We had a lovely stay here. The room and hotel were all very clean. The 2 pools were fantastic. The breakfast was great and had a decent selection to choose from. The hotel does not have a bar as advertised, it is just a small fridge with little to choose from. Hotel is a little out the way, however easy to get ubers into the centre/airport. Everything was great about our stay until our experience on the last morning with the man on the 24 hour reception at early hours of the morning. Started shouting and moaning at us for waking him up by using the phone at the reception that was provided. Spoke to us in an very unacceptable manner and was completely out of order and unhelpful. A bitter end to an otherwise lovely stay.

What a lovely hotel! We stayed here at the end of August as a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teenagers). Everything was kept clean and tidy throughout around the pool, cafe and reception areas. The rooms were tidied and cleaned every day by the maids, all other staff around the hotel were very helpful too! Our experience was a very positive one. The apartment was a very good standard for what we wanted, there was 1 bedroom and then a sofa bed in the lounge/kitchen area. The kitchen was basic but enough to make a brew/toast or something simple like pasta. Although slightly out of town we actually enjoyed the location of this hotel. For those that want to go into town the hotel offers a free bus service 3 times per day into Vilamoura which is a bonus when it's hot. If we wanted to stay out later we sometimes used an uber which cost around 5/6euros into town. The hotel was very quiet and you didn't have to fight for sunbeds as there was plenty for everyone! Food was served in the small cafe/restaurant. It was basic but good enough if you don't want to cook or go into town. There is a Spar supermarket literally around the corner (0.2miles walk) which is well equipped with essentials and has a really good variety of fresh foods/bread. Although we didn't go to lay golf the hotel is in a perfect location for golfers as it's not far from some of the famous courses. We would definitely stay here again but I would advise that you check the location before you book. Some of the negative comments about the location do not do this place justice.

Très bon séjour entre amis. Chambre spacieuse très clean avec tout le nécessaire dans la sdb (peignoires) matelas tres confortable. Demi pension tres bien. Petit déjeuner simple mais très bons produits = les vieinnoiseries sont excellentes. Dommage qu au pays de l orange on nous serve un semblant de jus à l eau. Le dîner correct ...peu de choix mais bon. A l exception des desserts minimalistes. Terrasse agréable mais bruyante et incommodantes avec les fumeurs.....la fumée remonte jusque dans les chambres côté piscine et pour se restaurer on prend également de la cigarette plein le nez....il faudrait prévoir un coin repas sur la terrase pour les fumeurs. Extérieur agréable mais exigu et piscine trop petite heureusement correct pour 3 nuits mais pas plus!!!! Personnel exceptionnel très accueillant. Bien pour un court séjour car l environnement est agreable

Hôtel très bien situé offrant une belle chambre avec petit balcon intime. Le lit est super confortable et le service aux chambres ainsi qu'a la réception est impeccable. Le petit déjeuner est servi au dernier étage avec la possibilité de manger a l'extérieur. Petit déjeuner servi style petit buffet qui n'est pas très élaboré mais qui fait l'affaire. Il y a une petit piscine creusée au niveau de la réception de l'hôtel qui est petite mais relaxante .Il y a plusieurs petits restaurants et terrasses autour de l'hôtel et nous étions a 10 minutes de marche de la plage qui est très belle. Nous avons aimé notre séjour

Bon marché et bon, le parking est gratuit, le petit déjeuner est bon pour ce prix

Service parfait. Fonctionnaires super éduqués et sympathiques. Tout était en ordre. Un petit déjeuner avec une bonne variété. Je vais vous indiquer l'Hôtel Altismar, sans compter le coût-avantages, qui a été excellent.
