The staff doesn't try to hide the unequal service offered to foreign guests compared to that of the locals. No staff member offered to help us with our luggage. The rooms have poor sound isolation and you can hear your neighbours and the room above very clearly, particularly foot steps, which make sleeping difficult.

InvitéWe stayed for a night and this property exceeded expectations. It is spotless and you dont need to leave at all. It is so well run and the service is so personalized, from which bus you are taking back into town to what allergies you have, all staff members take note of your preferences. Especially want to thank ***** for making this stay so memorable! Food is also very wholesome and seasonal. Could not fault this place if you tried!

Location
The location of Auberge Ninguruforet is a bit remote and far from the main town center of Biei. There are no nearby convenience stores like Lawson or Family Mart, so guests need to plan ahead for their meals and supplies. This can be inconvenient, especially for larger groups with elderly or young children who may have difficulty walking long distances in the cold winter weather.
Check-in
ProcessTo improve the check-in experience, it would be helpful if the hotel could request guests to provide their passport details in advance. This would allow for a smoother and faster check-in, without the need for guests to go back and forth to their cars in the freezing temperatures just to take photos for the registration process.
Check-out
Confusion
Even though the hotel had implemented the CCTV audio system to provide clear instructions, the language barrier appears to have caused some confusion for me during the check-out. This can be a common challenge, especially in more remote locations where the staff may not be as fluent in English.
Breakfast
Since our group requires halal food, it's understandable that we did not include the breakfast option in our package. The hotel could consider offering more diverse breakfast options to cater to different dietary needs in the future.
Luggage Handling and Car Access
One of the key issues we faced was the need to transport our luggage from the parking area to the unit using carts, rather than being able to drive our car closer to the entrance. This was especially challenging given the freezing -10°C temperatures at night .To improve this, it would be greatly appreciated if the hotel could allow guests to drive our cars closer to the entrance, even if just temporarily, to drop off the luggage. This would avoid the need for guests, especially those traveling with elderly or young children, to struggle with pushing heavy carts through the frigid weather.
Scenery
Despite the challenges, the stunning winter scenery at Auberge Ninguruforet seems to have made up for it. The -8°C temperature that morning must have created a true winter wonderland, with the beautiful snow-covered landscapes and crisp, clear skies. This picturesque setting is surely a highlight of your stay.Overall, with some improvements to the location accessibility, check-in/out procedures, and guest services, Auberge Ninguruforet could provide an even more enjoyable experience, especially for larger groups traveling with families. The breathtaking winter scenery, however, remains a major draw for this property.
We will surely come again to Auberge Ninguruforet, this time leaving our larger luggage in the car and only carrying the essentials we need for our stay in our backpacks. This will allow us to avoid the hassle of transporting heavy bags through the frigid weather, and instead focus on enjoying the stunning winter scenery.By packing light and only bringing what we need for the duration of our visit, we can easily move between our car and the hotel entrance without the struggle of pushing carts through the snow. This will make the check-in and check-out process much smoother, especially for our group with elderly and young family members.Despite the minor inconveniences we experienced previously, the breathtaking winter wonderland at Auberge Ninguruforet remains a major draw for us. We look forward to returning, better prepared to handle the cold temperatures, and immersing ourselves in the serene, picturesque setting that this property offers. With a few adjustments to our packing and luggage management, we are confident our next stay will be an even more enjoyable and memorable experience.

PaatBibeeModern Comfort with Exceptional Service.
We recently stayed at this brand new hotel for 3 nights and was thoroughly impressed. As someone who travels frequently and appreciated good design and hospitality, this property hit all the right notes.
The ambience & Room:
The hotel features a clean and medern design.
My room was a decent size-not too small for 2 people-and perfectly maintained.
ิิิิฺ-Modern amenities including a Nespresso machine and a smart TV with Netflix made our stay very comfortable when snowing outside.
-Attentive and consistent housekeeping. The room was refreshed daily with plenty of drinking water provided.
Service:
The staff here are the true stars. They are genuinely friendly, always greeting us with a smile. They went beyond by help to pre-booking a fixed-rate taxi for our airport transfrer, which made our early morning departure stress-free.
Location and Dining:
While the hotel isn't right in the hustle and bustle of the center area, it is within easy walking distance to everything. The subway is just around the corner but we prefer walking for observation. The surrounding area is packed with great local dining options. Plus, the hotel's own restaurant is quite a great choice for a great dinner.
A Small Note for Improvement:
The only thing I missed was the ability to slightly crack open a window. As someone sensitive to room temperature during sleep (especially in winter), having a bit of fresh air would have made the stay even more perfect.
Verdict: Highly recommended for those who valure cleanliness, modern aesthetics, and top-tier service. We would definitely stay here again next time.

InvitéWithout a doubt, this was the best hotel of our entire trip. I would gladly recommend it to anyone visiting Furano.
The hotel offers excellent value for money and outstanding service. As the hotel is affiliated with a winery, guests are invited to enjoy complimentary wine tasting during their stay. Although I am not usually a wine enthusiast, I found the experience both enjoyable and informative. We were also given a complimentary bottle of wine, which could be collected from Furano Winery, located about a 10-minute drive from the hotel.
Our visit to the winery turned out to be one of the highlights of our stay. We were able to browse a wide selection of wines and learn about the wine-making process through displays of the production facilities. My daughters found it particularly fascinating. For anyone who enjoys wine—or simply wants to learn more about it—a visit to the winery is highly recommended.
The hotel itself features modern, comfortable rooms and excellent facilities. We were pleasantly surprised to find that complimentary laundry and dryer services were available for guests. The hotel also has its own onsen, which was an unexpected bonus when we made our booking. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, making them perfect for our family.
Another standout feature was the breakfast. I would highly recommend booking a room package that includes breakfast, as the selection is good and everything we tried was delicious. One of the most memorable aspects was the opportunity to sample three different varieties of Hokkaido milk: local Furano milk, Tokachi milk, and Ebetsu milk. I had often heard about the quality of Hokkaido's dairy products, and being able to compare the distinct flavors from different regions side by side was a unique and enjoyable experience. It was one of the most interesting and memorable parts of our stay.
Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. From the winery experience and excellent facilities to the outstanding breakfast and warm hospitality, it was truly a memorable stay. I would not hesitate to return if I visit Furano again.

I had a really wonderful stay at Hotel Sosei Sapporo (MGallery Collection) and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Hokkaido.
From the moment we arrived, the hotel already stood out with its beautifully designed entrance and lobby. The entire space feels like a curated designer showroom, every corner is thoughtfully styled and incredibly aesthetic, with plenty of Instagram-worthy spots.
The room itself was very cosy and comfortable. You can tell that a lot of attention has been put into the details, from the furnishings to the amenities. Even the smaller touches, like the toiletries and hair dryer, felt premium and well-designed, which really elevated the overall experience.
One of the highlights of our stay was the service. The staff were exceptionally friendly, warm, and hospitable, making us feel welcomed right from check-in. Their attentiveness definitely added to the comfort of the stay.
Overall, I would rate this hotel 9.5/10 and would happily stay here again on my next trip to Sapporo.

Exceptional Private Onsen & Hokkaido Flavors.
Overall Impression: A perfect blend of convenience and cozy. Despite the bustling atmosphere and classic, dark decor, the private onsen and dining experience make this a standout choice in the area.
Hightlights:
The room: Spacious with beautiful wooden floors and a private outdoor onsen. Soaking in the heat while snow falls is pure magic. Features like the ”His&Her” sinks and an in-room massage chair make our stay more comfortable. All complimentary in the room adds a thoughful touch.
Dining: The buffet offers and impressive variety of local dishes alongside beautifully plated mains. Even when busy, the staff sustematically managed the seating, ensuring we enjoyed the stunning winter views comfortably. The Hokkaido cheese pizza and dessert are absolute must-tries.
Location and Service: Perfectly situated in the heart of the sightseeing district, with famous sweet shop right nearby. The complimentary valet parking and polight, perfessional staff made our stay seamless.
Observations:
Atmosphere: The common areas can feel a bit crowded due to its popularity.
Design: The room interiors are a bit outdated and lean toward very dark tones, and notably, Netflix is not available on the in-room TV.
Note: Windows are fixed; ventilation is managed via the onsen balcony door.
Verdict: Highly recommended for foodies and onsen lovers who want to be the center of the action.
