I am not usually the type of person who takes up my spare time leaving negative reviews but unfortunately I couldn’t my let experience with this hotel go unmentioned. I’ve worked in hospitality for a number of years I and I fully understand how negative feedback can damage a hotels reputation so I will make this as informative and constructive as I can do. Our party arrived late into the evening around 10:30pm to a check in process which was seamless and efficient but unfortunately we were not offered an arrival drink of any sort Infact we had to get our own glasses and fill they from a dispenser on the bar. However after being there for a number of days and watching other people checking in we noticed they were offered a drink weather that was a cocktail or water. I think more consistency with all guest no matter what time they checking in.I am almost certain this was missed due the the time we were checking in but with the hotel being so small and fairly open and guest constantly watching other people check in you’d want a pretty consistent process for all guest. There was also a deposit to pay for each of the room that was not mentioned anywhere when booking this holiday so please be prepared we had 3 rooms which totalled to around €500 it would of been nice to of been told about this rather than it to come as a surprise. All 3 rooms we had booked were different in size but were all specked the same. The TV’s were a good size, safes, Coffee machines, mini fridge, A/C which was extremely hit and miss we couldn’t seem to get the temperature right atall. Unfortunately when we took a shower it caused the majority of the floor surrounding to flood and it did become quite slippy. It would be interesting to know if the chemical used on the floor to clean it was anti slip and if not I would certainly suggest changing it myself and my partner both nearly took a fall of different occasions. The rooms were cleaned very well each day and fresh towels added if needed. Unfortunately the front door does not close by itself it gets so far and get stuck and does need human assistant to close it fully very unsafe we found this out by coming back from a evening meal to find the door had not close itself behind us. Moving on to the breakfast I think for us most defiantly the best part of the hotel. Great variety well cooked and the staff were always on hand for coffees. Although sometimes abit too eager to take unfinished plates away. My partner got up to get some water and when she came back her half eaten omelette had been taken. The pool area was keep fairly clean through our stay this was the case for the whole of the hotel but it is extremely small and come late morning/early afternoon you’d defiantly struggle to get a bed around the pool. We found beds that are made for 2 people were being used for single person use with most couples using 1 bed per person defiantly more policing by the life guard asking couples to use only 1 bed per 2 people will

We are huge fans of the Balearic Islands but this was the first time we had visited Ibiza. We were seeking a quieter break so following research we decided Santa Eulalia was where we wanted to stay and chose to book the Catalonia Royal Ses Etaques hotel. We had a fantastic stay and really cannot fault the hotel. We booked a junior suite on a bed and breakfast basis. We were pleasantly surprised with the size of the room, it had a large hallway/entrance with a large amount of wardrobe/storage space along with safe, mini bar fridge and tea and coffee. The bathroom was very modern with one of the largest showers I've ever seen, 2 separate rain showers along with 2 hand held showers. Other facilities of the room included weighing scales in the bathroom and robes and slippers. The bed was large (super king) and comfortable and the view from the room was perfect - all rooms having a sea view. The only slight ****** would be the lack of any shade on the balcony. Although there were loungers with umbrellas and bali beds in the garden and the roof top pool which were great it would have been nice to sit on the balcony without being in the full glare of the sun. A very minor issue though and did not spoil our stay. Breakfast as others have said is in a separate building a short walk from the hotel. Breakfast was great with everything you could want including an egg cooking station. Coffee was made to order which is a big plus from me as I'm not a fan of machine coffee. The staff at breakfast as with the rest of the hotel were all very friendly. It was my husband's birthday during our stay and the hotel made it very special from wishing him a Happy Birthday at breakfast, bringing us a glass of cava each to toast the occasion along with delivering a bottle of cava to the room that evening - really lovely touches that make such a difference. The hotel has complimentary snacks available at 4pm each day - sandwiches, fruit, juices and coffee which is another nice touch. We stayed bed and breakfast eating at the many tapas restaurants in Santa Eulalia on an evening. The hotel is a short walk to the marina, perfect setting for a cocktail at sunset before dinner. Our first visit to Ibiza exceeded our expectations and we had a wonderful, relaxing break. We would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again.

The location of the hotel is lovely with a easy walk into the harbour , town and the other way a nice coastal path that goes all the way to Es Cana . We had a 5 th floor room overlooking the harbour this does also look onto a boatyard where work starts at 08.00 in the morning, it didn't bother us as this is the time we would be waking anyway and the view made up for it . The rooms are spacious extremely clean with the comfiest bed I have ever had on a holiday , shower wasn't the best but was adequate. Very quiet at night had really good sleeps . Food was plentiful with lots of choices did hear some complain but we found it to be OK some nights better than others , gorgeous Salmon one night and lovely paella, good salad bar , cheese and biscuits choice of meats , fish , soup oh and tasty porridge in the morning. We found all staff in all areas to be very helpful and friendly. Would definitely return. Thanks to all the staff .
W Ibiza
