Renaissance Raleigh North Hills Hotel

Overall, a clean and comfortable hotel. I haven't stayed there in a couple of years, but I did notice an overall decline in the condition of the hotel and service. My room was clean; however, the toilet constantly ran and the shower was constantly dripping (wasted water). I mentioned that my room needed maintenance when I checked out. Hopefully the staff followed up. I arrived late to the hotel due to flight delays. I tried numerous times to get the mobile key on my phone via the app, but it kept showing ”preparing your mobile room key” - never got it. Upon check-in, I wanted to get a glass of wine to relax in my room while I unpacked. No bartender to be found, until I went to the front desk and asked for them to find him/her. There were others waiting for service, as well. On the last morning of my stay, I contacted the front desk to ask for a ”late” (30 minutes later) check out. Check out time is 12:00 noon, but I asked if I could check out at 12:30 instead, as I was attending a conference that was wrapping up at noon. I was hoping to keep my bag in the room, so that I could change quickly in my room before catching a flight home. I was told no.... ”If I do it for you, everyone else will want to do it.” Wow, what an unprofessional response. I didn't think 30 minutes would be so disruptive to the flow of housekeeping. The staff is generally pleasant and professional, aside from my brief conversation with the front desk asking for a later checkout time. I stay at this because it's convenient for my conference attendance, but I'm disappointed with my most recent experience and stay, here. Generally, not Marriott standards.

The hotel is very nice, but our room was dirty. The staff at the desk at 11pm when we checked in were friendly and welcoming. We were only staying there overnight as a stop on our way to vacation in South Carolina. There was my husband and I and our 3 adult children. We asked for a rollaway bed, as the room technically only sleeps 4. We waited until midnight for the bed even though I’d asked for it at the time of booking AND while texting Josh at the front desk while we were still driving, and again at check-in. My husband and I were meeting a friend who was preforming at Tin Roof while our children stayed behind. Upon arriving in the room, we noticed there was a random sock on the middle of the room. On further inspection, there were discarded rose petals under the bed as well as an oatmeal crème pie (?!?) under there. There was also popcorn on the windowsill. By 11PM on the day of check-in, I’d expect the room to be clean, not like someone had just used it an hour before. (The rose petals were still fresh!!!) It made me wonder if the sheets were even clean! (Yuck) The area where the hotel is is loud, but we expected that. We paid over $300 to stay there for less than 8 hours. We were not offered a different room or even a reduced rate or refund for having to sleep in a dirty room. We alerted the desk staff on our way out of the hotel to go meet our friend. I realize the staff has their hands tied when it comes to these things, but corporate should refund some, if not all of the room fee for putting us in a dirty room.

Nous n'allons pas rester dans Residence Inn, mais nos plans de voyage nous avaient à Raleigh pour une nuit et cet hôtel a eu la meilleure option pour notre famille de cinq. Je dois dire que j'étais vraiment impressionné! Les chambres étaient spacieuses, propres et mises à jour. Le restaurant est très confortable et le petit déjeuner est très confortable.

Le lit était divin. Ils ont des vélos Peloton dans la salle de fitness. Il ne manque que deux choses : des options de restauration végétalienne, une piscine extérieure. Je reviendrais ici. Il y a des options de restauration végétalienne de l'autre côté de la rue (Happy and Hale, Element - Plant-based Gastropub. Et Raleigh Raw n'est qu'à quelques pâtés de maisons.).

Le centre de la ville est très confortable et vous propose des chambres confortables. La seule chose qui manque est que je souhaite avoir été un peu d'eau bouteillenée fournie dans la chambre et je souhaite qu'ils aient été diurnement désactivés, mais peut-être c'est la pandémie ?
