La chambre était accueillante. Le propriétaire est super sympa, le petit déjeuner et le café faits maison sont à mon goût, et me recommande également un superbe voyage. Rentable! Grey est toujours satisfait !

The room photos on Trip.com were taken when the room was brand new. It clearly is no longer the case now - some staining on the curtains and soft furniture and marks on walls. Overall, for the price, it's still acceptable. Check-in is done at the bar like most similar types of accommodation above a pub. Bedding is exceptionally comfortable - special mention of the supremely comfortable mattress and pillows. 5-star bed. Water pressure in the shower is weak - 60% of what I would have liked. Bottled water and milk in the fridge is a nice touch. Crockery and cutlery provided in the kitchen. You will have to lug your luggage up 1 flight of stairs as there's no lift.

The bed was large and very comfortable. The bathroom was very large too. It was all clean. Most guest rooms are in annexes, with reception and dining in the old building (old for Oz, anyway) which boasts a bit of style. Breakfast was quite good but items such as bacon and scrambled eggs did not stay very hot about the buffet. I liked the sourdough. Reception was prompt and professional. Now the minor dislikes: it’s a good 30 minute walk from the CBD / waterfront, up a bit of hill all the way. (There is an area with plenty of bars etc about half way). I walked several times a day and it was OK. Most guests will have cars though. The living area in the room needed a TV. If there can only be one TV per room, it would be better there than in front of the bed in my opinion. Finally, one of the two wardrobes is locked up, presumably to store linen etc. The other only has hanging space so there was no shelving. I felt a little cheated that half of “my” potential wardrobe space was denied to me! On balance, I would consider staying again, even though it is a little way out of town. Overall it is large, clean, comfortable and manages a little style.

Il y a du bébé, le feu de la chaleur a fait chaud le lac Saint-Claire, nous avons quatre personnes séjournés. L'isolement du son n'est pas très bon, si vous avez assez de nourriture, l'hôtel est très confortable. Il n'y a pas de Wi-Fi dans la chambre, le bébé peut aller à la réception lointaine. Très belle maison de bois de forêt. Il y a du temps pour marcher autour du lac.

Good location, friendly check in and close to the city, go for nearby restaurant for breakfast in walking distance. Small playground for kids. With electric blanket during winter which is very comfortable.

Grande emplacement, propre et confortable J'ai oublié de soumettre l'identité pour le contrôle en cours mais ils sont très utiles et m'aident à traiter bien qu'il était tard (le retard de vol nous est arrivé à midi) Apprécie-le vraiment.

clean and tidy but small rooms , some guests complained about the noise from slamming doors and lights coming through the gaps around the room door.

Wonderful Location and one of the best rooms in Launceston... It's really nice facilities up here and love everything about this one.

Less than an hour from wineglass bay. The view to ocean is nice, room is clean and spacious, but there is nothing much around the town. A stopover for one night is fine. Make sure to stop by Kate’s Berry Farm nearly for delicious scones and jam.

Not bad hotel. But there were no tea bags, no milk. Cutlery looks extremely poor. All was from different set, some from hiking set. Also a lot of dust on the bathroom lights. To fix these problems will cost almost nothing, but it will improve the impression. And the final problem is parking. If you return late, there will be no parking place for you.
