans working in the medical fields. With the nearby addition of shopping centers and restaurants, Whole Foods, expansion of City Park attractions and the construction of the new medical facilities on Tulane Avenue and the Veterans Affairs Hospital to be completed in 2016, Mid-City is the place to be!Just a couple of blocks away is City Park, one of the nation’s oldest urban parks with 1,300-acres of beautiful grounds, serene water gardens, ancient live oak trees and magical offerings. The park features the New Orleans Museum of Art, putt-putt golf course, regular 18-hole golf course, tennis courts, play grounds, Botanical Gardens, Besthoff Sculpture Garden, Train Garden, City Splash, Pan American Stadium and various music and theatrical productions throughout the year. The hotel is great but the cost of the room was extremely high. I visit this hotel occasionally and I've never had any complaints until now. I understand there was an event happening the weekend I stayed but the amount of money I paid for the stay should have gotten me all the services offered by the hotel. The valet parking was unavailable which caused a problem for me due to some health conditions. However, the overall stay was good.

I give this hotel 4 stars. My overall experience was really good. The hotel is a 4-5 minute walk to Bourbon St. It's definitely in the heart of the French Quarters. I would have gave 5 stars, but the bathroom door in our hotel room was extremely hard to close. The hotel room itself is small and there are no closets to store your clothes or suitcases.

Il y avait un bar de soap dans la douche quand nous sommes arrivés. Le lit était extrêmement dur et les étuis étaient très doux, il n'était pas confortable. Lorsque nous sommes arrivés la chambre était chaude et l'eau était chaude. La première douche a fait froid l'eau et le chauffage a cessé de fonctionner. Ils ont envoyé quelqu'un pour régler les problèmes et nous avons eu de l'eau chaude ce soir. La douche était froide encore et l'eau brune s'échappait par les toiles de plafond au-dessus de la douche. La location était confortable et la vue sur la rivière était très belle.

La chambre était très confortable et très confortable. Le service de la femme était bon dans le fait que le lit était fait tous les jours, mais le lit lui-même était loupé. Il y avait des peintures de rugby dans le bain. Pour aller dehors fumer une cigarette, on est bombardé avec des sans-abri qui demandent de l'argent ou des cigarettes. Il semblerait que des mesures plus adéquates auraient pu être prises pour protéger les clients qui se trouvent devant l'hôtel à attendre quelque chose ou pour respirer de l'air frais de ce harcèlement. Le balcon est très bien situé, mais il est très bon, et il est très bon, et il est très bon, et il est très bon, et il est très bon. Passer des jours à explorer la ville et, plus tard, à aller au balcon dans les soirées est devenu une routine pour moi. C'est jusqu'à une nuit, en quittant le balcon vers l'ascenseur, j'ai couru sur une femme qui était enfoncée à peindre au sol par le mur qui a une photo d'une dame avec un papier sur ses yeux. Il y avait des salles de bains au deuxième étage, donc je ne pouvais pas comprendre pourquoi elle le ferait. Je suppose que cela parle au type de personne qu'elle est. J'ai été affligé. Si c'est une représentation du type de personnes qui réservent des chambres à l'Astor, alors cet hôtel n'est pas l'hôtel pour moi! Non, je ne resterai jamais là encore

Mes séjours ici étaient merveilleux ❤️❤️❤️Beau appartement spacieux avec une chambre double avec balcon. Les vues de la ville sur le balcon étaient magnifiques. Personnel efficace et amiable, et nourriture et boissons étaient abondantes et délicieuses.

La chambre est grande, il y a une cuisine, il faut nettoyer chaque sept jours en continu, il faut changer de toile pour que la réception soit envoyée. L'environnement est bon avec une piscine, la nuit est calme, le petit-déjeuner est riche, c'est que le son est plus élevé lorsque la chambre est ouverte avec l'air conditionné. Dans l'ensemble, le rapport coût-efficacité est élevé 👍

L'hôtel est idéal et il y a beaucoup de restaurants et de shopping dans la zone. Il dispose d'une belle piscine et de parking qui est extrêmement rare. Brad qui a travaillé à l'hôtel pendant 43 ans était merveilleux de traiter, très informative et amicale.

La position de l'hôtel est bonne, très proche du port, il y a un magasin d'Otles, une cuisine chinoise rapide. Il y a trois places de stationnement gratuites sur la porte de l'hôtel, l'autre côté après 8 heures. Vous pouvez arrêter si vous avez un placement. Le lait de petit déjeuner de l'hôtel est mignon et la viande de vache est riche, mais la même chaque jour. La chambre de l'hôtel est un peu vieille, micro-ondes sont mauvaises, ne peut pas être utilisée, les autres sont bien, hygiène propre.

L'emplacement est correct, à quelques minutes à pied de Bourbon Street, mais aussi de la distance du quartier français, mais la route dans ces minutes est délabrée, c'est un peu nerveux tout seul, l'hôtel lui-même est un peu étrange, les huit derniers étages ou les neuf étages sont tous des parkings, l'hôtel est au-dessus du parking. La décoration est ancienne et les chambres sont assez grandes.

I would stay at the Drury Plaza again. They had a full hot breakfast, and free drinks with more than just appetizers every evening. The location was close to many great tourist locations. (I recommend walking to Daisy Mae’s restaurant right up the street for a delicious lunch.) Shout out to Jamie, the manager at the front desk, who helped me with my reservation in a courteous and friendly way. It also made us feel secure knowing only guest with a key card could get in the hotel and access all the amenities. The only thing I would change would be getting a room not facing the main street, as sometimes the loudness of the busy outside could be heard in our room, but other than that everything was great!

La position de l'hôtel est bonne, la chambre est super propre et propre, l'hôtel est entier à cinq points, pourquoi je n'ai pas donné cinq points parce que la position de ma chambre n'est pas si bonne, et que le terrain est rempli d'une grande quantité de climatisation extérieure

J'ai séjourné une nuit supplémentaire après ma réservation initiale. Le service est resté tout aussi excellent. Ohhh demander à la table frontale pour l'assistance avec un taxi à l'aéroport. Très cher que l'Uber ou levée.

Un hôtel de qualité, un environnement propre et propre, le défaut est que l'élévateur n'est qu'un seul, mais en termes de prix, il est très abordable de profiter de cette chambre et ne sont pas loin de la zone touristique.
