Hôtels 4 étoiles prisés à Chiang Khong

We were extremely disappointed with this hotel. The room was in poor condition with broken doors poorly patched up doors into the bathroom, safe not working and a bed that was as hard as lying on concrete. The view was great from the balcony across the Mekong but that was the only good thing about this hotel room. There were a few other guests staying there at the same time as us but they left early because the noise from functions in their function room downstairs was extreme, and went on night after night until the early hours, Then the participants were allowed to go into other areas of the lower floor to continue the drunken behaviors without any intervention from staff. The other privately booked patrons all left early because nothing was done to control these people. We were the only ones left. Breakfast was determined by the choices made by the function groups, and is not the buffet breakfast the claim to provide and is not the breakfast we paid for as they describe. If you really feel the need to stay at this place you would be better going for a short walk along the river and having breakfast elsewhere because the breakfasts offered were poor and most of it was cold. The hotel also is reported to have a restaurant. True it does but they will only offered us a choice of 3 dishes that is the same as the function is offering to their participants. We had our order taken from these 3 dish menu only to then sit there for nearly an hour waiting for the food. The order was taken by the restaurant manager, but he chose to go to another table and sit with the hotel manager and drink beer and eat a huge bowl of chips. We are not sure if the order was even given to the kitchen staff, and when we asked what was going on there was no explanation, we were just asked to wait another 15 minutes. When we complained again it was magically there in about 5 minutes. We found other places to eat after that. The pool and the free use of hotel bicycles were pluses. The pool was well shaded from the sun, was clean and refreshing. There are bike tracks right outside the hotel along the river which are flat and easy to ride. Very few of the staff had any English, which is fine considering its Thailand, but even when you translated to Thai for them they were not helpful (particularly the management). They were solely focused on the groups in the functions and we felt very much like inconveniences in their way. I normally don't give reviews for a bad hotel but this place was exceptionally uncomfortable and poorly managed. In short we would never stay at this hotel again and suggest anyone that is considering this hotel look at one of the many other hotels that are nearby, and be assured any on the riverfront the same views of the river, with often better rates for their rooms and restaurants where they value your patronage.

Très très satisfait, l'environnement est très beau, l'hôtel est entier entouré de plantes, la piscine sans bord est très agréable, situé sur le bord du fleuve de Mekong, vous pouvez voir le fleuve de Mekong et les chauves-souris de l'autre côté, ainsi que le chaud japonais, très professionnel et propre, il y a une dame chinoise, Le service est particulièrement attentif, le petit déjeuner est également très bon, l'hôtel est spécialement hygiénique, très calme, la conception de la décoration est très bonne

La chambre est spacieuse, bonne sonnerie, propre, bon service.

Si vous voulez vous détendre et être hors de la ville, c'est là que vous devriez être. Nous n'avons séjourné qu'une nuit sur notre chemin vers la frontière du Laos, le Mekong. Les chambres sont magnifiques. Grandes, propres, confortables lits et con air. Le bonus est la piscine. Le restaurant est très confortable et très confortable. Nous avions envisagé de terminer notre tour à Phuket, sa fille y habitait et a loué un logement. Elle l'a appelée, et a offert des conseils sur la localisation. Alors que nous n'avons pas réservé quelque chose, les informations étaient très bienvenues. Le propriétaire John, nous a offert de nous courir dans la ville si nous voulions partir. Nous n'avons pas fait ça, mais l'offre était très réfléchie. Nous resterons certainement ici encore.

Lorsque vous trouverez un endroit où dormir dans un lit confortable et vous avez un bain avec de l'eau chaude en abondance, vous ne pouvez pas demander plus .... Les chambres, toutes, sont un fil bruyant car étant en bois, les voix et les bruits se sentent et vous transmettent . Mais si vous payez 10€ pour un double alors le tableau est complet.

La chambre spacieuse est confortablement arrangée: un bureau avec une chaise, une table avec deux chaises (ce qui est rare). L'hôtel dispose d'un lit blanc-neige. Il y a une zone publique pour un café gratuit. L'hôtel est à deux minutes de la belle embankement de Mekonga. Accès direct de la rue principale, il n'est pas nécessaire de chercher. De la partie inférieure - parking pour seulement trois sièges de voiture.

I had a great stay at Sleeping Well in Chiang Khong, a cozy and comfortable guesthouse in the charming town of Chiang Khong, near the border with Laos. The owner, Nok, was very friendly and helpful, she gave me a warm welcome and arranged a transfer to the border for me. The room was spacious, clean and well-equipped, with a balcony overlooking the Mekong river. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. The breakfast was delicious and generous, with fresh fruits, eggs, toast, coffee and juice. The guesthouse also has a lovely garden and a common area where you can relax and meet other travelers. The location is convenient, close to the main street, the market and the pier. I highly recommend Sleeping Well in Chiang Khong if you are looking for a peaceful and pleasant place to stay in this area

Nous avons découvert cet hôtel en cherchant un endroit pour rester devant un saut frontalier au Laos, mais il est rapidement devenu un endroit préféré pour nous venir à se reposer. Les aliments surtout le poulet de citron, les rouleaux de printemps, le riz frit, et le courrois de masse sont vraiment parmi les meilleurs plats que nous avons goûtés dans toute la Thaïlande.
