Spacieux hôtel moderne et fonctionnel avec une vue panoramique. Un conseil : choisir une chambre vue sur la mer ! La décoration allie le thème de la mer et l'Ecosse ; les chambres sont bien pensées selon les critères des chaînes modernes. Les critiques suivantes portent sur un séjour en fin de période de confinement, donc peut être à revoir à un autre moment. Il est logique de limiter le spa, mais alors pourquoi augmenter les tarifs pour des prestations moindres (choix limité de prestations, ni sauna, ni hammam évidemment , horaires limités) ? Il est compréhensible de limiter l'offre de restauration, mais à ces prix là, on demeure en droit d'attendre autre chose que des viandes trop grasses, des fruits de mer en rupture de stock ou glaces et desserts industriels. Il est appréciable de disposer d'un protocole AA accordé par Accor sur l'hygiène, mais il faudrait commencer par passer correctement l'aspirateur en chambre !! De même tables des bars ne sont pas nettes. Autre exemple : plus de produits de courtoisie en chambre, soit disant pour cause virale, mais le bonnet de bain n'est pas réutilisable. Tout cela confère l'impression que la pandémie est un prétexte pour limiter les prestations et pas les tarifs. Ces aspects ne sauraient faire oublier l'excellent emplacement et l'amabilité du personnel.

Où rester à St Andrews que dans une chambre sur la recherche du Old Course? Il n'y a pas de problème à propos de l'hôtel. Grand, spacieux, bien équipée. Excellent petit déjeuner et toutes les choses associées que vous avez besoin dans un hôtel 5 étoiles. Top avec une sélection de whisky étonnante dans la barre de trous de route qui regarde le parcours. Il n'est pas bon marché, mais il vaut la peine, et ils étaient super logement et compréhension quand nous avons besoin de changer notre réservation de mai à septembre à très court terme.

Le 11 décembre, nous avons fait un voyage à St Andrew, et Rusacks était une option parfaite. Notre voiture a écrasé. Comme nous ne pouvions pas la faire commencer, nous avons demandé l'assistance du personnel. M. Ccllum, qui était à la réception, est venu inspecter notre voiture, et il a également appelé ses collègues à l'aide. Nous nous sentons si chauds qu'ils nous ont atteignés! Comme la voiture n'était pas encore en mesure de commencer, M. Ccllum nous a aidé à contacter la compagnie automobile et la ligne d'aide. Sous son aide, la ligne d'aide est venue réparer la voiture ce soir, mais ils n'ont pas encore découvert ce qui a provoqué la défaillance. La compagnie automobile a proposé de laisser la clé à la réception, et ils viendront plus tard pour prendre la voiture. Heureusement, la ligne d'aide a finalement pris la voiture et nous avons atteint la gare avec l'aide de M. Ccllum. La nuit est venue si vite et le temps est froid. Heureusement, nous étions en sécurité grâce à l'aide de M. Ccllum et de ses collègues. Merci beaucoup pour leur bonté! Nous avons tellement de chance de choisir Rusacks!

L'hôtel n'est pas grand, l'emplacement est juste en face de l'ancien campus de l'université St. Andrews, très proche de la rue commerçante et non loin du vieux stade. On peut dire que le petit déjeuner est relativement copieux, il y a plusieurs sortes de repas réguliers, et spéciaux, qui changent avec les saisons. Le restaurant est presque plein le week-end quand il y a beaucoup de monde, et c'est généralement mieux. Le stationnement sur rue devant la porte est gratuit mais il n'y a pas de parking privé. Il est facile d'avoir une place pendant les vacances scolaires. Je ne sais pas à d'autres moments.

Spent the nights of 3 & 4 Feb in the Greyfriars Inn St Andrews . I believe ,based on our experience of these nights, a glowing endorsement of this establishment is highly warranted. Firstly ,if you are travelling by bus, Greyfriars Inn is 5 mins from the Bus Station . super ideal if it's not a nice day . Secondly . The bar side of the inn is great . It's low ceilings give it a warm feeling .Its very nicely decorated (being as it's in St. Andrews there is golf memorabilia plenty ) The staff ,surely the mark of many a great pub, were FANTASTIC . Big kudos to Fiona & all the other staff who made our stay so memorable (especially the girl who cross the Tay bridge from Menzieshill to Fife for Love ) Have our room right above the Greyfriars Inn made the booking so worth while . There was never a sense, as often is the case when in a hotel , of sitting in a boring hotel bar. The food was first class all round .Portion sizes were generous .The breakfasts were hand made ,hot and plentiful .Not sitting under heated lights ,dripping in their own grease. The rooms were nicely sized too. The beds too were comfy .The area outside was also quiet at night time . There's a lift from the ground floor up to the second floor . All in all 10 outta 10 . Unless they are fully booked ,next time we visit it'll be The Greyfriars Inn or we'll not be staying Thanks for everything Greyfriars Grant & Irene

We recently stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. We chose it for its location of being close to family in Leuchars but primarily because it was dog friendly. We didn’t on this occasion use the golf facilities. We stayed in a room in one of the lodge buildings which was ideal as it was next to the golf course and ideal for dog walks or just letting him out supervised to do his business! The room was comfortable and clean and with all the essentials needed for a mini break. The breakfast in the hotel was very good some days buffet and some days ordered from the menu. We ate an evening meal in the hotel several days and whilst the menu choice is not extensive the food was good quality and value. With having the dog all our meals were in the bar area which was fine for us as you have lovely views over the golf course and it was very relaxed. All the staff were friendly and helpful providing a great level of service. We would definitely come back and stay again here. A good location for exploring St Andrews, Dundee, Carnoustie & many beaches on this coast

Spent the nights of 3 & 4 Feb in the Greyfriars Inn St Andrews . I believe ,based on our experience of these nights, a glowing endorsement of this establishment is highly warranted. Firstly ,if you are travelling by bus, Greyfriars Inn is 5 mins from the Bus Station . super ideal if it's not a nice day . Secondly . The bar side of the inn is great . It's low ceilings give it a warm feeling .Its very nicely decorated (being as it's in St. Andrews there is golf memorabilia plenty ) The staff ,surely the mark of many a great pub, were FANTASTIC . Big kudos to Fiona & all the other staff who made our stay so memorable (especially the girl who cross the Tay bridge from Menzieshill to Fife for Love ) Have our room right above the Greyfriars Inn made the booking so worth while . There was never a sense, as often is the case when in a hotel , of sitting in a boring hotel bar. The food was first class all round .Portion sizes were generous .The breakfasts were hand made ,hot and plentiful .Not sitting under heated lights ,dripping in their own grease. The rooms were nicely sized too. The beds too were comfy .The area outside was also quiet at night time . There's a lift from the ground floor up to the second floor . All in all 10 outta 10 . Unless they are fully booked ,next time we visit it'll be The Greyfriars Inn or we'll not be staying Thanks for everything Greyfriars Grant & Irene

On peut dire que le petit déjeuner est relativement copieux, il y a plusieurs sortes de repas réguliers, et spéciaux, qui changent avec les saisons. Le restaurant est presque plein le week-end quand il y a beaucoup de monde, et c'est généralement mieux. Le stationnement sur rue devant la porte est gratuit mais il n'y a pas de parking privé. Il est facile d'avoir une place pendant les vacances scolaires. Je ne sais pas à d'autres moments.

Nous devions rester une autre nuit, mais notre ami qui est actuellement en cours de traitement pour la leucémie a été malade et nous devions rentrer à la maison tôt. We recently stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. We chose it for its location of being close to family in Leuchars but primarily because it was dog friendly. We didn’t on this occasion use the golf facilities. We stayed in a room in one of the lodge buildings which was ideal as it was next to the golf course and ideal for dog walks or just letting him out supervised to do his business! The room was comfortable and clean and with all the essentials needed for a mini break. The breakfast in the hotel was very good some days buffet and some days ordered from the menu. We ate an evening meal in the hotel several days and whilst the menu choice is not extensive the food was good quality and value. With having the dog all our meals were in the bar area which was fine for us as you have lovely views over the golf course and it was very relaxed. All the staff were friendly and helpful providing a great level of service. We would definitely come back and stay again here. A good location for exploring St Andrews, Dundee, Carnoustie & many beaches on this coast

Spacieux hôtel moderne et fonctionnel avec une vue panoramique. Un conseil : choisir une chambre vue sur la mer ! La décoration allie le thème de la mer et l'Ecosse ; les chambres sont bien pensées selon les critères des chaînes modernes. Les critiques suivantes portent sur un séjour en fin de période de confinement, donc peut être à revoir à un autre moment. Il est logique de limiter le spa, mais alors pourquoi augmenter les tarifs pour des prestations moindres (choix limité de prestations, ni sauna, ni hammam évidemment , horaires limités) ? Il est compréhensible de limiter l'offre de restauration, mais à ces prix là, on demeure en droit d'attendre autre chose que des viandes trop grasses, des fruits de mer en rupture de stock ou glaces et desserts industriels. Il est appréciable de disposer d'un protocole AA accordé par Accor sur l'hygiène, mais il faudrait commencer par passer correctement l'aspirateur en chambre !! De même tables des bars ne sont pas nettes. Autre exemple : plus de produits de courtoisie en chambre, soit disant pour cause virale, mais le bonnet de bain n'est pas réutilisable. Tout cela confère l'impression que la pandémie est un prétexte pour limiter les prestations et pas les tarifs. Ces aspects ne sauraient faire oublier l'excellent emplacement et l'amabilité du personnel.
