Le meilleur complexe hôtelier de Taïwan, et il vaut largement son prix. Un service exceptionnel : c’est comme séjourner dans un ryokan de luxe moderne au Japon, à la différence que tout le monde parle chinois. Le design des chambres est remarquable, et une chambre avec un lit king-size et un espace tatami séparé a parfaitement convenu à notre famille (2 adultes et 2 jeunes enfants). La vue est à couper le souffle dès l’entrée, et la chambre dispose d’un onsen extérieur privé attenant à la salle de bain. J’ai remarqué que beaucoup d’onsens privés en chambre au Japon sont dilués, mais celui-ci était alimenté par une source. L’onsen public était immense, extrêmement bien entretenu, et comprenait un grand jardin zen clos de murs avec un sauna et un bassin d’eau froide. J’ai eu la chance d’en profiter seul : un autre client partait à mon arrivée et un autre arrivait à mon départ. En Chine, cet onsen aurait facilement pu accueillir une centaine de baigneurs. L’eau de source n’est pas trop sulfureuse (elle ne sent pas l’œuf pourri) et sa température est relativement douce, idéale pour ma famille. Étant donné la disponibilité limitée de l'hôtel en ligne, je m'attendais à ce qu'il soit plus fréquenté. J'ai eu l'impression que les tarifs des chambres sont contrôlés pour optimiser l'expérience client, et non les profits, et que le personnel est formé pour que les clients n'aient jamais l'impression d'être arnaqués ou de subir une pression commerciale. Il semblait d'ailleurs y avoir plus d'employés que de clients sur place. J'avais initialement réservé deux chambres, mais certains membres de ma famille n'ont pas pu faire le voyage. Nous n'avions pas besoin de la deuxième chambre, et le personnel a eu la gentillesse de nous la rembourser et de l'annuler immédiatement. Lors de mon prochain séjour à Taïwan ou dans un pays où Hoshinoya est présent, je n'hésiterai pas à réserver à nouveau et à faire le déplacement spécialement pour séjourner dans l'un de leurs complexes hôteliers.

Le parking est un espace de stationnement mécanique. Il est difficile de garer une grosse voiture, mais il y a de la poussière qui vole sous les lumières à certains endroits. La salle de bain est très propre et grande, je ne sais pas pourquoi. la salle de douche siffle lors de l'utilisation de l'eau chaude ?!

Location - I’m not sure if we just missed out on what’s nearby. But we did walk on the sides, we were searching around of what’s there to see. We didn’t see much, like we realized after walking for a few minutes that we just found the convenient store which is kinda far if that was the nearest available (or again, there could be one the other side we don’t know haha). So after walking around, and realizing there’s nothing much to see. We already booked an Uber going to the night market. It wasn’t that far from the HSR Station. I couldn’t remember the exact distance and travel time. But if I find it far I’d normally remember it and say it. Service - it was an easy check-in and check-out. Though, I almost forgot to get a receipt. Had to proactively ask for one. Luckily we decided to stay for a bit after checking out, we remembered it and got to request for it. I like how they already asked upon checking in if we need a room cleaning service. That was convenient. The breakfast was so so (on my personal taste bud). Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t that bad. I love the room the most! We were happy about how spacious it is. And it has an AI box which we loved. The bathtub has a tv, the shower area was spacious, the ambience of the room, hallways and lobby. The free snacks. The brand of the body wash and conditioner. The free Nescafe machine in the lobby. I’d definitely recommend it and I’d stay here again. (Though I still have a pending concern that I have to figure out myself, cause the amount showing in the invoice was different from the amount showing on tha app. Haven’t checked how much was the final amount taken out on my card) The late check out costs Ntd$1,000/hour

The room is as described and shown on the pictures. I gave a 4 for cleanliness as on first night, I found hairs on the bed & a hole on the bath towel. I reported to the staff via LINE (in Taiwan they use mainly LINE to communicate). They quickly took action and offered to change the bedsheets and clean the room. As I stayed for a week, they scheduled a housekeeping on day 4 of my stay. The soundproofing is not the best but if needed earplugs are provided in the room. It was the winter in Taiwan when I was there so having a hot shower is important and the hot water is available. I like that there is water dispenser at each room level, rubbish and recycling bins are located outside so it is convenient. The location of the inn is about 15 minutes walk from the Taichung Train Station. If you are carrying large luggage, advise to take a Uber. It is near to 一中街 (yizhong street) where you can find many shops, food, etc. From the inn, cutting through the open space carpark, you will be at the shopping area. As a female solo traveller, at the start I was a bit concerned of the location of the inn. The entrance to the inn is in a alley, next to a bistro bar. You need the access card to enter the inn so that is find, just make sure it is lock after you enter. The front desk only operates from 11 am - 10:30 pm. There is an emergency hotline number to call for afterhour service. Using LINE to communicate with them is easy. There's a cafe next to the inn where you can have breakfast with discount by showing your room card. If you want to travel to places, there are many buses. If not, it is easy to get Uber. For first time traveller to Taichung, he/she will not be aware that toilet paper cannot be thrown into the toilet bowl, so it is good to have a sign to show that. Overall, the staff are friendly and helpful. For the price, it is value for money.

excellent service by all staff; all smiley and ready to help. the free meals were such a bonus and god sent as some days we got too busy with our itinerary and didn’t have time to eat so we would go back to hotel for supper. although the menu was the same everyday, we didn’t mind as the quality was quite decent and there were varieties. the water pressure was the best! bed was comfortable, aircon was cold, smart tv, quick resolution service by technicians when we couldn’t connect to the room wifi. overall would recommend! there’s also a massage service with discount for room guests; quite mediocre but for the price ok la.

Stylish design hotel in Taichung's old town. Clean rooms, comfy beds, and amazing staff. 10-min walk from train station. Close to Miyahara and Second Market. Rooms are small and soundproofing is just okay, but great value for money. Free afternoon snacks! Perfect for solo or couple travelers or family too . ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I liked this hotel. The room was quite spacious and nicely decorated with a city view. Breakfast had a good variety of options. There is also a public area with table tennis, which was a nice bonus.

Check-in is abit difficult as they have two check-in places but no one standby at the main counter and the number provided is uncontactable.
