Hôtels près de Jewellery Quarter à Birmingham

I stopped here one night with friends for my birthday. The hotel is easy to get to, and the location is excellent as it’s located on Broad Street, near Brindley Place which hosts a wide range of bars and pubs. So if you’re visiting Birmingham to have a drunken, night out or a special occasion then this hotel is perfect. There’s also parking on site behind the hotel which is very handy, unfortunately the car park isn’t discounted for guests stopping in the hotel. After waiting in a small queue, we attempted to check in at 14:30 (half hour earlier than check in ‘opens’) we were told the room wasn’t ready. Which wasn’t an issue as they had luggage storage available. We can back to check in at 16:00 and the queue was horrendous. I’ve never seen a queue as big as this to check in for a hotel before. We waited for 20 minutes until we checked in. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped. Although there were coffee cups left behind the curtains upon entry. The bathroom was very modern and had a walk in shower. The beds were unbelievably comfy and had plug sockets by the side of the bed which is a massive plus as not every hotel has this. Luckily, it was a quicker process checking out as you can just pop your keys in the ‘express checkout box’. Overall, a comfortable night stay in the heart of Birmingham, unfortunately the check in was horrific.

Le restaurant est très confortable et très confortable. Le petit déjeuner buffet était excellent pour £8.99 et ma fille a mangé gratuitement. L'hôtel lui-même est dans un endroit parfait pour Birmingham Hippodrome, le quartier chinois, la vie nocturne et Bullring.

We booked this hotel last minute after having to make changes to our trip to the NEC. Not fancying a glamping pod, we booked a room and were allocated the honeymoon suite. The hotel was very clean throughout and you could smell the cleaning products as soon as you walked in, indicating the cleaners had been in doing a thorough job. Staff were lovely and friendly and let us check in an hour early as the room was ready when we arrived at 2pm. Free parking is provided and I could see my car from the window of our room. The location is good and site was nice and quiet, despite having an events centre next door. There isn’t much within walking distance however there’s a bar and restaurant on site to cater for your needs. There’s also free wifi however our mobile signals were absolutely fine so we had no reason to make use of it on this occasion. Jacuzzi in the room was a nice touch and big enough to fit two people in. Was delighted to find out that a complimentary breakfast was included the following morning, and not too early either, starting at 9am. Sunday check out at 11am was ideal without us having to rush. As pleasant as the hotel is, it needs a fair bit of work. It’s very dated and tired looking. It’s creaky and old and is in need of a bit of a restoration, more than just a lick of paint here and there. The walls are paper thin, as I was lying in bed I could hear the person in the next room using the toilet - I won’t get graphic but let me just say I could hear everything as though I was in the room with them. One of the windows in our room wouldn’t shut at all, which wasn’t a massive issue as the weather wasn’t too bad, but during colder months this would’ve been impossible to sleep through. The old wooden frames were warped and you couldn’t even put it on the latch as the metal lever had snapped. There was no hot water for the shower so we were forced to take a cool shower. Not the end of the world but a bit inconvenient. My wife also pointed out that there was nowhere for her to get ready and do her makeup. The room is more than big enough to fit a dressing table in and this would’ve saved her sitting on the floor in front of the mirror to do her hair and makeup. It’s also pricey compared to local competitors. Breakfast was okay but lacking a few basics - no hash brown or black pudding. It would also benefit from a variety of options such as fresh fruit and yogurt. On the whole it was a nice experience but I’d only stay here again if I couldn’t get in anywhere else OR if it was modernised and updated throughout.

J'ai écrit l'e-mail suivant à l'hôtel à la sortie (14 jours avant et sans réponse) Nous avons réservé une chambre familiale, car nous avions notre petit garçon avec nous il est 4 et il n'a pas pu atteindre le plongeon, Vous pouvez envisager d'offrir un pas d'enfant en vendant comme une chambre familiale afin qu'ils puissent atteindre le coucher et monter dans le bain. La cour de douche n'était pas très propre et je ne me sentais pas confortable quand elle était attachée à ma peau pendant la douche. Voir la photo jointe. Il n'y avait pas d'informations sur le Wi-Fi, il n'y avait pas de guide TV sur la télévision, il n'y avait pas de réfrigérateur dans la chambre. Une toilette pour une famille de trois. Je voudrais mentionner que nous étions restés à The Marriot au centre de Birmingham mardi soir et que cette expérience était beaucoup mieux.

This store is located near Snow Hill train station, surrounded by office buildings. There's a police station just 150 meters away, making it feel very safe. The hotel offers free breakfast; although the variety is limited, it's nice to have a cup of coffee in the morning. The rooms are very spacious with great views. Additionally, the shower has strong water pressure, making the overall experience perfect. The price is also reasonable! I would stay here again next time.

Il n'était pas loin de la gare de New Street, mais je crains que je ne dirais pas que l'hôtel est confortable car il y avait des trajets à monter à partir et à partir, donc imaginez prendre ces gros bagages avec vous qui est une tâche énorme et surtout à part les trajets Il y avait aussi les routes rocheuses inégales ! La chambre était propre et spacieuse avec des équipements de cuisine disponibles, mais certaines des équipements devaient être remplacées. La location de l'hôtel était bonne, les liens vers la gare et les attractions. Le lit était confortable et la température de la chambre était contrôlée. La télévision était très petite et dans une position terrible à regarder de l'endormissement.

Bon séjour dans l'hôtel. Belle et propre chambre. Vous avez aimé le petit déjeuner. Cependant, je dois payer un supplément de £12 pour le parc de voiture. Il n'y avait pas d'informations fournies au moment de la réservation et je pensais qu'il serait parking gratuit.
