Le Devereux est un lieu très bien situé pour des activités à Remuera. L'hôtel est très bien équipé et agréablement équipé. Il n'y a pas de sommeil d'isolation acoustique d'autres chambres et, comme nous étions en bas, on aurait pu entendre les conversations et les activités dans la chambre qui nous est supérieure. Les deux chaises de notre chambre (la chambre de la Toscane) étaient en tête et des tentatives avaient été faites pour traiter ces teintes (voir photos). Une chaise était mouillée et l'autre laissait une poudre sur nos vêtements si vous vous sentiez sur elle. Il semble que peu si on fait des investissements dans la propriété pour la garder à la traîne. Il est déshabillé, fatigué, et sale. Les notes passive-agressives dans la chambre vont de annoyant à ridicule.

I stayed here for two nights in March 2023. The hotel was located close to the venue of my meetings and more or less half way between the central city and airport. It took about 10 minutes up the motorway to the central city and about 20 minutes to the airport (early morning traffic). Across the road there is a petrol station and shop (for snacks etc). There is a Countdown supermarket and McDonalds on the other side of the motorway, just a few hundred metres from the hotel, but you would need to go by car to get across the motorway. The hotel is clean and modern and in line with the usual expectations for an Ibis hotel. The room was fairly large by Ibis standards. There is a bar and restaurant downstairs. My only complaint is that, on the second night, I returned to the hotel at about 9:30pm and the carpark was full. I circled for about ten minutes waiting for a space to become available, but that did not eventuate. I asked the reception where I could park and they indicated the public parking area nearby - about a 1-minute walk away from the hotel. That cost $7.50 for 24 hours. Be aware of this if returning to the hotel at night. I then went to the bar to redeem my drinks voucher but, at 9:52pm, the bar was closing and they wouldn't serve me. I could not get my drink or even think of asking if there were any food options. I don't think that closing the bar that early is good for customer service.

Reminded by their ! I stayed here in February 2020 ( a while back but stick with me). I was there with a work thing so a busy day. I got back to the hotel at about 7pm, had a bath and when I went to let the water out of the bath the water didn't drain. Next thing the plughole in the middle of the bathroom started flooding the room with 'dirty' water. It smelt awful if you know what I mean. I put all the towels on the ground to stop it from getting into my room. I rang reception to say what was happening and that I could not stay in the room. I have to say the night manager was very helpful throughout but, it was 9pm at this point, and having to pack up after working all day and flying up from Christchurch that morning, made for a pretty uncomfortable stay. Even the new room was missing lots of items (tissues, shower gel, tea bags, etc). Please note, I am only posting this now because the cold call from a pretty insistent and overzealous Accor sales representative, reminded me to check when I stayed here. At the time I even said in the feedback email to Novotel ElIerslie that I wouldn't post to Tripadvisor. But then in checking this out, I see that they never even responded to me about what happened or what they were doing so others didn't experience what I did. Overall a disappointing experience.

Parce que je veux faire des choses dans le district central, mais en fait, je ne connais pas du tout Epsom, alors je viens de le chercher sur Ctrip. On peut dire que je viens de regarder les photos. Le prix était également dans quelques magasins à proximité. J'ai pensé que c'était OK et j'ai réservé pour trois jours. J'ai trouvé qu'après avoir emménagé, l'environnement et les conditions sanitaires étaient très satisfaisants. En particulier, la distribution des chambres est très ventilée et la petite zone d'hébergement utilise pleinement l'environnement naturel pour obtenir une excellente ventilation et un excellent éclairage. De plus, il se trouve à environ cinq minutes à pied du supermarché Countdown, donc je pense qu'il n'y a rien de mal à rester plus longtemps. De manière générale, en comparaison, il s'agit d'une auberge d'hébergement plus rentable. Parce qu'il n'y a pas de soi-disant hall d'hôtel et pas d'autres installations telles qu'un restaurant, mais la chambre est équipée d'un simple poêle pour préparer de la nourriture. Bref, même s'il est possible de séjourner dans un hôtel quatre étoiles à un prix par rapport aux chinois, c'est quand même un bon emplacement à Auckland après tout ! Bref, faites ce que vous voulez ! Il y a une chambre relativement nouvelle pour l'aménagement, mais le goût est également évident, je peux ouvrir la fenêtre. Il y a une cuisine, mais nous n'avons pas de linge de chambre, et il y a des micro-ondes. L'isolement de la chambre est très mauvais, très doux le matin, très influençant le repos.
