Upgraded to a Loft suite. Excellent (once the air conditioner unit was explained). Staff great. Housekeeping a bit too eager. On site restaurant Liberty's seems slow and disorganized, even for South Africa and especially for a Hilton's. Free shuttle to V&A Waterfront every two hours. Walking distance to the Old Biscuit Mill (a Saturday morning must-do). Regular and reliable taxi service around Cape Town at reasonable rates, for drop off and pickup. Airport shuttle. Neighborhood was very safe Don't pre-book tours before you get here; Yasir and his team will take good care of you.

Taj est toujours un standard d'or dans tous les aspects de l'hospitalité. À partir du bureau frontal au personnel de garde de la maison, tout le monde vous fait sentir à la maison. À Cape Town, c'est vraiment le meilleur. Extrêmement poli et bien conduit personnel et bienvenu à tout moment. Le petit déjeuner est étonnant et une très grande diffusion. Les chambres sont si confortables et spacieuses qu'il est en fait une maison loin de chez elle. Certains des membres du personnel sont étonnamment utiles. Il sera certainement là encore.

L'hôtel Cape Town Lodge était parfaitement situé. Le personnel était si amical et efficace. Mon chambre avait une vue magnifique sur la montagne de table et était absolument parfait pour ma visite d'affaires. La chambre était décorée et propre. J'ai laissé mon pote dans la chambre et le personnel de l'hôtel l'a envoyé à moi à Durban.

We stayed for a week in April while attending a conference at the Convention Centre. We had a room on the second floor facing the shipping containers near the cruise terminal. In spite of the disappointing view, the room was spacious and comfortable. The restocking of the room was random and we had to ask for water bottles or lotion. The breakfast buffet was included and the staff were wonderful. For a few days they had a separate table with vegan and gluten free items. The other days I would just ask and they would bring me gf bread or vegan yogurt. They have a shuttle going to the waterfront 3 times in the day but we never took it as the timings did not suit us. Ubers were cheap and easy to take to and from the hotel. We stored our luggage at the hotel for a few days while we went on safari and then we returned for one more night before heading home. The room we got the second time was on the third floor and we could hear a frequent loud drilling sound. The front desk didn't know where the sound was coming from but they upgraded us to a suite on the 5th floor which was huge and had a view of table mountain. This was much appreciated as we were exhausted and had a very long flight home the next day. On our final day we took the water taxi (which was a tour boat) along the canal to the V&A waterfront. This also is included by the hotel and they issue a ticket and you get the boat behind the hotel. We noticed how easy it would be to walk to the waterfront too (in daylight). The front desk staff told us not to walk to/from the convention centre after 6pm when it was dark as it was dangerous. There were guards stationed at the roundabout towards the hotel but we were told they were there to keep baboons away. We walked the short 5 minute walk in the mornings and took an uber at night. This hotel and breakfast made it worth the money, but request a room facing table mountain. Front desk staff and security were also excellent.

Nous avons eu une arrivée à 10 h, nous avons donc réservé notre première nuit ici, et nous sommes si heureux de l'avoir fait. Nous avons également été heureux de prendre les conseils de l'hôtel et de réserver un conducteur pour nous prendre la courte distance tardive de la nuit -- seulement ZAR 130, sûr et efficace. Personnel très aimable et utile, chambre scrupuleusement propre, confortable, lit confortable. Grand stand de douche. Il n'y a pas d'ascenseur ou d'ascenseur, donc le porteur a certainement gagné son conseil pour transporter nos bagages sur les escaliers! Et le meilleur de tous était le petit-déjeuner buffet -- peut-être le meilleur buffet écrasé d'œufs, sauces goûtantes, porridge chaud/poisson, salade avec pommes de terre et noix de pin; choix de céréales, salade de fruits frais, yogurt; plus toast, croissants, pâtisseries, thé, - Un café.

L'hôtel est beau, avec décoration différente. Location devant une place, qui pendant la nuit peut être dangereux pour marcher. Chambre confortable, mais avec quelques particularités qui ne vous plaisaient pas: lits de mariage (même en étant un couple), sans amenities, salle de bain sans douche, interrupteurs de prise seulement à l'entrée de la chambre. Café de petit déjeuner avec peu d'options et de repas gras, mal préparé. Nous sommes hébergés pendant 3 jours et c'était OK, mais je ne reviendrais pas.
