Alimounda Mare Hotel

Karpathos|À 0.35km de la Captain Konstantinos Iliakis Monument
The rooms were good, nice interior and okay cleanliness. The hotel could use som fixing. The whole week there was a lamp loose I the children’s pool, it was just lying at the bottom, but didn’t get fixed. Tiles missing around the pool and the ladder was loose too. The staff at the breakfast buffet was were rude. Rolling eyes and laughing at you when you asked for stuff. There is thin filter coffee for breakfast and when we asked if there was a possibility for a cappuccino, we were informed by the waiter that we could get 1 cappuccino pr person every morning. We waited the 30-40 mins for this. The next morning another waiter didn’t know about this, so we had to discuss it with the waiter every morning. The breakfast buffet was just ok. Powder scramble egg, dry croissants and has brown potato’s. Dirty dishes, and the staff was emptying dishes right next to your tables. We found out on day 3 that there was an omelette station. No signs to tell you that. You had to ask. But they were great at putting up signs with restrictions, they were all over the hotel. The worst part of the hotel is the hotel manager whom is very unprofessional and an openly anti-semitist (israelic people, STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!) I ordered a pedicure the last day in their “luxury spa”. Nothing luxurious about this. The same place where people leave their dirty towels. The “pedicurist” were clearly annoyed that I was coming. I was sat down in a leather chair with my feet on a high box. The tools wasn’t even washed or sanitised 🤢. It was the worst pedicure I have ever gotten. She filed the feet for 10 sec each and filed the nails too short and uneven. The shellac was all over my toes and the colour was uneven. (There was only 8 colours to choose from) I was charged 10 € extra to remove my previous shellac with a nail file!. The woman was FaceTiming her kids while she was doing my nails. So unprofessional! When I asked her if she could do my heels a little better I was told that she wasn’t strong enough and she didn’t have the tools for it. ***. My legs hurt so much afterwards because of the position I was in. The pedicure was about 25 mins total. I get regular pedicures every month and this was just not a pedicure. I informed the reception about my experience and they weren’t sorry. I told them that I didn’t wanna pay full price because I had to get them redone when I got home. They would talk to the hotel manager. 4 hours later I hadn’t heard back so I went to the reception again and was informed that I didn’t have to pay. Good I thought, the first time in a week with some good customer service. When I came the next morning to check out I was told that I had to pay full price for the pedicure (40€). I informed them again about the experience and showed them pictures and that I was told the day before that I didn’t had to pay. They just didn’t care and told me to talk to the hotel manager my self. The hotel manager came and he was the most uncomfortable human I have ever
