This was to be yet another stay at this hotel. We had been there several times prior to this visit. Before the pandemic it was a decent place to stay at a decent price. After our experience last night....we will NEVER be back. Perhaps it is time for a name change. I am not sure the word QUALITY should be included in the name. At time of reservation I requested one of the rooms that we had stayed in before due to mobility issues. These rooms are easily accessible to enter hotel via room key...and also because of the patio door access, once room has been opened. This time we were booked into a room WAY around the back with access to the room around the building. (1st issue). When we were settling into room, I sat down on bed and was greeted by a hard object. The bed was made up in perfect order, but when I pulled back the covers the hard object revealed itself to be the room's smoke detector. Called front desk to inform them of this. They promptly came to inspect. We were told that it must have been accidentally in the bed. I ask, HOW....bed was made up and detector was tucked in a fold. Obviously had to be aware it was there in the making of bed. Next, a test of said detector proved it to be not working. Staff said they will take this unit and return with a new one. Sat and waited for 15 minutes and no return...BUT, in the meantime, my husband discovered stale pizza crusts under the A/C unit as well as a brochure (also in the bed where the smoke detector was found). He then started to pull back sheets on the 2nd bed and saw brown staining on the sides of the bottom sheet. Upon being brave enough to sniff the bedding, he said that it didn't smell like it had been washed any time recently. We used the ice bucket liner, picked up the pizza crusts, and the brochure and took them to the front desk to show them the filth that was in a room that was SUPPOSED to be CLEAN! At this point we informed them that we would NOT be staying here, were cancelling our upcoming reservation, and would like to be refunded. They offered us a move to another room, but no thanks. At the time of writing this review I am STILL awaiting the refund for the price of the room. This stay was to be part of my anniversary package of Orillia Opera House, dinner out and a stay at a hotel with a pool to have a swim.

Le séjour de vendredi soir dans l'hôtel était probablement le pire jamais eu. C'est mon voyage à l'hôtel quand à Orillia. Le personnel est fantastique et les chambres sont propres. Le vendredi, il y a eu un tournoi de hockey à Orillia et l'hôtel a été réservé avec les familles et les enfants. Les enfants de 3 à 17 ans ont été autorisés à crier et à crier sans relâche. J'ai été déménagé dans la chambre la plus tranquille de l'hôtel, mais il n'y avait pas de soulagement. Les voitures de la partie arrière de la station de stationnement font des donuts et la musique de larmes. Pourquoi est-ce autorisé? C'est un grand hôtel avec un personnel exceptionnel. Au moins il faut expliquer au moment de la réservation que 90% des chambres seront remplies d'égoïstes, de crass patrons qui n'ont aucun respect pour les autres.

Si vous êtes en difficulté, ne réservez pas cet hôtel par un site de réduction comme la réservation ou la ligne de prix. Vous ne trouverez probablement pas une chambre au sol, ils ne peuvent pas le changer à l'entrée, et il n'y a pas d'ascenseur. Approche pour la chaîne et le point de prix. La chambre et le petit déjeuner étaient super propres. Le petit déjeuner était mieux que prévu, avec bacon et une petite omelete. Les chambres sont très confortables et sont très confortables. Nous voyageons avec un peu d'électronique et il serait bon de les avoir à l'abri. Internet était fort, et les chaînes de télévision par câble étaient bonnes. Je trouve que cela de plus en plus rare quand je voyage. Il y a beaucoup à dire pour la télévision décente quand vous êtes sur la route! Il était facile de trouver et confortable à manger et à la *******. Tout est dans une minute de conduite. Très de parking gratuit sur le lot de l'hôtel aussi. Je vais probablement réserver pour nos ******* voyages.

Très petite chambre, jamais vu une chambre aussi petite que celle-ci. Néanmoins bien équipée. Linsons étaient très jolies, lit super confortable. Baignoire récemment rénovée, moderne et propre. Personnel de l'hôtel très ami. Surprix pour la taille de la chambre. Le petit déjeuner continental était minimal au mieux. Préemballages de muffins, croissants, tasses de fruits! Le café était décent mais nous avons dû aller au petit déjeuner de toute façon. Le parking limité est une question HUGE. Nous avons vérifié à 15h30 et nous avons eu un endroit dans le petit lot, nous sommes sortis à dîner et à un spectacle à Rama. Ils nous ont dirigés vers un lot de places, deux blocs de loin, pas beaucoup, à moins qu'il ne soit tard à la nuit et un blizzard. Et les clients avec mobilité réduite ? Le matin suivant, nous avons dû coucher nos sacs au parking hors-la-loi, environ 8 pouces de neige avait chuté. Ils ont dit qu'ils s'en occuperaient, mais j'ai gardé une photo de lui juste si elle va être sur ma licence si elle n'est pas payée. Après avoir essayé de sortir du parking sans plomb, la ville a traversé la rue avec la plongée et une énorme éolienne m'a bloquée de sortir. Quand j'étais assis dans ma voiture en pensant à qui appeler sur mon dilemme, un citoyen d'Orillia m'a envoyé, m'a demandé si j'étais bloqué et si je pouvais continuer à me faire sortir un vent de son tronc et me donner un chemin de sortie du parking. Il était certainement le lieu lumineux de ma matinée! Je voudrais rester à cet hôtel encore? Non, la chambre était trop petite pour mon amour, le petit déjeuner était une blague et la question de stationnement était inconvenante.

Le petit déjeuner à l'hôtel où j'ai séjourné au Canada était relativement bon. Il existe de nombreuses variétés de yaourt pour le petit-déjeuner, ainsi que plusieurs types de pain et de thé chaud. L'hôtel est situé sur un campus, donc ne soyez pas surpris. Chambres très propres. Parking gratuit. Si nécessaire, vous trouverez directement sur le site des prix plus bas. Nous avons eu une ”suite” avec deux chambres.
