We recently stayed at the Home2 Suites by Hilton Brantford for five days during a recent visit to the Ontario area. The hotel is a new-ish complex off the highways with convenient access and a fast food complex (Tims, Wendys, KFC, Taco Bell, Indian) within walking distance. The design of the property is to incorporate a few more kitchen-style amenities into a larger room ideal for longer stays (think basement suite but in a hotel). The hotel has a pool with excellent access times (no hot tub), and it also has a fitness center accessible 24/7 along with several meeting rooms for events. Front desk staff (all of them) during check in, extending stay and overall assistance were great. For some reason, one of our key cards deactivated a few times over the course of our stay, which was quickly resolved in both cases. The room was spacious and equipped with a medium sized fridge, freezer, microwave, dishes and cutlery for use. You are able to rent for free a hot plate and cookware if needed (we did not opt to). The furnishings were very nice and modern, the accommodations were clean (sheets, etc.) overall. The only minor faults I noticed were utensils not completely clean - some had water stains and slight residue from prior use. We were very comfortable nevertheless and the blinds were great at keeping the sunlight out. Breakfast was a good offering, however I do have a bit of an issue that it was offered as a “hot breakfast”, The general norm I've come to understand is that a hot breakfast will include hot proteins like eggs, bacon… the only things that were hot were the oatmeal, DIY waffles, toast and breakfast sandwiches after heating them up in the microwave. They also did not rotate or offer variety over the course of the stay (five nights) which became a bit tiresome. Moreover, you have to be on time for breakfast, as they will pull the curtains on you (quite literally) at 9:30. A suggestion to elevate this to a stellar offering would be to consider incorporating a few hot trays (eggs, bacon, sausage) and rotate them with the breakfast sandwiches. Also, some folks felt rushed to grab items at 9:30, so perhaps an extension to 10am may be helpful for late risers. Can't give half circles - a one night stay would've been a 5, but it trended down a bit given the longer stay. Overall, despite the downfalls (which were minor in the grand scheme of things), provided you mix up your breakfast and eat out every now and then for longer stays, the Home2 Suites Brantford is a very good showing indicative of its current rating on TripAdvisor. The value is really good for what you receive, that is if you are willing to be a further distance away from the GTA and Niagara Falls area. Tout le monde à l'hôtel était très serviable. J'avais oublié ma crème à raser et j'ai pu en obtenir à la réception. La chambre était propre et c'était agréable et calme. Un séjour agréable.

Super séjour dans une belle chambre calme et confortable. Très propre et proche de tout ce dont vous avez besoin. Le personnel est très sympathique et incroyablement serviable. Le prix était plus que parfait et je recommanderais certainement de séjourner ici comme je l'ai fait plusieurs fois dans le passé.

Il me fallait aller à Brantford pendant quelques nuits et choisir de rester à l'Holiday Inn Express & Suites Brantford parce que je choisisse toujours IHG Hotels quand je peux. Je suis arrivé plus tard dans la soirée et le check-in était une brise. J'ai réservé une chambre double queen. Chambre 612 est située par l'ascenseur, donc si le bruit est une question pour vous, je demanderais une autre chambre. Le bruit du vent qui m'a été affaibli par le vent, c'était plus comme un bruit blanc pour moi. Je pense qu'il pourrait être plus fort pour les autres. Les cartes clés fonctionnaient sans problème. La chambre était propre et chaleureuse. La salle de bains a un bon miroir avec éclairage qui était excellent pour l'application de maquillage. Je n'ai même pas eu à utiliser ma propre parce que j'aimais la marque et le bruit. La salle de bains avait un tube/du bain. Le tube n'est pas si grand, donc si vous aimez les bains, vous ne l'aimez pas si beaucoup. Le douche était super. Les lits étaient super confortables. Les lits étaient très fermes. Les lits étaient doux et adéquats. La matraque était parfaitement ferme. La chambre était très confortable, et elle était très confortable. Le service de la première chambre est un peu difficile à trouver pour les tissus et les cafés. Je fais avec Front Desk communiquer les checkouts tardifs mieux avec Housekeeping parce que j'avais un checkout tardif et Housekeeping est venue frapper à ma porte 4 fois différentes. Ils font un travail très important et travail difficile pour vous assurer un séjour confortable, alors ne les coupez pas quand ils vous battent pour vérifier si vous êtes toujours là si vous êtes en retard. Ils sont très bien accueillis, mais ils ne sont pas accueillis.

The staff are polite and attentive, the hotel was fully booked but we still received excellent customer service, to them a 5/5, Samantha and the front desk particularly. The beds were comfortable, the linens are getting old and could use an upgrade 3/5. Television was alight, we were here to experience a cultural event so tv wasn't a priority. The downfall and reason for the low score: the dust in the room and vents in bathroom need a deep cleaning. My partner had an asthma attack that brought us the the hospital on our first night, and the second again he was using his emergency puffer. This is an issue that is easily remedied. The bathroom was clean, but there too needs an update to the shower: the curtain needs a replacement as does the shower head. The water pressure and temperature was great! For a full hotel, it was quite quiet. The breakfast bar was typical for this range of hotel and pretty much exactly what is served at this chain, it's not great but gives you something before getting on with your day, and it's free... so why complain? We would probably stay here again if there was more attention paid to the cleanliness.
