UUtilisateur anonymeI enjoyed my stay overall, especially the cleanliness of the hotel and the excellent customer service. The staff were friendly and attentive, and all the necessary amenities were well provided for guests.
However, I was a bit disappointed with the room interior as it did not reflect the Balinese vibe I was expecting. The design and overall atmosphere felt lacking, including the absence of the signature Bali-style aroma or fragrance that usually enhances the experience.
Additionally, the hotel does not have a swimming pool, which was a downside for me. Overall, it was a comfortable stay, but there is room for improvement in terms of ambiance and facilities.

CCouple of spiritual beingsService was friendly and approachable, we were able to get fast attention from the front desk due to our room cards malfunctioned and in another instance one of the lift malfunctioned. Around 10 parking lots are ready for guests, with additional street parking.
Room and bathroom size is still maneuverable for Asians, and the design is of minimalist and modern style at the same time. Sound proofing is near to none as we can hear other guests conversation, whether they are at the corridor or next room.

IInvitéFor the price, I think it is a reasonable option. However objectively:
1. The air-cons don't work well - one of them was leaking. The staff was helpful in sending contractor to fix while we were out but due to miscommunication (because we have connecting rooms) the ”fix” was made to the air-con that wasn't leaking as badly as the one we complained about. To be fair they offered to swap rooms but we are a family of 5 and it was a hassle to repack and move so we declined.
2. The hot water was very good despite some reviews. However the shower head in one of the rooms were such that they don't stay put so occasional splashes happened.
3. One of the rooms wasn't cleaned (we have connecting room) - the ”make my room” card wasn't available in one of the room so we hung on just 1 of the room and left the connecting door open, thinking that the cleaners would clean both. They only cleaned 1. I guess we could have outright told reception instead of assuming that the cleaners will clean both rooms since we left the connecting door open.
4. I paid for extra bed - but the bedsheet was dusty - they changed it (or at least vacuumed it) after the first night.
5. The beds were quite comfortable, they offered free bottled water and coffee sachets, tv worked, fridges worked, rooms were decent sized, wifi was ok - ample street parking, the lights were ok but one of the rooms had stark white lights instead of the warmer ones. Location was good, just off the highway and across the eateries in Bercham.
6. The staff were helpful and friendly. Despite the complaints they texted me and constantly called to check if we needed towels (because one of the room weren't cleaned) and they asked twice if we wanted to change rooms (we didn't because of reason stated above).
7. Suggestion - build a small ramp to go up to the hotel from the road if possible. It will be helpful for luggage and older folks / wheelchairs etc.
All in all, it was a decent stay. Price was competitive but cleanliness could be better - and air-con/shower heads can be better maintained.

TthemomentsSéjour exceptionnel ! Nous avions réservé le rez-de-chaussée, et c'était parfait : tout près du parking et de la piscine, ce qui était très pratique avec les enfants. La maison est immense, avec de nombreux couchages d'appoint, permettant à chacun de se détendre. Nous n'y avons passé qu'une nuit, mais ce fut une expérience formidable. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter !

IInvitéStayed at Hotel 1969 and had a very pleasant experience. The staff were polite and kind throughout our stay, especially the concierge, who also acted as our airport transfer driver. Although I did not get his name, he was very responsible and ensured we arrived at the airport on time.
We also enjoyed a nice breakfast before heading off, which was perfect and satisfying. The hotel location is very convenient, with many coffeeshops nearby.
Overall, it was a great stay and I would definitely return again.

KKL visitor 2025Cet hôtel est considéré comme assez bon pour ce prix et l'emplacement est assez proche de la ville. De plus, ils fournissent le petit-déjeuner, même s'ils ne remplissent pas le lait et que le choix de nourriture n'est pas très grand. Mais vu le prix indiqué, je pense que c'est raisonnable. Oh... un autre point faible de cet hôtel est que les environs sont assez sombres et silencieux, et il n'y a pas de supérette à distance de marche.

JJefferybrDecent stay for a short weekend trip to explore the city for food and its history. Location is perfect, literally walking distance from Ipoh train station and to the surrounding places of interest in the old town. The only downside is I can hear noises from outside the room, expecially when other guests are walking and dragging luggages along the corridor.

NNzet1996Got a short trip to Ipoh and choose Zone Hotel Ipoh. The location is nice where it is just 15 mins from Ipoh city central and nearby to plaza tol. It feels comfortable to stay with clean room and quiet environment.
