Very nice hotel and feel very comfortable at room. Connected with shopping mall, so very convenient to look around and enjoy various foods. Great staffs and they are willing to help and serve which is great.

Baobab Safari Resort is located quite far from Surabaya city centre, but it is definitely worth the approximately 1-hour drive from Surabaya Airport. We booked two connecting rooms, both with balconies. We were assigned to Level 4, and the view was absolutely magnificent, overlooking Mount Arjuno and Mount Welirang. Waking up to the mountain scenery was truly refreshing. Cooling weather, fresh air and beautiful scenery. Food Experience The highlight of the meals was the Nasi Rawon. The beef was very tender—soft and melt-in-the-mouth—and the soup was rich and flavourful. The portion size was generous. Other food items were acceptable but nothing particularly outstanding. For breakfast, however, the buffet spread was rather limited, especially in terms of meat and protein options. Room & Amenities The room itself looked decent but slightly dated. That said, the beautiful view more than compensated for it. One important note: do stock up on your own bottled water before arriving. The hotel uses refillable glass bottles, and unfortunately, the wooden covers of the glass containers appeared very mouldy, which was quite off-putting. Activities & Environment There are plenty of activities available. A walk through the Enchanted Forest thats full of pine trees and feeding area for Capybara, Lama, Sheep is possible, though you’ll need to take a buggy from another area. The Safari Zoo is located separately but can be arranged by the hotel. Animals around the hotel can be fed according to scheduled timings. Waterbucks, however, can be fed with carrots 🥕, which were provided by the hotel on the day of check-in. The lobby and dining areas were a standout—beautifully designed and facing the roaming animals while still maintaining a safe boundary within their designated area. Animal Welfare I have always been quite sceptical about zoo animals in Indonesia due to past negative experiences, where animal welfare did not seem well cared for. However, Baobab Safari Resort truly changed my perspective. The environment is clean, the animals appear well fed, and I frequently saw zookeepers actively present in the animal areas, feeding hay and grass to the zebras, waterbucks, buffaloes, and giraffes. It was reassuring and heartening to see such care and commitment. This experience made me believe that proper education and responsible management really do help build a better environment for zoo animals. Overall, it was a meaningful and memorable stay for my family.

Je recommande vivement cet hôtel Nous sommes allés de Bromo à Ijen. Nous étions très fatigués et avons décidé de réserver cet hôtel. L'environnement dans son ensemble était très haut de gamme et il y avait des majordomes qui portaient les bagages dans la chambre. La chambre était également très grande et avait un balcon avec un balcon. vue centrale. Je ne peux pas dire grand-chose sur le petit-déjeuner. Un self-service riche mais basique est encore suffisant. L'essentiel est que le rapport qualité-prix est super élevé. La famille d'accueil dans laquelle nos amis covoitureurs ont séjourné coûte 200 $ la nuit. qu'ils ne savaient rien du séjour, il n'était pas nécessaire de rester dans ces auberges de jeunesse, qui étaient bondées et l'environnement était mauvais.

L'emplacement est excellent, en plein milieu du centre touristique de Surabaya, la vieille ville ou « Kota Lama ». La propreté est correcte, les draps sont la seule chose qui a besoin d'être nettoyée davantage. Le service est excellent. Et en ce qui concerne les installations, la seule chose qui manque est un sèche-cheveux.

Service amical, chambres avec vue agréable. La cuisine du Skydome est délicieuse compte tenu du prix et du service. Malheureusement, le petit-déjeuner est décevant. Le choix est moindre que lors de notre dernière visite. Le plus décevant est la saleté, la présence de mouches et, à deux reprises, de petits cafards ont été trouvés près des plats. Malgré mon signalement au personnel, ils n'ont pas réussi à les attraper, et les insectes étaient toujours là. De plus, de la glace est en vente au milieu de la salle de petit-déjeuner ; il est très contraire à l'éthique de vouloir en vendre dans une salle payante. Existe-t-il vraiment un hôtel qui vend de la glace dans cette salle ? Les conditions de petit-déjeuner ne sont pas adaptées à un hôtel 5 étoiles.

Second stay here and the consistency is solid. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained — no drop in standards compared to my first visit. Service was smooth throughout. Special thanks to Joan for handling both check-in and check-out efficiently and professionally. Quick, clear, and hassle-free. Location is very convenient with easy access to nearby amenities and transport. We had a meal in Nishimura  is decent — not over the top, but reliable and well-managed. Overall, a dependable hotel that delivers consistently. Would return again.

L'hôtel est très bien situé, à proximité des attractions et des restaurants. Le personnel était très sympathique. Le dernier jour, nous avons commandé un repas et l'avons dégusté dans notre chambre pendant que nous faisions nos bagages. La nourriture était abordable et délicieuse. 😋 Malheureusement, la salle de bain n'avait pas de pommeau de douche, juste une douchette, ce qui était gênant. La serrure de la porte de la chambre était un peu cassée, ce qui rendait l'entrée et la sortie difficiles.

Quand j'ai prévu d'aller à Banyuwangi… : j'avais vraiment envie de cet hôtel… il est toujours complet… jusqu'à ce que j'aie la chance d'y passer un séjour . J'adore cet hôtel… le cadre est très agréable et offre de nombreuses commodités… le personnel est aimable et sympathique… tout ce dont nous avons besoin est fourni rapidement et les informations sont très claires…. . La chambre était très spacieuse et bien équipée. Le personnel a fait de son mieux et est sympathique. Le centre de remise en forme était bien équipé, avec des haltères et suffisamment de poids pour quelques soulevés de terre. Cependant, vous pouvez économiser sur le petit-déjeuner. Même s'il y avait beaucoup de choix, nous n'avons pas été impressionnés par le goût. Le Skybar offre une belle vue et la nourriture était bonne.

This is the 3rd time (in this year) I stay at Swiss Belinn Manyar, and I am always satisfied with their services from the front office, concierge, resto, room service n housekeeping staff are friendly, polite and service oriented that make their guests feels well taken care of. No complaints about the room: it's clean, wifi is stable and fast, hot water runs nonstop, and aircon works very well to fight the hot temperature of Surabaya. Great appreciation to mbak Nia front office staff who always greets us with her big warm smile, makes us feel at home and ensures each of our stay are pleasant and enjoyable. Also, thanks to other front office staff: Shinta, Rizqi, Yoga and others that I can not name one by one.
