Outdated and overpriced. No amenities to speak of, no microwave in your room, no housekeeping unless you request it, no access to the pool unless you go to the front desk to ask for permission and they have to let you in, no continental breakfast, BUT they do give you a cookie upon check-in. By far one of the worst hotel experiences I've encountered. Hotel was booked with multiple youth organizations that were totally out of control, running, screaming, kicking walls, f-bombs, scratching their names into the metal doors of the elevator, etc. when I called the front desk to complain they told me it was happening all over the hotel and there wasn't much they could do. Guests no associated with these organizations had no use of the pool since there were no less than 25 kids in the pool on both nights we were there. When I complained to the general manager the next day, the front desk responded that they would discount my room by half and that if I wanted to leave it would be okay. Since there are no other hotels in the immediate area and I was there for family medical reasons I had no choice but to stay. Disappointed that the general manager didn't have the courtesy of responding to us and that they allowed this to continue for two nights.

Notre famille est restée à SpringHill Suites North Devens Corner il y a deux semaines. La chambre était propre, la salle de bain était une division et était propre. Les lits étaient confortables et propres. Il n'y avait qu'une télévision pour l'espace. La cuisine avait un piège, une micro-ondes et un mini-frigo. Tout était propre avec un petit café. Après avoir été acheté et réglé, nous avons utilisé la piscine et allé à notre événement et à notre dîner. L'hôtel était très différent, l'hôtel était vendu et la zone de lobby était remplie de parents de l'organisation de jeunes soccer. Ils avaient pris la lobby et le petit déjeuner et occupaient chaque table. Il y avait aussi des quantités excessives d'alcool et de boissons. Dans les réfrigérateurs, les conteneurs ouverts, les sacs sur le sol, mis sur les tables, très partout. Il était très évident que ces 50 personnes ou si, étaient intoxicées. We saw children ranging from 3-15 trashing doors and hallways, spilling drinks on the floor and carpet, grinding food into rugs and on doors. Nous avons eu une conférence à cet hôtel et nous avons réservé ici comme une photo sur le site qui montre qu'il est un bon hôtel, mais je devrais également lire les commentaires. La chambre de lit n'a qu'un seul pluton de puissance exposé que vous pouvez utiliser pour charger vos choses. J'avais un portable, iPad, iPhone et regarder et je chargeais un couple dans la salle de bain. Le reste de la puissance était derrière le lit ou la TV stand très difficile à lire. La télévision dans ma chambre n'a pas fonctionné, j'ai appelé le bureau de front et ils ont dit d'utiliser le commutateur dans l'entrée de la chambre mais ils n'ont pas fonctionné. Ils m'ont dit de descendre et de trouver de nouvelles distances. Quel service à la clientèle. Les toilettes de la salle de bain sont petites et pas bons pour sècher quelqu'un après la douche. Le petit déjeuner buffet est lame pour ce que vous paiez. 19 $ plus plus. Pas de café dans la chambre, pas de buffet de glace, pas de sac de lave-linge. J'ai vu des choses de base manquées à cet hôtel, j'ai dû dire qu'il était hors de pauvres. Certainement je ne resterai jamais ici ou même ne le recommander. Lorsque j'ai dit à la dame du bureau de front de la voiture et de la télévision, elle parle au repas de manière très peu amicale aka rude. Je pensais que c'était moi, tous mes collègues ne se réjouissent pas de leur séjour ici.

L'hôtel est propre, un bon petit déjeuner continental. La zone est calme. Le prix était très raisonnable. Mais le personnel était au-dessus et au-delà, exceptionnel!! Je n'ai pas leurs noms, mais grâce au poste de nuit, garçon, cheveux noirs et lunettes. Vous étiez très courtois. Et au monsieur le plus âgé le matin suivant, vous avez servi le petit déjeuner et le poste de départ. Vous étiez particulièrement gentille pour nous et nos enfants, ce qui signifie beaucoup! Les gars comme vous sont la définition des personnes qui devraient travailler avec le public !!

Grand hôtel avec une grande valeur pour votre argent. L'emplacement est très proche de l'autoroute en route à Boston. Les chambres sont belles et propres et les équipements sont super. Tous en tout un grand séjour pour une famille de cinq.

On March 19, my sons and I pulled off a wonderful, surprise 75th birthday dinner party for 26 at The Groton Inn, with friends and relatives flying in from as far away as Seattle and Charleston, SC. It was 5 star in every aspect. Everyone raved about the quality of food. I tasted all three hors d'oeuvres and loved them all. Even our 3 and 6 year old grandchildren ate them! Several told me how much they loved the short ribs. Utterly delightful and like nothing I had tasted before! Those choosing the chicken entree found it delicious, as did those with the vegetarian linguini choice. The steak was very tasty and exceedingly tender for a NY *****. The corn bisque was devine. The arugula salad light and a perfect transition to the main course. Portions were huge. I was afraid, in advance, of noise and distraction by servers between courses, but not once did I hear the sound of a dish clanging against another! It was a 5 star service. Our grandchildren were taken care of perfectly, as if they were tiny adults. They felt like it and consequently behaved as well. The cake presentation was fabulous, with lights dimmed and expertly timed! And the ”service captain” divided the remaining cake in thirds and boxed it so that it was more manageable to take home. So delicious! Dolce Amor, the local Sicilian baker, is incredible!!!!! And I have traveled to 40+ countries and lived in France and NYC where food is fantastic. The Groton Hill punched every possible ”ticket.” But the captain went over the top with her service, offering to take my coat moments after I walked in to the SURPRISE greeting. Such a perfect gesture and an unscripted one! She also looked after those of us lingering with hotel guests, even getting us cups of water. She was simply great. I know the staff was weary, but she never stopped. The room was so beautifully set - flowers and placecards - oh I was so pleased. But guests commented to me as well on such details. They also loved their sleeping rooms, specious, comfortable and quiet. And the Front Desk was an accomplice in the crime of the SURPRISE. They held ”props” for my son from CA and he even dressed in costume in their midst. They ensured all guests had their welcome bags, carefully segregating the two for the grandchildren. Everyone was thrilled and seemingly very happy having attended. The morning after, my husband and I were there at 7 for early risers, headed to the airport or home by car, for a lovely and bountiful buffet breakfast. Compliments streamed. I never heard a single complaint, if there was one. I am so grateful to The Groton Inn for orchestrating such a fun and memorable event, beginning with Eleanor and the Sales Staff for their advice each step along the way. Nancy
