Il est situé à quelques minutes du centre-ville. Il est entouré de restaurants, de nombreuses options pour de bons aliments. La chambre est très compacte et la fenêtre est petite. La chambre est à l'avant de l'immeuble, donc il n'y a pas de vue, ce qui est un peu honteux.

It was my first time staying at a doubletree and was so surprised with the cookie on arrival! The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast buffet was also well replenished. Will definitely come back.

Emplacement idéal, en face de la nouvelle rue régionale, à deux pas du centre-ville. Les installations sont bonnes, il y a plusieurs salles de bain et toilettes, je n'ai jamais eu à attendre. La cuisine est grande, je ne l'ai pas utilisée mais je pense qu'elle est suffisante pour un routard qui souhaite cuisiner et conserver ses aliments au réfrigérateur. J'ai séjourné dans une chambre individuelle avec un casier et une fenêtre. Il devrait y avoir une table, mais ce n'est pas grave. La fenêtre était un peu compliquée à ouvrir et à fermer, je ne sais pas comment l'ouvrir ni la fermer, c'est comme une trappe ; il doit faire froid en hiver.

L'emplacement est idéal, en plein centre-ville. On peut se rendre à pied à tous les principaux sites de Christchurch depuis l'hôtel. Juste à côté du Jardin botanique, notre chambre offrait une jolie vue sur celui-ci. Alice, à la réception, était très accueillante et nous a suggéré un excellent itinéraire de promenade pour découvrir les points d'intérêt. Elle nous a également donné de très bonnes adresses de restaurants, que nous avons testées et trouvées excellentes. Le lit était incroyablement confortable (et nous sommes très difficiles en matière de literie). C'est un bon point. Un coffre-fort dans la chambre aurait été appréciable pour y mettre nos objets de valeur.

I stayed in North south holiday park on the day of arrival and the night pre departure from Christchurch. It is located about 5 mins drive or 45 mins walk from CHC international airport. You can book their airport shuttle ($5 per pax) during operational hours or the front desk can order a taxi for you at a cheaper price. Amenities are complete and cleanliness is well maintained. The only set back is there is no eateries within short walking distance except burgerking, but not a problem if you come with a car or you can cook at their kitchen(with utensils provided)

I’ve stayed at several Novotel hotels, including the one in Christchurch city center. Since we had an early flight the next day, we chose Novotel Christchurch Airport for convenience. The location is excellent—right next to the airport and very close to the car rental return, which made our travel much easier. The room was clean and comfortable, though amenities felt limited. For example, slippers were not provided and had to be purchased, which was surprising as they’re quite essential. I didn’t mind not having items like toothbrushes or shaving kits, but slippers would have been appreciated. On the positive side, the Wi‑Fi connection was stable, and the hotel’s Food Exchange restaurant was a highlight, serving delicious food with a panoramic view of the airport. Overall, a convenient stay with great dining, though the in‑room amenities could be improved.

I checked in around midnight. There's a key safe at the entrance, they send you a code, and you take your key card. There are many cool people inside. The place is very clean, the staff is friendly. For the price, this place is just perfect for a couple of nights. I booked a 3-bed female-only dorm.

Some issues with parking and ventilation Unfortunately, the parking situation was quite inconvenient. We checked in and registered our car plate as requested, but after going out for dinner and returning later, there were no parking spaces left at the motel. We had no choice but to park at a nearby supermarket, which was not ideal and a bit stressful. Another issue was the bathroom design. The bathroom is fully enclosed with almost no ventilation, which made the room feel very stuffy and uncomfortable. During the day we could open the window, but at night it wasn’t possible, and the room became extremely hot and hard to breathe. Overall, the stay was okay, but the lack of parking and poor ventilation significantly affected our comfort.

L'hôtel est situé dans le centre-ville de Christchurch. Il est littéralement à l'extérieur du pont de la mémoire. Les récepteurs sont seulement présents pendant la journée. Le check-in après-heure n'est pas difficile. J'ai reçu une carte SIM avec le check-in. La chambre est très spacieuse avec une petite cuisine. Il n'y a pas de petit déjeuner sur mon réservation mais il y a beaucoup de cafés à proximité. Il y a aussi beaucoup de restaurants au centre-ville. Riverside Market est très bon à trouver la cuisine internationale. Les jardins botaniques et le Centre des Arts sont à quelques pas.
