This ryokan is very advertised. And it deserves it. At the average price for hotels of this type, you get a great dinner and breakfast in traditional Japanese style, a genuine atmosphere of historical and retro. The diagonal elevator is a separate beauty. The attitude is very friendly and warm. Very beautiful open-air onsen with a view of the city.

Je ne peux plus être satisfait. La porte de l'hôtel est la mer, très proche de la gare, je suis fatigué de retourner à l'hôtel et à la chaleur chaque jour. La chambre est également très grande et le prix est super élevé.

Parce qu'une seule personne doit donner une bonne critique à cet hôtel !
En raison du retard du voyage, il n'y avait pas de transport vers l'hôtel lorsque nous sommes arrivés à la gare près de l'hôtel, nous n'avons pas pu nous empêcher d'appeler un taxi. La navigation a montré que le trajet prenait plus de 10 minutes et. la marche a duré 50 minutes ! Il était tard dans la nuit alors que nous élevions une famille et que nous nous sentions désespérés. Le serveur de l'hôtel faisait des heures supplémentaires et conduisait sa voiture pour venir nous chercher à la gare ! Ma gratitude est au-delà des mots, alors j'ai voulu donner de l'argent au gars pour exprimer ma gratitude, mais j'ai été refusé ! J'ai secrètement jeté un œil à son badge de travail, et il devrait s'appeler Tsukagoshi, un jeune homme beau et bienveillant ! Merci beaucoup!

J'ai été très impressionné par cet hôtel. Face à la mer, les chambres sont spacieuses et présentent un mélange attrayant de styles occidentaux et japonais. J'ai pu contempler l'océan tout en me baignant dans les sources chaudes, et ce fut une expérience vraiment luxueuse.
Je voudrais également exprimer ma sincère gratitude à Mme Yoshino Yamamoto. Lorsque nous avons laissé quelque chose à l'hôtel, ils l'ont traité rapidement et ont été très polis et gentils tout au long du processus. C'est pour cela que nous avons décidé de changer nos plans et de prolonger notre séjour d'une nuit supplémentaire. J'ai vraiment aimé cet hôtel.

Great hotel located just beside Gotemba Premium Outlets, so easy for the shopping. Great view of Mt Fuji on part of the day. Staff were helpful despite having challenges with language barrier, and room was clean and spacious. Recommended

Находится на п-ове Идзу по пути из Токио в Осаку в живописной деревне (современная, не онсенная, просто сельский пейзаж).
Очень подойдёт ищущим тишину и природу - размещение в домиках среди леса, и стесняшкам - все 9 онсенов - только приватные.
Сервис - великолепный 😍
При регистрации - зелёный чай с традиционными сахарным конфетками (продаются у них в магазине). Пока пьёте чай - заполняют бумаги и относятся багаж в номер.
Тут же выбираете время ужина кайсеки и завтрака. На завтрак выбираете один из 3 вариантов, включая привычный европейский с омлетом скрамбл и беконом. Их приготовят именно для вас и подадут в одной из небольших столовых на 4 столика.
Кайсеки стоит попробовать. Совсем необычные вкусы, очень красивая подача.
В номере вас ждёт одежда юката (легкий халат и пояс), тапочки, носки, тёплая накидка и штаны если холодно, чтобы вы могли полностью погрузиться в японскую атмосферу.
Потом сходите в онсен. Выбирайте любой свободный, они без записи. Запираете дверь - и у тропинки в купальню загорается красный фонарик, так что к вам и близко не подойдут.
Есть открытые (под навесом) и закрытые. Вода в них горячущая, так что есть кран с холодной водой, включите пока принимаете душ.
Прогуляйтесь к побережью океана, дорожка к нему идёт через красивый лес вдоль речки, которая впадает в него с высокого берега, образуя водопад. Сегодня водопада не было, речка обмелела и на подходе вода в ней вообще куда-то делась. Вероятно, зимой будет.

Comfortable and modern onsen hotel with private baths in rooms, tasty and unique dinner and European style breakfast. In the room there are towels, yukata robes, some hygiene supplies except teeth brushes because the hotel tries to reduce plastic wastes. The hotel gifted a set for face and tea for a booking on a particular website. The hotel approximately in 10 mins from train station, and close to the sea.

L'hôtel est très récent, le lit et les oreillers sont très, très bons pour dormir ! Le petit déjeuner n'est pas très varié mais tous sont délicieux. Des boissons à base d'acide lactique, des glaces et des ramen gratuits sont fournis tous les jours. Le bain de pieds sur le rooftop est également à ne pas manquer !

JJakub MikolajObsługa co prawda nie mówi po angielsku, ale dało się dogadać przy użyciu translatora. Użycie pralki kosztuje dodatkowe 500 JPY, ale wtedy w cenie są środki do prania. Całkiem ładny onsen, który rezerwuje się na 45 minut, pełni on również rolę prysznica, więc jeśli chcesz się wykąpać to i tak musisz go zarezerwować. Nam udało się to zrobić mailowo, za co jesteśmy wdzięczni, gdyż przyjechaliśmy dopiero po godzinie 19. Nie polecam natomiast śniadania - jest dość drogie, a do tego nie ma go zbyt dużo, ok. 1-2h po śniadaniu byliśmy już głodni.

CcometdebrisI stayed at Izu Ippeki Lake Lakeside Terrace for 5 nights booking though Trip.com. Be warned that problems may occur when booking through travel websites such as this one. I booked a standard room with no meals. What I did not know however, was that this reservation did not include any room cleaning services for the entire stay, no taking of garbage or towel replacement, no bed making, nothing at all. When I contacted the travel website to show my disappointment, they immediately contacted the hotel requesting a full refund. I did not expect a full refund for my entire stay. What I did expect, was for someone to acknowledge the fact that this important piece of information should have been indicated someone on the online reservation confirmation. Neither the travel site nor the hotel would acknowledge this.
The travel site replied with a response from the hotel, saying that I was a regular guest and knew about this “regulation”. It’s true, I have visited Izu Ippeki Lake Lakeside Terrace on several occasions when housekeeping services were not included. However, this was clearly indicated on the reservation, and I stayed during the COVID STATE OF EMERGENCY, when it was standard practice for many hotels to exclude cleaning services. My recent stay was at the beginning of August, WHEN THE STATE OF EMERGENCY AND COVID RESTRICTIONS HAD BEEN LIFTED. It is no longer standard practice to exclude cleaning services at hotels in Japan.
The hotel stated that I visited the front desk every day to get towels and never mentioned the need to clean the room. This is untrue. I only came to the front dest 2 times during my stay, and this is because room cleaning staff entered my room on 2 occasions, so I was expecting them to clean or take out the trash, but they did nothing and left. I expected them to return, however, they never did. The bottom line is the hotel is responsible for communicating their services to customers, especially after covid restrictions have been lifted. Blaming guests for their lack of communication is completely unprofessional.
Now in regards to the hotel itself, I have stayed here on several occasions, I find it to be perfect, mainly because of the location and modest room size. The hotel is conveniently located near Lake Ippeki (Ippekiko) and there is plenty of nature and a few trails in the area. You can step out the door and be on a simple hiking trail within minutes. It’s a very quiet area and very good for children and families. Though the hotel is dated, the rooms are all quite large and include a living room, kitchen with cooking supplies and dishes (but no forks or spoons), a large bath, and both Western and Japanese style bedrooms. Some may be discouraged by the age of the hotel (it’s quite old and could use some renovation), but if you don’t mind that, then I would highly recommend staying here. One point that I need to mention is in regards to the bedrooms. The hotel has replaced their blackout curtains with super thin curtains which allow sunlight to easily shine through. We were woken up at 5:00 am every morning because of the bright sunlight in our room. If you’re a light sleeper, please take note. I wish management would consider this. Also, it’s highly recommended that guests come by car, public transportation is very inconvenient in the area.
Overall, Izu Ippeki Lake Lakeside Terrace is a very convenient place for a reasonable price. I will definitely be staying here again in the future, but hope that they act with a little more professionalism and consider the fact that the covid state of emergency ended long ago.

La soupe privée est également très bonne et il entend le bruit des insectes et l'eau de la nuit dans le bassin de la chaussure, et il est très émotionnel. Le petit déjeuner de tous les fruits est récolté à partir de fruits cultivés par l'hôtel de bon champ environnant. Il est très clair et avec le champagne après la désertification d'orge. Il y a beaucoup d'attractions autour de l'hôtel : grands salles de montagne, un lac, sept paniers, et tous les endroits sont très amusants. J'attends de revenir ici pour la prochaine fois.

IInvitéWe recently stayed at this charming new hotel conveniently located just a short walk from the heart of the city, and it turned out to be one of the most pleasant surprises of our trip.
One of the things we appreciated most was the value for money — the room rates were very reasonable, especially considering the location and what was included. If you're driving, parking is no issue at all. There’s a parking area right behind the hotel, and the front desk offers discount coupons to help reduce the cost — a small touch that goes a long way.
What made this hotel especially ideal for us was how easy it was to explore the city on foot. From the hotel, we walked to the Musical Instrument Museum and visited several other nearby attractions without needing to move the car. After a half day of exploring, we simply drove about 10 minutes to reach Yamaha Innovation Road, which was another highlight of our trip.
While the hotel is on the smaller side, it never felt cramped. In fact, it gave off a cozy, boutique vibe that made our stay feel personal and welcoming. The breakfast was simple but satisfying, and their signature dish — the grilled eel fried rice — was absolutely delicious. It’s a must-try if you’re staying here!
The hotel also provides thoughtful amenities, including yukata robes, quality shampoo and soap, and even a humidifier in the room — perfect for keeping the air comfortable during dry seasons.
Throughout our stay, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home. They were attentive, warm, and always ready to help with a smile. Whether it was providing local recommendations or helping with parking, their service truly stood out.
All in all, this hotel offered a blend of convenience, comfort, and heartfelt hospitality. If you're visiting the area and want a peaceful base with easy access to city attractions, excellent service, and that rare feeling of being genuinely welcomed — this is the place. We’d gladly stay here again.

IInvitéI suppose the charm of Atami is that the whole area is a little bit 'dated' as far as a resort goes, and this hotel definitely aligns with that - it seems like a place that was once great and is now kind of just rolling along bringing in what money it can.
The food is serviceable but totally uninspired - an upscale cafeteria masquerading as something better than it is with 'chefs' wearing their whites. The entire dining room constantly smells of fryer oil from the tempura - which they still make and keep stock of in such large quantities that it is never fresh and crispy anyways (especially the shrimp, which has not been sufficiently dried before battering). The remaining hot dishes are very disappointing both in terms of variety and overall flavor. The sushi and sashimi is the standout of the food, although it too is very basic - not anything that will blow your mind, but acceptably tasty and reasonably fresh (although on our second night everything tasted a bit soapy/bleachy). As a westerner you will be very disappointed by the breakfast, although that's a 'me' problem rather than a hotel problem per se.
The spa facilities are nice but a bit dated - be careful in your selection of both time and location unless you want to be surrounded with many loud (mostly Chinese) children. Private spas are available and are quite nice, although again dated. Nonetheless at around 60 USD for an hour the price is good for the privacy, especially as a westerner who is otherwise subject to quite a bit of staring at this mostly local and Chinese spa.
We stayed in a deluxe king room, which was spacious with an enormous and comfortable bed, and a (For japan) reasonably sized tub. Room and desk service was good.
The hotel is a bit off the beaten path but has regular free shuttles to/from Atami station, which is where the main tourist streets for shopping etc can be found. Highly suggest checking out Golden Eye for some excellent Ramen.

IInvitéL'hôtel est situé dans la montagne près de la cave. Nous attendions un beau paysage, mais le serveur nous a ouvert une chambre à l'entrée du personnel. Il n'y a pas seulement de fenêtres à parler et il a vu le personnel entrant et le caveau de transport dès que la cave a été ouverte. Le véhicule de la chambre de chauffage est très influencé par l'humeur. La chambre de chauffage de la soupe de chauffage est également ennuyée. La poussière de la paroi près du torpedo est évidente. L'hygiène de l'hôtel n'est pas très bonne. 😑 Il y a des cheveux qui ont été laissés avant sur la tête du lit, 😑, un mauvais commentaire.

Their breakfast buffet is excellent with a variety of food options to choose from — the Japanese-style food served is exceptional. From that level out the window, provided the weather is good, Mt. Fuji can be very clearly seen. Rooms are also fairly large, very comfortable.

The room is private but has no door lock, and you can't be loud because the roofs are connected to other rooms.
The room is very clean and has an in-room locker for clothes and your worthy items.
The location is close to Shizuoka JR Station.It is only a 4-minute walk, and it is easy to find.
The bathroom is also clean, as in the photo (I took it when there were no people).
The price is not expensive; it's worth staying. will definitely be there again 👍😊
