Our stay at Fonteverde was beyond our expectations... everything was perfect. We really enjoyed our 3 nights stay and left completely renovated and relaxed. The thermal areas are unique, all the staff extremely professional and experienced, not to mention the amazing quality of the restaurant. I would recommend to anyone booking to include the half board to their reservation in order to full experience what it actually Fonteverde: a piece of paradise on earth.

An absolutely beautiful hotel. We were a very large family for our sons wedding. Accommodations were wonderful staff was excellent and we booked ahead for group dinners each night and they were excellent. Great service by car and bus to the wedding location. This hotel I believe is family run and they were terrific to us. We highly recommend. The location is great to see the Val d'Orcia and the Thermal Baths of Chianciano, wine tasting and much more.

Nous sommes allés à l'hôtel pour l'Année Nouvelle du 30 décembre au 2 janvier. Mais nous l'avons fait pour qu'on s'en dépêche vers le spa. Je veux attendre un très bon massage, c'était la fin de la journée et j'ai attendu que les masseurs soient épuisés. À ma surprise, j'ai eu l'un des meilleurs massages de ma vie! J'ai eu beaucoup de massages et ceux qui sont normalement inclus dans les paquets sont moins étoiles. Elena a fait disparaître toute ma anxiété et je me suis juste fondu sur la table. C'était si bon, je recommande juste de prendre un autre massage de Elena! Le massage de mon mari était par pour le cours, faible et routinière. Après cela, nous avons apprécié un dîner bien placé, même si l'hôtel était emballé avec les invités. Après le dîner, nous avons apprécié la musique et le dans. Lorsque nous nous sommes embouti dans le lit, le lit était doux et les coussins étaient bien au-dessus de la moyenne! Notre suite a deux salles de bains et c'était un vrai plus. Une a une grande salle de bains avec jets. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour, les fêtes de l'Année Nouvel, les belles petits-déjeuners et l'hôtel lui-même. Il est évident qu'il est un hôtel bien établi et qu'il est évident qu'il est en train d'expérimenter des mises à jour axées sur sa décoration et ses équipements.

Hotel ben curato e in zona molto tranquilla, la Sig.ra Sandra molto gentile, sicuramente un posto comodo e vicino a tutto. La struttura ha anche un parcheggio molto comodo per lo scarico e carico bagagli.

After a three year hiatus due to COVID, we were thrilled to be back at Villa Ambra and greeted warmly be Marzio, Katia, and Andrea. This was our sixth stay and will remain our go to hotel while in the Montepulciano area. We throughly enjoyed the evening five course meal provided by the hotel and the hearty breakfast each day. As in the past, we were able to purchase both wine and olive oil from the vineyard and groves that both Marzio and Andrea have produced from their property. We look forward to visiting our friends at Villa Ambra within the next two years.

excellent room, excellent price, good level of service considering the size of the hotel.......not the famous worlwide brand chein but a family leaded hotel.....as in the italian tradition of hospitality. here you are in the heart of Castel del Piano, a very pleasant village soak in a quiete atmosphere deep in the history and in an incredible high quality agricolture leaded by extravergin olive oil, montecucco wine, the fiorentina style tbone and hundrends of tipical flawors of Toscana. this is a place where it awaken your senses, especially sight, smeel and taste...and if you loose or forgot something you find it!!!!!! enjoy it roberto

We really enjoyed our four days here. The welcome was friendly - though we had to wait for the room to be ready. The room was large (very large for an Italian hotel), well-furnished and comfortable overlooking the garden and breakfast gazebo. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom good. It was a very hot few days - we went out each morning to nearby towns of interest - Monticchiello, Pienza, Montepulciano, Città delle Pieve, Panicale ... and came back to the hotel after lunch. At 4.00 we went to the pool - which was large, clean and well set up, pettily sited in the garden with Tuscan hills as a backdrop. We had booked half-board, so had breakfast and dinner at the hotel (in the Taverna, where the food and service was very good). Really a great break.
