VVSTA friendly lady host who fetched us from Zhongwei South railway station to the entrance of the campsite for a fee, 60 yuan. The next day we paid her another 60 yuan transportation fee to our hotel in Zhongwei city.
At the entrance, another 4WD vehicle fetched us to and from the campsite which is less than two minutes away from the main entrance.
This campsite has about 107 camps, 20 or so wooden chalets and also 20+ VIPs private individual chalets.
We booked a two-beds camp to experience the night stay in the desert.
The camp was clean and met our expectations. The shared bathrooms & toilets were also clean. The only setback was the unstable flow of the hot water, and we have informed the host about it.
Breakfast served was adequate.

UUtilisateur anonymeStrategically located, clean, spacious and soundproof room. We had a comfortable two nights stay here. There's a small issue with the hot & cold water in the shower but it is not a problem with us. Although the hotel seems to be built in the late 90s, everything is working well. They also provide self laundry services. From the moment we checked in, the front desk lady and the security guard till we checked out , all of them were so helpful and welcoming. We are grateful for their warm hospitality. Just beside the hotel, walk to the left side across the road is Wuzhong's most famous lamb offal soup. It is also located less than 10 minutes away from Wuzhong Railway station.
Highly recommended to stay here!

IInvitéWe had a very great time at All the Way North Youth Hostel. Especially the contact with the host and his family was great as they recommended us lots of things to do. The highlight of our trip was a hiking trip to the Tengger Desert that was organised by the hostel and a tourism agency they work together with, this was an experience we will cherish for the rest of our lives. It was easy to get in contact with the other travellers, lots of new friends and good conversations! Definitely a much better experience than a stay at one of the anonymous large hotels, especially when coming to Ningxia as foreigners who don't know where to go.

JJodie_92We had an absolute amazing time here at the Desert Camp 🐪 the staff were very helpful and we were able to do many activities the site provided.
Side Note: the address on trip is not accurate, you should call the camp before you travel to help you with directions.

KKnufbergstravelNice room. We had a room with a window but no view to the backyard which did not bother us because we were there only for sleeping. To use the shower you basically have to stand between the sink and toilet or on top of the toilet, which was not ideal but we had worse. The hotel is quite thin-walled. You can here other guests from their rooms and whats going on in the lobby, too.
The personal was more than willing to help and friendly.
There is also a tap water supply in the entrance room and we could take our bicycles to the room.

IInvitéTrès satisfait, viens ici pour séjourner à l'hôtel Ey, le petit frère de la réception est très enthousiaste, et je suis aussi en train de me donner de l'eau chaude, craignant que je soûle, il est également pratique de manger dehors, il y a beaucoup de restaurants, je viendrai la prochaine fois, très satisfait d'une expérience de séjour.

Though the hotel facilities were basic, it gives you everything you need. The room is clean & tidy, and quiet.
The location is good, next to the big shopping mall with a supermarket, ample of eating places to choose from. It's not far from most of the tourist attractions, that I can easily reach by taking public transportation.
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

IInvitéRecommander vivement la base de camping internationale de la première étoile de Sabou! a complètement détourné mon imagination de camping. Le climatisation et l'électrothermie dans les chambres de luxe sont complètes et la nuit n'auraient pas à craindre les écarts de température. La plus surprenante est la fête de feu de chaleur, le personnel chantant avec tous les personnes et dansant, et le sentiment d'atmosphère est plein. Le jour, jeu de ski, regardez les étoiles à la nuit, l'itinéraire est super riche. Le service est également très intime, toutes les exigences peuvent être répondues en temps utile, c'est absolument un voyage inoubliable dans le désert!
