We had an amazing 2 night stay at Nirup. 100% recommended resort! Yes, you'll have a rough ferry ride with lacking AC from Batam and there is not much to explore on the small island except a small beach and a few pretty stairs leading down from the hotel through a bit of jungle. However, the staff was extremely welcoming and friendly, the room is well designed, spacious and offers a wonderful view to surrounding islands, towards Singapore skyline as well as towards Batam. You can enjoy the sunrise from the beautiful breakfast area and the sunset from the pool and bar area. The in-house kitchen is fantastic, Pizza, Nasi Goreng, Salmon Rilettes were some of our highlights. The gym is among the best I've seen in any hotel (and I've been to a few). Right now there is still construction going on, so be prepared to hear some noise during the day. However because a direct line from Singapore is not currently available, you have a chance to enjoy a very private stay at this luxury resort. A big shout-out to the friendly staff and great chef(s).

From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with warmth and genuine hospitality. Their attention to detail and thoughtful gestures made our celebration extra special—including a complimentary anniversary cake that was such a sweet surprise! The hotel itself is stunning. We loved relaxing at the rooftop bar with its beautiful views, and the swimming pool was perfect for unwinding. Breakfast was another highlight—so many delicious options to choose from, catering to every taste. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, professional, and went out of their way to ensure we had the best experience. It’s rare to find service this outstanding. Montigo Nongsa Resort is a must go for a relaxing retreat in Batam to rest and recharge from the daily rush of City life. Just by simply being there, immersed in the beauty of white washed villas by the sea, you will feel like you're in Greece. Soaking in the scenic view all around you everywhere you go and vibes of a slower pace of life, all the stress slips away. In the resort, commuting is done using a buggy, or you can have a delightful walk discovering paths and scenic places not covered by the buggy. The villa is my beautiful cozy home for the retreat with its own Infinity pool giving me all time access to the magnificent sea view, sunset and cloudy skies overhead. I can lounge on the poolside bench for a sunbath watching the ferries and sea activities or admire the broad expanse of the dark cloudy skies overhead with planes flying above at night truly quietens one's spirit down in an amazing life by the sea. Adding sparks and highlights to the already perfect life here in Montigo Resort is the abundance of daily breakfast at Tadd's Restaurant. The staff here (including Sara and another gentleman staff whom I didn't ask for the name) are amazingly friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant breakfast experience for you. If you have booked recreation activities in advance, you would be pleasantly delighted that staff from the Recreation Club would be there at Tadd's before you come for breakfast to meet you and assure they will bring you to the Recreation activity after breakfast! Wow! What a seamless experience to make you feel so welcome and well taken care of! Thanks to Chyntia, Coco, Yoga, Wahid and Bruhan from the Recreation Club. Chyntia has thoughtfully planned the sequence of the activities when I booked several activities over a few days without fixed dates and time to allow easier booking depending on tidal conditions and other guests' bookings. You can try your hands at the Airsoft Gun. Coco from Recreation Club will guide you on the shooting techniques. As a first timer with Airsoft guns, I'm certainly pleased to have hit 2 targets using 30 pellets. Next is the kayaking. Yoga from Recreation Club will brief you on using the paddle and take photos and videos for you from the shore. Just paddle out to the peaceful sea and take in the entire landscape of Montigo Resort from the kayak. I'm also amazed at the opportunity to see a tiny flat crab clutching onto a floating cardboard raising one leg at me at sea! Another exciting adventure is the ATV! Wahid from the Recreation Club will help you get familiar to the ATV in no time and guide you on a tour to the dirt track and the nearby farm in the ATV if you choose the one hour session! Along the way, he will help take photos and videos to capture your memorable ATV journey. Lastly, you can opt for a 2 hour bike tour to 2 kampungs! Guided by Bruhan from Recreation Club, you will see the captivating rustic local life scenes, the nature and beach along the way. You will also see the mangrove village where paintball activity takes place. Bruhan will also take photos and videos for you when we pause for breaks. Thankfully, Bruhan brought along a bottle of mineral water for me for regular hydration during the tour! It totally skipped my mind to consider bringing water along! To ease the muscle soreness, end the day with a blissful soak in the Infinity pool or warm bathtub with an essential oil bath bomb. Breathe in the aromatic scent and relax. So much wonderful memories and delightful experiences at Montigo Nongsa Resort leaves me looking forward to more!

Very clean and tidy. Enjoyed lifestyle away from city hustle and bustle. Surprised, no mosquitos surrounded by trees. Swimming pool was very clean. It will be convenient to have vending machine softdrinks at reception lobby. No bathway to reach the jetty.

Stayed only 1N. Wished it was longer. Booked 2 twin rooms for a girls’ trip. My friends were pleasantly surprised with the “birthday cake towels”- such a nice touch . Tks Oakwood for the thoughtfulness and memorable stay. The hotel is fairly new. Some teething issues (ie unclean cups, shower tap was faulty, key card couldn’t work due to battery issues etc) - which is expected and quickly resolved. The staff from front desk, concierge to F&B - they were all friendly and hardworking, with a desire to go the extra mile. Bf at the hotel was relaxing with a nice spread. My friend left something in the room. We contacted the concierge, who was was very prompt and kind to retrieve it and help explore ways to return the item. We were v grateful and impressed by the excellent service. The hotel’s location is superb. Next to the Grand Batam mall with lots of restaurants, big supermarket and shops. It was also opposite the wet market and surrounded with many spa options. We all agreed that this hotel must be one of convenient places to stay. We’ll be back with more friends next round. Tks

This stay at the hotel was similar to my previous experiences. It’s probably my third or fourth time staying here. The toilet wasn’t very clean this time, and I wanted to make a complaint, but I was in a rush to go out and meet some friends at a nearby hotel. That said, the service and the room were still good, and the overall experience was pleasant. The internet connection did drop occasionally, but overall everything was fine. I’m still very satisfied 👍

Saw this and it's amenities and felt it was the best for me and my 3 kids. Decided to try this out didn't realize it was further than I'm usually used to. We arrived in the evening but was greeted by a cheerful receptionist. Please note there is a 1 mil rupiah deposit. I wasn't prepared for this so I thought to give this a heads up for future booking awareness. The place was alittle hard to spot from the main road ( there was no signage) but it's landmarks are Cubezone and Ria. Note, there is a laundry service across the road please expect 1-2 days. Express service is 1 day The entrance is a dainty little walkway like a secret hideout into a cactus garden that somehow transports you to what looks like Bali crossed with New Mexico feels. A small but clean pool, well maintained. They have dining table and benches outside for a chill out vibe. There's also a BBQ space where you can engage in their BBQ rental (provides charcoal n pit) with a ceiling fan n sink for your convenience and comfort. Area is nice and spacious. Once again I just emphasize, they keep it very clean. The place it seems is 6 container villas surrounding the garden n pool. Which is perfect if you plan to have a big group in. Inside there's a basic kitchenette with a fridge, pot, kettle. There were 2 rooms. Both equipped with bathrooms and tvs. Ac was perfection.you don't have to worry about the heat. It's so nice and cold. Makes you wanna just not get out of bed. The wifi was laggy alittle, didn't bother us as we had local data but it wasn't so nice to be watching a movie and gettin disrupted. TV is equipped with YOUTUBE and Netflix. Pretty awesome to keep the kids occupied. Be warned they have live bands that play music till 1-2 am in the morning. Definately didn't expect that but it didn't bother us so much. Once again, another heads up. Pool is open from 7am to 9pm. Its also a 15-20mins drive to Nagoya. We normally do Grab roughly about 60-70k. The host has their number in the welcome print and responds pretty fast if you need to enquire on anything. Overall, the place is pretty charming and despite it being alittle far from massages n karaoke, I think I found a new go to place. Certainly looking forward to be back.

13/5 We reach hotel by 2pm and able to do an early check in the Hotel is well maintain and looks just having some partial interior renovation and room is so spacious and the hotel surprisingly you may choose smoking room and non smoking room during check in. this hotel outside view mayb is not as good as other brand new hotel facing nice sea view etc but but this hotel ambience really make me feel welcoming safe like a home with a great staff from a front desk reception, chef until a housekeeping a so polite. We requested a smooking room and surprisingly even a smoking room the room doesn’t have any weird smell i know because im not a smoker so i can differentiate 😅. The room is so spacious among other big brand hotels in batam and at town area that can i mention so worth the price and the hotel does provide some hotel which is gym, pool, spa and cafe like other hotel. whenever we keep on in and out the whoever stuff that saw us will politely greet us wherever we are. On the next day we went for breakfast located at 1st floor, that a 3 people st the front then one of them guide us to the table while walk to the table they explained to us where and the food located. On that morning the restaurant was not so crowded i guess due to low peak season or fall on weekday so everything went smoothly and calm untill we do for check out and whenever i go back to batam again I look forward to stay in sheraton with different room type thank you for having me on my short trip !
