Hôtels avec piscine à Comté du Devon, Royaume-Uni

We stayed in a 1 bed lodge. The property had everything you need and the washing machine/ tumble was a great addition and we were also given a few wash sheets- bonus.It was also fully equipped with the little things that makes the stay more enjoyable/ comfortable such as kitchen roll/ tea towels/ liquid/ coffee/ tea/ milk sachets and shower gel/ shampoo. The heater in the bathroom was also great to offload wet towels from the pool. The house itself was good. The only thing that would have made it a tad better was a little bit more attention to cleanliness detail. However I am certain that had we pointed this out to staff this would have been rectified as they did with a request for change of bedding. On the flip side, if it had been overly spotless I probably wouldn’t have relaxed either with our 2 children. In all, we cannot complain for price we paid. The events put on was a lovely surprise as we didn’t expect this. This ranged from bingo, bouncy castle and a magic show. The different food vans each evening were a lovely touch. We only tried the chicken curry on a Monday evening and to be honest, we thought it lacked on flavour. The peacocks were super amazing wondering around and the three little ducks. Lovely location to go out and explore we went to Bucks Mill ( beautiful) Bute ( beautiful) and Westwood Ho! Also nice for a bit more ambient. Also, if you have children, the milkyway adventure park is a lovely addition and takes about 25 minutes.

Nous avons séjourné dans une salle de club familial avec notre grand-père de 3 ans. La salle était énorme avec 3 portes françaises qui mènent à un grand balcon et à un magnifique jardin et vue sur la mer. La piscine chauffée était superbe. Notre seule niggle serait que, en raison de la nature amical du chien de l'hôtel, il y avait peut-être naturellement des cheveux de chiens dans le bar/salle de manger et la douche aurait pu bénéficier d'une profonde propreté. Le parking était super et le personnel était aimable et aimable.

L'hôtel et la zone étaient fantastiques, mais le service à la table de front était insuffisant. Nous avons pris un long week-end et nous sommes enthousiastes de tenter le club de plage, mais notre expérience a été étouffe par le service. Il a été fait de rester à l'abri pendant 5 minutes, alors qu'il a été dit que nous n'avions pas payé (quand nous avions) était inutile et honnêtement embarrassant. Le restaurant était la partie la plus décevante de la résidence. Je suis le service de la soirée était lent, suivi par notre ordre erroné deux fois et aussi chuté. Le petit déjeuner au restaurant était insuffisant par rapport aux hôtels plus chers qui offrent le continent. Lorsque nous avons commandé un petit déjeuner cuit, il a fallu 30-40 minutes pour recevoir quelques œufs et panqueques, bien que le restaurant était assez calme. La chambre, les installations et le spa étaient fantastiques. Beauté et confortables. Le club de plage à l'extérieur était magnifique. Le spa était parfait et les traitements étaient, pour citer mon partenaire, «l'un des meilleurs massages de ma vie». Le service était très bon, mais pas ce que nous attendions d'un hôtel portuaire.

A simply Devine hotel with such historical charm  The charismatic entrance foyer draws you into this wonderful exquisite reception area We had the upmost pleasure in staying on New Years Eve  & were greeted with a lovely glass of free champagne in letting the New year in  They also had a really good modern band playing the finest of music in one of their opulent rooms  We would grant this very fine hotel a definite 5 Stars experience  Many thanks

Nous avons séjourné pendant une nuit seulement. La chambre était grande et propre. Le lit était confortable et nous avons dormi bien. Le parc de voiture était complètement plein à 15 h 30 ... et le personnel qui nous a vérifié n'aurait pas pu se soucier moins !

Réservé deux chambres pour un séjour familial. Il a été le week-end le plus chaud de mai ! La chambre congelée de l'autre cuisine. Les chambres ont été très diverses, mais j'ai choisi la même chambre spacieuse et airée, l'autre un peu plus crampée. On m'a dit de m'avoir vérifié à partir de 3h et nous n'avons pas été autorisés jusqu'à 4.30 ce qui compliquait nos plans. Le petit déjeuner est bon mais super occupé. Pas assez de personnel pour gérer la demande. Bien, très bien, très bien.

For a 4 star hotel this was very disappointing. Only 1 person on reception and a queue of people waiting to be checked in. A very tired hotel that has been not been well maintained. Our room was disappointing, a balcony we couldn't use, a double bed that felt like I was sliding out of it all night as the mattress was worn and had gone soft on my side of the bed, an uncomfortable toilet as the seat was too small for the toilet. Many other small things as well, we expected better.

The Palace Hotel was a delight to stay at. The rooms were warm, comfortable and clean. The staff were lovely and we were surprised to have evening entertainment. We went on a budget and were delighted with the hotel. Only thing to add was the bathroom was a bit dated and could do with a new set, I understand having orgional features is nice, however, I think new would be better. Also we were told breakfast would be £9.00 each on arrival, but when we went to pay it what a whopping £27.00 for a full English (1 of each item) amd some avocado and boiled egg on toast... of course we could have the continental... but it did make us cough a bit!! The service was great though. Overall great stay would recommend and return.

The restaurant staff were helpful and friendly and food was to a good standard. Unfortunately we booked the hotel for its spa/pool facilities to be informed the day before that the spa was out of action due to a fault. On arrival we were informed this included the pool, however should be open the next day. Again the night after our stay a note was put up to state it was out of order on both days. Whilst we understand faults can take place, it's disappointing to book a hotel for its facilities and for none to be available when travelling with a child and this resulted in an early exit due to lack of facilities.

Le spa est incroyable, si relaxant. Idéal situé à environ 10 minutes à pied de la plage de Meadfoot. Le petit déjeuner était sur le petit côté mais délicieux. Le personnel est ami et utile. Les chambres sont propres, mais pour 4* j'attendrais un peu plus comme un fer dans la chambre, les toilettes, les vêtements de lavage, etc. Je n'ai pas dormi si bien malheureusement comme il a été réveillé par les gens qui rentrent dans la chambre, les portes sont lourdes et les étages du couloir sont creux. Cela laisse tomber, mais je retourne pour l'expérience de spa !
