Wir waren zum ersten Mal am Achensee, das Fürstenhaus hatten wir online entdeckt und dann direkt gebucht. Wichtig für Selbstanreiser (wahrscheinlich die meisten): rund ums Hotel gibt es quasi keine Parkplätze, überall Halteverbot. Somit bleibt einem damit nur die Tiefgarage und die kostet leider extra. Die Ankunft war sehr stilvoll, wir haben Sekt bzw. O-Saft und Pralinen erhalten. Unser Zimmer mit Seeblick war traumhaft, einziges Manko waren die für uns zu dünnen Decken, da nachts recht kalt. An der Rezeption erhielten wir extra- Wolldecken, diese waren jedoch auch nur sehr dünn. Ebenso traumhaft der Wellness- und Fitnessbereich. Das Abendessen hatten wir nicht gebucht, können es also nicht bewerten. Von anderen Gästen haben wir jedoch eine gewisse Unzufriedenheit gehört. Das Essen orientiert sich an ”gehobener Gastronomie”, wer etwas richtig traditionelles tirolerisches sucht wird also zumindest ein wenig enttäuscht werden. Ebenso gehoben sind die Preise für das Abendessen, zu zweit haben wir inkl. Nachtisch in nahegelegenen Restaurants etwa so viel gezahlt wie das Hotel für eine Person und Abend veranschlagt. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, positiv hervorzuheben sind die langen Buffetzeiten. Ein kleines Manko sind die Säfte aus einem Automaten, wahrscheinlich aus Saftkonzentrat und kein Direktsaft. Auch die von uns probierten Kuchen waren etwas trocken, sonst jedoch alles super. Wofür das Hotel nichts kann, was man jedoch beachten sollte: außerhalb der Hauptsaison im Sommer/Winter, insbesondere dann auch während der Woche ist am Achensee wenig los. Toll zum entspannen, jedoch nicht so toll, wenn man irgendwas unternehmen will und vieles zu ist. Insgesamt würde ich mir wünschen, dass man pro Nacht ein paar Euro weniger zahlen müsste, dann würde ich volle 5 Sterne vergeben, 4 sind es aber auf jeden Fall.
