Je voulais rester quelques jours de plus, mais j'ai été déçu de devoir changer d'hébergement en raison de conflits d'horaires. Si je retourne un jour à Moalboal, j'adorerais y séjourner quelques jours. Je le recommande vivement. Pour information, l'hôtel est à 20-30 minutes à pied des restaurants et des bars. La distance a rendu le séjour plus calme et plus confortable.

Le troisième matin, je suis retourné au petit-déjeuner buffet de l'hôtel et j'ai choisi une autre saveur. Après le dîner, nous sommes allés à la plage de l'hôtel. Ce fut une expérience formidable. L'ambiance était parfaite : il n'y avait pas foule, on entendait le chant des oiseaux. La nourriture était délicieuse. Le personnel était exceptionnel, toujours prêt à nous aider et à nous accueillir chaleureusement. L'endroit propose de nombreuses activités. En résumé, nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux.

The Room: A Sanctuary of Comfort The bed deserves its own dedicated review. Layered with crisp linen sheets, a heavy down comforter, and a chunky knit weighted blanket, it felt like sleeping inside a cloud. The Bath: A deep, freestanding copper soaking tub. They provide small jars of handmade cedarwood and lavender bath salts that made the entire room smell like a woodland spa. The Details: No plastic water bottles or generic tech. Instead, there was a vintage-style Marshall Bluetooth speaker playing soft acoustic jazz when we walked in, a ceramic electric kettle, and freshly baked shortbread cookies waiting on a ceramic plate.

The reception was already unfriendly. The bungalow was relatively poorly equipped, the remote control for the air conditioning was faulty, low water pressure in the shower, no pool towels, no toiletries apart from a microscopic bar of soap. The view of the countryside was beautiful, but we had already enjoyed it extensively on our three-hour drive from Dalaguete. The grilled fish was killed twice, once by the fisherman's hand and once by its stay in the freezer for several months. The vegetable soup tasted of nothing, actually, just like the fish, inedible. We were not asked for drinks and the water, which we were allowed to fetch ourselves from a dispenser, was a good 30° warm. There were no other guests, the musicless dinner, bathed in the glaring light of the CCTV, gave the impression of a graveyard - completely desolate. We were charged 1200 pesos for this outrage. The impression of poor gastronomic service continued seamlessly at breakfast and culminated in the impertinence of wanting to charge 50 pesos for a second cup of coffee. We had booked for three nights and paid 21.1 Kpesos. I've never had worse value for money in seven months in the Philippines! After the first night, we packed our bags and left the resort. I will refrain from praising the beautiful pool or the great view due to the miserable overall performance. No recommendation.
