Avis : Jiufen The Ore Inn

Given the price that we pay, the quality of the stay was satisfactory. The room was clean, and having no window was expected as stated in the listing. The inly complaint was about the bathroom/restroom: the toilet and the shower were not fully separated, so it was really hard to keep the toilet area dry. Also, the bath/restroom has no door; some people may like that but it is not for everyone.

Overall is quite good experience to stay Jiufen The Ore Inn. I really enjoy the view from room and it very near with Jiufen old street.

The route to the accommodation is abit difficult. But still enjoyed the stay, it is a very different experience from the other stays.

Booked the sea view deluxe room. Breathtaking view, location near to Jiufen old street, helpful staff and great comfortable room. Just be sure to arrive at Jiufen earlier as it gets dark pretty early over here and the part of the road can only be accessed through walking

The view from this guesthouse is unreal!! Spectacular!. Also, the staff were super friendly and spoke good English and also gave us help and messages on Line which was kind. There’s free tea, coffee, and snacks. The room was huge, super comfy, and with really nice original rock details (it’s built into the mountainside). I loved the location too, after all the shops and hustle bustle of old street. So you can walk through and do your souvenir shopping and then arrive to the calm here. There’s also a viewing platform around the corner and an amazing restaurant on the street above (Shukuo Qimy). Overall highly recommend!

Located at the very far end of the Jiufen street, especially with luggage is a total nightmare if you're by public transport! Far away from eateries too! U have to walk a few streets away and the road is on a slope making the trips unbearable especially for elderly. What make things worst is you still need to climb up the staircase inside as well! Hence, we had to leave our luggage at the front desk to avoid climbing up and down with the lugages... Luckily the receptionist is helpful enough to help but still it's so inconvenience especially during rainy days. The slopes down to wait for the cab is also another nightmare. We had to drag our luggage down the slope worrying that they will just rolled down all the way especially for ladies is really a tough job. Not recommended unless you really run out of place to stay here ;(

The hotel is near Jiufen Old Street, and the room is cozy and clean.

Very nice area, location, and facility! Comfortable stay with a great view.

Really nice place with a cool story. Just down from the main area of the walking street, about a 3-5 minute walk. Manager was super friendly and allowed us to borrow umbrellas during our stay there. Would absolutely stay here again!
