Speaking of pool, it gets very little sun throughout the day so you'd better be tactical if you want to sunbathe; 5. Fixtures are quite dated and rooms could use some refurbishment

We knew we were booked into a shared bath arrangement, but still was disappointed about the room itself, very small, damp with smoky smell, very bad motel experience. Hotel complex itself is much nicer, proximity to Tikal allow you to tour the ruins at sun break; I would have picked another facility if I had choice, though there's very limited availability closer to the park.
