Review of Casa Faraona Luxury Residences, Madrid I recently had the pleasure of staying at Casa Faraona Luxury Residences in Madrid, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of elegance and comfort that truly set the tone for our stay. Incredible Room Experience The room we stayed in was nothing short of spectacular. Every detail was meticulously crafted, exhibiting a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. The bed was heavenly, adorned with silky sheets that made it feel like a dream. It was the perfect retreat after a day of exploring the vibrant city. Exceptional Service The service at Casa Faraona was outstanding. The staff were genuinely welcoming, attentive, and eager to ensure our stay was perfect. They went above and beyond to cater to our needs, making us feel like valued guests every step of the way. Delicious Breakfast and Free Cocktails One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast. Each morning, we were treated to a delightful spread that catered to every taste, from fresh pastries to hearty options. Additionally, the complimentary cocktails were a lovely touch, allowing us to unwind and enjoy the ambiance of the residence. Prime Location The location of Casa Faraona Luxury Residences couldn’t be better. Nestled in the heart of Madrid, it provided easy access to some of the city’s top attractions, dining, and shopping. We loved being able to explore the vibrant streets and return to our luxurious oasis at the end of the day. In conclusion, Casa Faraona Luxury Residences exceeded all our expectations. With its stunning rooms, impeccable service, delicious breakfast, complimentary cocktails, and prime location, it offers an unforgettable experience. I can’t wait to return and make more wonderful memories in this beautiful hotel!

La chambre est spacieuse et peut accueillir quatre personnes. Elle est très confortable et propre, absolument parfaite pour un séjour en famille. L'environnement et les équipements sont également bien pensés et pratiques. Pour le petit-déjeuner, nous avons choisi le café communautaire juste à côté de l'hôtel, c'était délicieux. Le hall propose également de l'eau pétillante glacée et de l'eau minérale gratuites à volonté, ce qui était génial pour nous.

L'hôtel est bien situé, entouré de centres commerciaux, de supermarchés et de stations de métro. La pièce est grande, avec un canapé double, une grande table à manger, un réfrigérateur et un four micro-ondes. Le petit déjeuner est riche en variété. Ce qui est rare, c'est que le parking souterrain est gratuit.

L'emplacement est idéal, tout près de l'arrêt de bus 203 pour la gare et l'aéroport. Marcher ne nous pose aucun problème. Il nous a fallu environ 45 minutes pour traverser le parc du Retiro et rejoindre le Musée national d'art Reina Sofía. Le Palais de Cristal est fermé, mais la fontaine devant est charmante. Le chemin du retour le long du Prado, le soir, est également très agréable.

L'emplacement est vraiment excellent, à distance de marche de la gare, sans problème même avec des valises. La réception a appelé un taxi pour l'aéroport pour 38€, ce qui a pris une dizaine de minutes. On peut aussi rejoindre d'autres quartiers de Madrid très rapidement en métro. Par contre, les serviettes et la literie ne sont pas de qualité, et la lumière des toilettes clignote constamment comme une discothèque. Malgré nos signalements à la femme de ménage et à la réception, ça n'a pas été réparé. En résumé, si vous privilégiez la commodité de la gare et ne voulez pas payer cher, c'est un bon endroit. Mais si vous avez les moyens, ne restez pas ici juste pour les transports.

L'emplacement est calme et on peut se rendre au centre-ville à pied. J'ai pu m'enregistrer plus tôt, ce qui était très appréciable, mais j'ai préféré ne pas prendre la chambre au 1er étage car elle était proche de la station-service. J'ai donc dû attendre jusqu'à 15h, ce qui m'a laissé le temps d'aller manger et de revenir pile à l'heure. J'ai pris le petit-déjeuner de l'hôtel pendant 3 jours, et c'était toujours la même chose, je pense que ce n'est pas nécessaire de le réserver car il y a beaucoup de cafés à proximité. Sinon, le rapport qualité-prix est correct.

This review is not about the €9 breakfast charge. I paid for the breakfast because I had eaten it. This review is about how I was treated afterwards. A simple misunderstanding over breakfast escalated into one of the most unprofessional hotel experiences I have ever had. After I politely suggested that the hotel communicate its breakfast policy more clearly to avoid similar misunderstandings in the future, a staff member, Yansel, began shouting at me from outside the hotel, called me back inside, repeatedly accused me of “trying to play with him,” raised his voice throughout the interaction, claimed that he was the manager, refused my request to speak with the General Manager, and aggressively handled my personal belongings. He pushed and kicked my luggage towards the exit, damaged my bags, repeatedly shouted at me to take my belongings and leave, and I also felt mocked while trying to communicate in English instead of being treated with patience and professionalism. As a solo female traveller, I found this behaviour intimidating and completely unacceptable. Guests should be able to raise feedback respectfully without being shouted at, aggressively confronted, or having their belongings handled in this manner. I later spoke with Raul, who was professional, apologised for the way I had been treated, acknowledged that there had been been a misunderstanding regarding the breakfast, confirmed that I was entitled to leave my luggage after check-out, and informed me that Yansel was not the General Manager or the manager. I appreciate Raul’s professionalism. However, that does not change what happened. Based on my experience, I would not recommend staying at Hotel Mayerling Madrid. There are many hotels in Madrid where guests can expect to be treated with professionalism and respect. In my experience, this was not one of them. As a solo female traveller, I did not feel safe after the way this situation was handled. For that reason, I cannot recommend this hotel and would encourage other travellers to consider alternative accommodation.

L'hôtel est bien situé, propre et l'environnement est agréable, mais le service est moyen. Quand j'ai posé des questions sur la navette de l'aéroport, ils n'ont pas été très clairs. Il n'y avait pas non plus de panneaux indiquant où prendre le bus de l'aéroport. Pour ne pas perdre de temps, j'ai préféré prendre un taxi.

Idéal pour ceux qui souhaitent séjourner près de l'aéroport à un prix avantageux. Très bon hôtel avec un excellent service (notamment grâce à Bianca à la réception). Il dispose d'un bon restaurant et la chambre était spacieuse et propre. Un peu éloigné du centre-ville pour les visites touristiques, les trajets en Uber sont chers (environ 20 € par trajet) et les transports en commun sont longs.
