Visited Giulianova, my families hometown, to bring my Papa’s remains back for a celebration of life ceremony and internment in the family mausoleum. Stayed at Hotel Cristallo on the recommendation of friends from the area. Stayed in an older room with balcony overlooking the Lido and ocean. Gorgeous views morning and night! Having the metal exterior hurricane shades to draw down in the evening made the room extra dark to sleep and provided additional soundproofing from the boulevard noise and the hotels street front outdoor patio bar, which had entertainment until around 10-11 every evening. It was lovely music and we didn’t mind sitting on the balcony listening. The room is very dated. I understand they are renovating and hope they complete it soon. Currently has a very retro 1970’s feel to it. The room was ample in size with a large closet, small drawers, and in room fridge. The bed was queen size, very comfortable with end tables. No usb charging or electric plugs on the stands. Floors are tile nice and cool. AC was sufficient, typical Italian AC, not so cool but enough to keep you comfortable. It was connected to the slider for the balcony- when you open the slider, it turned off until you closed the slider. The balcony had a convenient drying rack for bathing suits and towels. The bathroom was large, except for the shower which was very narrow for the size of the bath. The water pressure was decent. The bathroom had a bidet and plenty of drying racks for wet items. It did not have a hairdryer, but had a magnifying mirror. The rooms lights were controlled by your key, place your key card in the wall Trey near the door to activate the light switches. Take it out and the light switches do not work. This also activates a light system on the outside alerting housekeeping to the occupancy of the room. The elevator system was very easy to use, we never had to wait for such a small unit. There are also stairs which we used to work off the wonderful food we indulged in at breakfast! Breakfast was a semi American, with the addition of hard boiled eggs, bacon, toast, oa**eal, yogurt, granola to the traditional Italian breakfast of pastries, meat, cheese and coffee. Waitstaff bring you coffee per your order and the remainder is a buffet. The breakfast room is lovely, full glass walls overlooking the side street and small park. Aperitivo hour was lovely sitting on the street side patio! Waitstaff were attentive with little bites to eat with our cocktails. We sat for hours talking and enjoying the ocean breeze and people watching on the lido. The reception and staff were pleasant and welcoming. Registration and checkout were easy and went quickly. Parking was difficult. We parked once and walked everywhere we could when we could. We did not use the hotel beach, but used a friends private beach club about 1/2 mile north of the hotel. Nous avons décidé avec enthousiasme de passer un court séjour d'une nuit. Nous déciderons par l'intermédiaire d'un portail d'entreprise affilié à l'expéditeur de réserver dans cette structure, le seul problème que nous ne pouvons pas réserver pour le même jour, mais pour le jour suivant, néanmoins, Nous appelons dans la structure pour savoir s'ils pourraient nous opposer, ils nous disent rapidement qu'il y a une soute à 220 euros et qu'ils auraient pu nous réserver la chambre en nous accompagnant et en répondant au problème tout à fait bureaucratique du portail. Nous allons acheter sur le portail envoyé une chambre standard mais en ligne avec le coût pour un total de 223€ .Arrivés dans la structure, il arrive la surprise amer, nous demandent de payer une commission de 50€ telle que rejette l'absence de la commission qui Nous essayons de faire comprendre que si nous faisions cela, notre chambre aurait eu un coût total de 273 € , que nous ne pouvons pas entrer dans certaines dynamiques d'accord entre la structure et l'expédition. Moral de la fabule, nous sommes contraints de rester dans la structure car la réservation faite en bonne foi et ignorer la amare surprise a été faite sous une forme non remboursable!! Nous déciderons de nous mettre en souutes apparemment tout propre et agréable après quelques secondes, commencer le voyage ... Nous nous trouvons comme si nous étions pendeurs d'un train en pleine course, nous sommes à distance du chemin de fer, chambre non en ligne avec les standard d'un hôtel 4 étoiles, non insonorisé, fenêtre de bains inefficace qui ne permet pas d'aspirer de tout odeur ou vapeur, murs minces avec voix au fond. Il y aurait beaucoup d'autres à améliorer sur le service bar et le petit déjeuner personnel. Nous attendons que la structure nous contrevienne avec une forme de médiation, mais n'a pas montré de volonté en faveur du client.

L’hôtel est très bien situé face à la mer adriatique par contre une rue passante sépare l’hôtel de la plage mais on s ‘y fait ! Nous s’y sommes aller en saison plus calme (Octobre ) beaucoup de restos étant fermés et l’hôtel n’offrait que le petit déjeuner continental avec café ,cappuccinos thé à volonté seul bémol les fruits y était inexistants .La chambre était assez grande avec fenêtre et porte sans moustiquaires les lits simples étaient confortables par contre la literie est très rudimentaire bien que propre mais rien de réconfortant couverture de laine rêche petit couvre lit mince qui est plus de l ordre des Motel du Québec .Les chambres sont très peu insonorisées on entends très bien les bébés qui pleurent dans les chambres à côtés et télévisions.Le coulis dans la salle de bain à pris la moisissure et aurait besoin d’être refait ainsi que sur le balcon de plus même avec un adapteur mon fer plat n’a pu survivre ,il semble qu’il ne peuvent avoir de fer à repasser dans les chambres mais les autres commodities étaient au rendez-vous .La Picine étant fermé pour la saison nous n’avons pu profiter de la terrasse extérieure qui semblait super bien aménagée et en fleurs .Tout le personnel est super professionnel,courtois et serviable il est fort probable que l’ambiance doit être tout autre pendant la haute saison avec tout les services de commodité que nous n’avons pu retrouver en basse saison .

Abbiamo soggiornato una settimana in questo delizioso agriturismo che in effetti è proprio a ridosso di una bella caletta da dove bagnarsi e un obbligo. Splendida location con un grande giardino coltivato a prato inglese dove dono inseriti degli ombrelloni e relative sdraio da dove ci si può rilassare se non si vuole andare in spiaggia. Sempre nel grande giardino e sistemato un grande gazebo con i tavoli per un piacevole pranzo o cena. Le colazioni superbe in una sala dove la signorina Melissa ti accompagna passo passo per un inizio giornata con dei dolci strepitosi. Le camere tutte dotate di aria condizionata, perfette per la vacanza con un terrazzino dove la sera prendere un po' di fresco prima di uscire. Poi come non considerare i ragazzi che preparano i servizi per i pasti, educatissimi e professionali. On my very first day i asked the staff to change the room as it was sitting next to a family with babies who would cry and scream non stop. Staff managed to find a better room to move me in. The 2nd room interior design was a little better than the first one. On my second night i was woken up at night by drunk ppl talking and singin next door and then by the cleaning ladies during the morning. Rooms are NOT soundproof at all. I was expecting at least a little soundproof for a 4 stars tbh but whatever. Pro: - Rooms are clean - Staff is friendly - Beachfront - pools Cons: - Small can be small for some - Noisy
