Le centre de la ville est très confortable et très confortable. Le décor est calme, charmant et bien séparé. La piscine est magnifique, la petite plage est très agréable et surtout, la gentillesse du personnel est exceptionnelle. Sur le côté, parce que l'île est assez isolée, les options de repas sont limitées au restaurant de l'hôtel, à moins que vous ne prenez le bateau de retour sur la terre. Cela fait que les tarifs des chambres (même si la vue est belle) et les prix des aliments se sentent quelque peu élevés. Nous étions une famille de cinq, nous avons ajouté un lit supplémentaire, et nous avons demandé un check-in précoce, qui a augmenté de manière significative le prix final pour notre séjour de deux nuits. Il est très bon de se souvenir de notre séjour.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Bluewater Sumilon Island Resort, and overall, it was a beautiful experience. The resort is nestled in a stunning location, surrounded by clear blue waters that create a perfect backdrop for relaxation. The tranquil environment made it an ideal choice for a quick getaway. The resort itself is well-maintained, with lovely landscaping and comfortable amenities. The serene setting really enhances the overall experience, making it a great place to unwind for a two-night stay. One of the highlights of my visit was the friendly staff. From the reception to the poolside attendants, everyone was warm and welcoming. The pool guys were particularly nice, adding to the relaxed vibe of the resort. However, I did find that the food needs significant improvement. While the dining options were ample, the quality and variety fell short of expectations. To truly enhance the guest experience, I believe that more attention to the menu and food preparation is necessary. This aspect would play a crucial role in my decision to return. Another area that requires attention is the communication regarding trips and activities. Unfortunately, we often found ourselves headed to the wrong locations, only to be redirected to another part of the island. Clearer information about where to go for excursions would be greatly beneficial for guests. In summary, Bluewater Sumilon Island Resort is a beautiful destination with a relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff. However, improvements in food quality and clearer communication regarding activities are essential for a more satisfying experience. With these adjustments, I could see myself returning, as the stunning views and peaceful environment are truly commendable.

Nous avons aimé séjourner dans cette localité.Notre chambre était juste sur l'eau, donnant quelques vues impressionnantes de matin et de nuit. L'hôtel dispose d'un grand centre de plongée qui loue tous les types d'équipements de snorkeling jusqu'à des heures plus tard. Notre seule question était la très faible pression de l'eau dans la douche qui a fait laver les cheveux longs et un peu difficile. Alors que vous êtes à distance de la rue « mail » dans la ville, marchez-nous environ 8 minutes et il y a peu d'autres hôtels/restaurants et entreprises d'activité situées juste à côté de l'entrée de l'hôtel

My fiancé and I had a wonderful stay at the Blue Orchid, and it truly exceeded our expectations in every way. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had a  view of the ocean over the treetops. It felt peaceful and private — exactly the atmosphere we were hoping for. The staff were exceptional — so friendly, kind, and accommodating. They helped me plan a surprise proposal for my fiancé, offering suggestions for the perfect location and ultimately arranging for us to use their private rooftop. They also coordinated a romantic dinner there just for us, ensuring we had complete privacy. It was an unforgettable evening, and I’m so grateful for the care they put into making it so special. The resort arranged our transportation both from our previous hotel in Mactan and later to Cebu Pier 1, which made travel stress-free. We also booked canyoneering and an introductory scuba dive through them. The instructors were fantastic — very patient and reassuring, especially when I became nervous underwater and couldn’t finish the dive. While the resort is a bit removed from the busier Panagsama Beach area, that was a huge plus for us. We wanted somewhere quiet, scenic, and romantic, and Blue Orchid delivered exactly that. The restaurant doesn’t have a massive menu, but the food was consistently delicious, portions were perfect, and prices were very fair. Even though there wasn’t a kettle in the room, hot water, coffee and tea was readily available and it was never an inconvenience since everything was close by. We also appreciated the mosquito net over the bed — it added to the tropical charm, though we didn’t need it because insects were never an issue. We even spotted a tiny gecko in our room upon arrival, but it was harmless and quickly disappeared — just part of the island’s character! Overall, the Blue Orchid was everything we hoped for: quiet, romantic, and welcoming. The staff helped make one of the most meaningful moments of our lives absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend it, especially to LGBTQ+ travelers looking for a peaceful and genuinely inclusive place to stay in Moalboal. When we do a return trip to the area, we will stay here again. 

Un hôtel vraiment charmant. Il offre tout le confort : deux piscines, deux restaurants et un bar très sympa. On peut louer des jet-skis et profiter de divers avantages comme l'happy hour. L'hôtel possède sa propre plage privée (le fond était un peu envahi d'algues, mais il y a d'autres plages à proximité et la grande piscine compense largement ce petit inconvénient). Le personnel est incroyablement accueillant et parle couramment anglais. Je le recommande vivement.

This turned out to be an incredible choice for our family; Though it is a refurbished property, the rooms' size is very good. The beach was nice and the most astonishing thing for us was the small rock formation near its beach, which hosted an incredible variety of fish and other forms of life. Just a pair of swimming googles or the snorkeling rental equipment here could get one ready in a matter of minutes from your room. The breakfast spread was good and the 'chocolate hour' in the afternoon was a hit amongst all kids and adults.

Love this place and will definitely come back! We’ve only stayed here for 1 night on our way back to Manila. I wish I’ve booked for a few nights. The ambience was nice. My kids loved it there- the lifeguard was very proactive too. They have the best spag bolognaise and great service from the restaurant. My only negative feedback - the check in was a bit of a hassle. Check in time was 3pm which is already a bit late, I’ve checked in to find out our room was not even ready. But it was ok though because we were allowed to use the swimming pool and beach access whilst we were waiting, it would be annoying though if you just wanted to go straight to your room to lie down and rest. In saying this, I’ve seen their housekeepers working really hard as the place was understandably busy. Will 100% recommended this place to my friends and family who would travel to Cebu. :)

We stayed at Vistamar Resort in Mactan from October 11–13, and overall, it was a wonderful and restful experience. The facilities are a bit outdated, but everything worked fine. Rooms were clean and comfortable, linens fresh, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The Wi-Fi connection was good, and we enjoyed having free access to Netflix in our room. Food was okay, and we appreciated the 30% discount for in-house guests at the restaurant. Corkage is allowed without any fees, which was a plus. They even gave us complimentary use of the billiards table for my daughter’s birthday—something we truly appreciated. The beach was clean and calm, perfect for swimming or relaxing. We hope the beach hours could be extended from 6 AM to 6 PM, so guests can enjoy early morning dips or sunset views. The pool area could use a bit more maintenance, but it’s not a big issue. Despite some aging facilities, the quiet, peaceful environment made it an ideal place to unwind. We’re grateful for the experience and will definitely be coming back. 🫶🏻

Un bon hôtel, propre, mais situé loin, s'y rendre en taxi est cher (depuis la ville de Cebu environ 600 pesos). Nettoyage et remplissage d'eau et de produits de toilette sur demande. L'hôtel dispose de 3 piscines et d'un jacuzzi, ce que nous avons apprécié. Nous sommes arrivés le week-end, il y avait donc beaucoup de gens bruyants dans les piscines venant de l'extérieur (pas de l'hôtel). Il y a un 7/11 à proximité. Petits déjeuners à choisir à la carte, j'ai bien aimé.

Les chambres étaient propres, agréables et spacieuses. Le buffet du petit-déjeuner était délicieux, avec une grande variété d'options ! Le personnel était attentionné et a fait de son mieux pour s'assurer que nous étions à l'aise. Rien n'était trop difficile.
