1. J'ai séjourné à l'hôtel avec un peu d'anticipation et d'attentes. La raison en est que j'ai lu de nombreuses critiques avant de réserver. Certains ne sont pas très bons, la plupart sont de vieux équipements et l'attitude du service est médiocre. L'ancien équipement est un fait. Service Je pense que l'attitude est correcte, le beau serveur au comptoir, bon anglais et bonne attitude ! 2. Un peu perplexe, venez vous enregistrer pendant la basse saison, le tarif de l'hôtel est bas, mais la chambre pour nous est un mur de montagne, il n'y a pas de vue du tout type de chambre, l'ambiance est déçue ! 3. L'hôtel est divisé en un bâtiment principal et un bâtiment annexe. Il est évalué que quelqu'un a séjourné dans le bâtiment annexe, même le restaurant pour le petit-déjeuner, et le restaurant du bâtiment principal n'est pas un grade. Le bâtiment principal. Effectivement, rester dans le bâtiment principal, le restaurant du petit-déjeuner est trop beau, le petit-déjeuner est également excellent, c'est le plus gros point fort du séjour !

I visited this medical Spa without a hotel reservation, in order to get some relaxation, treatment and other possible activates that may be beneficial for the body and health. it was June 2023 after I found the castle Spa closed. I spoke to the reception who told me that they don't have any medical offers like the castle spa, but they only treat the patients that staying at the hotel depending on the condition they came for. Anyway, they allowed me to enter the medical spa and see what possible procedure I can have. They choose for me 6 procedures as per the availability and don't need a doctor consultation. I remember 3 of them which were… Thai massage – Oxygen therapy – Bubbly Magnesium bath.. In additional to use the Sauna, steam and swimming pool. Anyway, they allowed me to enter the medical spa and see what possible procedures I could have. They chose 6 procedures based on availability and don't require a doctor's consultation. My impression after I finished: »it's really doesn't worth it« The place is very cool, clean and amazing like a palace. The staff was very very helpful, polite and nice talking. I really thank you all. Treatment, or let's say procedures – activities. Etc. - the ones I got were very ordinary and neither I nor my body needed them. I regretted not getting the two-hour Thai massage session available in the designated Thai shops within the town, along with all the other services attached to it. it will be better, comfortable and satisfaction.

The building is impressive, enthroned up on the east hillside of Karlovy Vary. Habsburgian vibes reminiscent of ancient days. Imperial is in good condition and nicely renovated. The scale of the building is huge and dimensioned for thousands of guests. Walking around takes quite a bit of time but with lesser amount of guests than the mentioned thousand, it feels quite lonely to stroll the corridors... The public areas are mostly beautiful, but the five official stars... no, unfortunately not. What is lacking? Well, the scale of the property demands to keep it running. To keep it running you have to have a lot of guests. Thus, you have to attract people who not usually are in the ”five star category”. And so they (try to) do. Many things turn to ”cantina” standard in respect of both the reception and ”handling” of the guests and the dining options. Very tired staff at check in. One example: in the main lobby there are only two elevators, whereof one at our visit was out of order. Another elevator in another part of the hotel did not serve all the floors. Nah.... Rooms are renovated and just fine. All amenities and a good night's sleep in comfy beds. Nice with a small balcony. For those having some sort of boarding agreement, dinner is served as a buffet dinner in the magnificent ”Prague restaurant” with lavish decoration. A buffet is hardly a concept in a real five star hotel and we consequently had dinner in the more intimate ”Restaurant Paris” - see my separate review. In ”Prague” breakfast is also served, which proved to be a great gathering of all the hotel guests at the same time. More like a school cantina than a five star hotel. Everything in place though, and most thing you would want is there to find. Queues to the coffee machines... Parking was ”doen the hill” and we ended up parking on a tennis court (!). OK - no problem, but not in the ballpark of attending staff helping you with the parking facilities. Staff correct and polite. But very stiff. And tired. Many steps behind service of a true 5-star. It's about price/performance. We had the opportunity to stay at three different hotels at Karlovy Vary during our stay. And one of those was the Grandhotel Pupp, which we considered to be much more lika a true five star. AND they are/were cheaper! So, you may well stay at Imperial, just for the sake of the building's eminent history and athmosphere. But be aware that days gone by since the turn of the century does not apply in the respecto of ”grand” anymore.

Un séjour inoubliable dans l'un des meilleurs hôtels de tout Karlovy Vary ! Il a répondu à nos attentes en tous points. Dès notre arrivée, notre voiture a été garée et nos bagages portés dans notre chambre. Le réceptionniste Maxim était absolument parfait. Il était très sympathique et nous a conseillé sur les endroits à visiter à Karlovy Vary - il nous a même montré tout sur une carte. La chambre était très spacieuse et avait tout ce dont vous pouviez avoir besoin, surtout la vue était à couper le souffle. Pour le petit-déjeuner, nous vous recommandons d'essayer les crêpes ou les omelettes que les chefs préparent juste pour vous avec tout ce que vous aimez. L'espace bien-être était idéal pour se détendre après une longue journée de visites, le sauna et la piscine étaient exactement ce dont nous avions besoin ! C'était un séjour absolument parfait que nous devrons répéter bientôt.

C'est facile dans le plus haut niveau d'hôtels que j'ai visités. A) Personnel aimable, utile et attentif qui vous fait sentir à la maison et qui vous assure qu'ils répondent à vos souhaits. B) Quelle qualité de nourriture. Je ne réserve pas habituellement un paquet d'hôtels, choisir de manger dans les restaurants voisins, mais ici nous avons réservé l'option pleine et nous aimions chaque plat unique. La nourriture était fraîche, faite pour commander et toute l'expérience de manger avait le bon mélange de ”fancy” (les gardiens apportant des plats en même temps pour la table entière) et ”casual” (les gardiens échangant des plats du menu si le temps est autorisé, les gardiens se moquent le cas échéant). C) Une grande propreté et une grande forme des installations en général. L'hôtel se sent bien nouveau, même si il est entouré depuis quelques années. Les chambres sont propres 2 fois par jour. Dans l'ensemble, l'un de mes hôtels préférés de tous les temps, même par rapport aux grands noms de fantaisie comme St Regis (New York, Abu Dhabi) ou les marques boutiques de luxe.

My wife and I lodged one night at this hotel, while travelling. The room was excellent and rather large. The place is quite big, so getting from the reception to our room and vice versa was a bit complicated, also because you have to use your access pass every time you take an elevator. The receptionists are not sufficiently fluent in English, or don't speak English at all. They did not suggest that I could speak German instead. The breakfast was very nice, with ample choice. The dinner procedure was a bit special... we gave our room number at the restaurant entrance desk and made our choices from the menu. There was no bill or receipt at the end and no signature asked. When I asked the restaurant personnel for the bill, they didn't understand. The drinks, in our case a bottle of wine, were provided by the bar in the room next to the restaurant. Personnel is not taking the drinks order, you have to go to the bar yourself and order it there and you can only pay by card, they do not accept cash. On checkout, next morning, I could pay for the dinner, but only by card, because the receptionist did not have cash change, she said. I would suggest, that the hotel's management thoroughly review all customer interaction processes (reception area, restaurant, bar), because these are inefficient and sometime even unpleasant! The place itself, Karlovy Vary city centre, makes great photographs, but I would rate it 'disappointing' in terms of outdoor amenities. There are countless overpriced jewlery shops, but only a few nice restaurants and bars. If you have seen Karlovy Vary once, you don't need to see it again...

Ils étaient à la fin de décembre. L'entreprise de 7 personnes. Occupant 4 chambres: famille, deux doubles et une chambre. Le problème commun de toutes les chambres est le nettoyage des meubles, l'absence de stylos de meubles, le débris de tapis et sauf pour les lits à un arrêt, le piotage dur.Les cracs dans les murs et les plafonds - incompétentment cachée imitation du plastique italien. Chaînes de télévision à haute performance. Ouvrez les portes des sous-salles avec fermeture électronique, personnel minimum pour l'ensemble de l'hôtel. Un petit déjeuner très modeste. Hygiène personnelle minimale. Dans plusieurs chambres, les lustres et les bras cristallins ont identifié un remplacement inapproprié des suspensions. Wir waren auf der Suche nach einem hundefreundlichen Hotel, was die Auswahl oft schon wieder ein bisschen einschränkt. Beim Hotel Palacky überzeugten hauptsächlich die Lage und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Das Hotel befindet sich in traumhafter Lage direkt in der Stará Louka, der ”Flaniermeile” Karlsbads. Sowohl die berühmten Kolonnaden als auch der Eingang zur Seilbahn Richtung Aussichtsturm ”Diana” befinden sich fast um die Ecke. Schlafen konnte ich in den Betten erstaunlicherweise sehr gut und kann mich den Beschwerden zumindest in diesem Punkt nicht anschließen. Nun zu den Punkten, die leider negativ aufgefallen sind: Zum Check-In war die Rezeption nicht besetzt, unser Schlüssel lag zusammen mit einem Infoschreiben auf dem Tresen - das ist zwar unkompliziert, jedoch hätte jeder einfach hereinkommen und in unser gebuchtes Zimmer ”einziehen” können, da nichts vorgezeigt oder kontrolliert werden musste (wie auch?!). Das Zimmer selbst war groß und verfügte über einen zusätzlichen Flur und getrenntes Bad und WC - was ich persönlich sehr komfortabel finde. Leider wurde das Zimmer während des gesamten Aufenthalts nicht gereinigt. Es muss nicht jeden Tag ein Großputz stattfinden, das macht man zu Hause schließlich auch nicht. Auch das tägliche Wechseln der Handtücher finde ich unnötig. Aber wenn man einen Hund dabei hat und das gesamte Zimmer mit Teppich ausgelegt ist, wäre ein wenig Staubsaugen schon angebracht gewesen. Auch der Müll sollte geleert werden, denn es gab für das gesamte Zimmer lediglich einen kleinen Hygieneeimer in der Toilette - dort musste dann notgedungen alles entsorgt werden, was an Abfällen anfiel. Der Vorrat an Toilettenpapier sollte auch zwischendurch einmal kontrolliert und bei Bedarf aufgefüllt werden. In der Fensterscheibe unseres Zimmers entdeckten wir einen ziemlich großen Riss - gefährlich und unansehnlich! Was allerdings täglich gereinigt wurde, war das Restaurant welches sich im Hotel befindet. Dort wurde täglich zur Frühstückszeit gestaubsaugt, sodass man während des Essens immer dem Lärm ausgesetzt war, da sich das Restaurant - mit offener Decke - direkt unter dem Frühstückraum befindet. Selbstverständlich ist es lobenswert und auch akzeptabel, dass täglich gestaubsaugt wird, allerdings frage ich mich, ob man das nicht absprechen und anders planen kann. Frühstück gab es bis 10 Uhr - vielleicht kann man zuerst andere Tätigkeiten verrichten und ab 10 Uhr staubsaugen? Durch die Raumaufteilung des Hauses hat man zwangsläufig den Eindruck, dass direkt neben dem Esstisch gesaugt wird. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, man sollte in dieser Preis- und Hotelkategorie auch keinen Luxus erwarten. Es war ausreichend Auswahl vorhanden, es wurde immer nachgefüllt und man wurde satt - zu Hause habe ich auch keine 5 Brotsorten vorrätig, die ich täglich serviere. Ein bisschen mehr Auswahl an Obst wäre jedoch schön gewesen (es gab täglich Äpfel, aber mehr auch nicht). Leider gibt es keinen hoteleigenen Parkplatz - das sollte man

Das Hotel in Karlsbad ist zweifellos das Beste in der Umgebung und hat eine einzigartige Ausstrahlung. Es befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe zu Goethes Gasthaus, was besonders faszinierend ist, da Goethe Karlsbad als eine der drei Städte bezeichnete, in denen er gerne leben würde. Die Tatsache, dass das Hotel freie Nutzung von Sauna und Wellnessanlagen bietet, macht den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer. Die zentrale Lage des Hotels ist ebenfalls ein großer Pluspunkt. Insgesamt bietet es ein ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Le centre de la ville est très bien situé, mais il est très bien situé. Je dois dire qu'il n'y avait pas de reconstruction près, donc nous avons même eu la chance de prendre un bon soir nap; l'hôtel est super proche du centre, mais encore calme!!! Il est vrai qu'il est plus haut de la colline, mais il est parfaitement accessible par un taxi qui nous a toujours pris devant le bâtiment. Ne oubliez pas de visiter leur spa privé! Tout était si propre et nouveau; nous nous sentions comme au ciel. Il y avait une cérémonie au sommet. Nous avons eu une grande impression de l'hôtel!! Nous reviendrons certainement l'année prochaine.
