séjour à l'hôtel Mareneve du 24 au 27 aout ( 3 nuits). Douche sale avec moisissures et calcaire et non nettoyé pendant toute la durée de notre séjour ,Joints des vitres de la douche vieux et jaunes. Le parcours ”benessere” comprend un jacuzzi dont l'eau n'est pas suffisamment chaude pour un hydromassage. Il faut appuyer sur un bouton situé sur le mur à 60 cm au dessus du jacuzzi toutes les 17 secondes si vous voulez avoir des bulles( super pour la relaxation !!!!) l'ambiance est trop sombre et le sol est trés glissant. On a reçu une première proposition pour une durée de 90 minutes puis une 2eme stipulant 60 mn !!!! on a demandé des infos pour une excursion mais nous n'avons jamais eu aucun retour bien que nous ayant dit à plusieurs reprises d'en occuper !!!. Ce n'est vraiment pas professionnel pour un 4 étoiles Sachez également que cet hôtel est réellement à 29kms de la côte et deTaormina soit 43 minutes.et aussi à 1 heure de l'Etna: les 14 kms indiqués sur le site est une distance à vol d'oiseau . Nous avons été très déçus par son emplacement loin de tout. en ce concerne le petit déjeuner le capuccino est insipide et les patisseries sont de qualité médiocre et aucun renouvellement de variété. Jus de fruit sont également de qualité médiocre. Jacuzzi extérieurs seulement à 32 degrés.

Hôtel très agréable car se font dans la montagne et n'est pas trop grand. Une très belle piscine à débordement avec vue sur la mer et les îles éoliennes depuis les hauteurs. Le bar de la piscine propose des cocktails et des snacks. L'hôtel est également associé avec le bar ”Terraze di Giove” en bord de plage qui sert de super cocktails (moins chers et avec beaucoup de choix par rapport au bar de la piscine). Le restaurant de l'hôtel sert des produits frais, locaux et actualise sa carte tous les jours (esprit gastro donc prévoir primi + secondi si vous voulez être rassasiés). Le petit-déjeuner est super : oeufs préparés à la demande, jus d'orange frais, viennoiseries... Tout y est ! Le personnel est bienveillant et aux petits soins. Les chambres sont agréables. Nous avons passé un super séjour !

Myself and a friend stayed at the hotel expecting a 4 star hotel with all the amenities as listed on the website and trip advisor, however this was not the case on arrival. After a horrendously steep walk from the train station to the hotel we where able to check in ok but on arrival to the room it was very basic but thankfully clean. Unfortunately the toilet door was broken and didn’t close, the temperature of the water in the shower varied, the wifi didn’t work half the time, there was gaps in the panelling of the front door leading to the outside, the lights flickered and at times the air conditioning didn’t turn work. Breakfast was very basic and no matter what time you arrived they was never a lot of food provided and our first day there was nothing left. The provided 2 types of cereal however didn’t provide milk or bowls. Based of conversations with other guests at the hotel, the evening meal was a huge disappointment. A 3 course meal was offered however no menu and some evenings they either got a course to share or else only 2 courses despite having to pay for 3. They also ran out of towels when asked which was very frustrating despite not providing clean towels or bed linen unless asked. It appeared to be a family run hotel where staff where out sunbathing and on the beach most of the day rather than present when needed. Staff has very limited to no English which made communication very difficult for most of the guests who didn’t have Italian as a first language. Prices where made up as they went along and in the small shop on site only cash was accepted. If you required a lift to the train or the village which was a 5 minute drive, staff charged €20-€25 in cash only. The positives, it was in a stunning location which a pebble beach area easily accessible and lots of sun loungers around the pool for guests. If you want a very basic stay and like a hike up to the local village for restaurants then this is the place for you. I would say if staying in this hotel you would need to hire a car as the location is far from anywhere and staff charge a lot for transfers for such a short journey. It is also far from both airports. Overall this hotel had a lot of potential but was very run down and staff weren’t always helpful. Images shown of the hotel are very outdated and half of this complex no longer exists. I wouldn’t stay here again and I think the 4 star rating really needs to be reviewed as the hotel is far from this.

Très belle structure qui commence pourtant à sentir le poids des années. Il a maintenant besoin de travaux d'entretien et de modernisation (mains courantes en acier rouillé du spa, certaines lampes dans la chambre ne fonctionnent pas, douche - immense dans notre chambre - avec seulement de l'eau bouillante...). Cependant, cela reste un très bon hôtel, petit déjeuner excellent et abondant, bel espace piscine, verdure soignée et bien plus encore. Mais ce n'est décidément pas à la hauteur d'un 5*L : à notre arrivée personne pour la récupération des bagages, nettoyage des chambres un peu brouillon, espaces autour de la piscine disponibles pour des événements extérieurs (un mariage nous empêchait de nous reposer jusqu'à 3h du matin entre musique, bruits et réarrangement ultérieur). Un bon 4 étoiles dans l'ensemble. Y retournerions-nous ?
